I can't install ANY AIR-based App in Windows XP Pro SP3

Here is the problem: I have AIR 1.5.1.8210, but any AIR apps can't be installed and when I try it the OS crashes and I have my computer restarted. It's very weird 'cause it's heppen only with AIR apps.
Yes, this is my last resource to find an answer to it.
Yes, I've done my homework and yes, I've done some research (and still doing it)
Yes, I'm using my administrator account logged on with password (so, I think, apps has no problem to install)
Yes, I tried install it with another user account I thought the app will ask the admin password (just like in Linux OS, when the app on installation ask you about the root password). Even though, no success. Of course, it's something expected 'cause the user hasn't admin permissions. But I give a shot.
Yes, I've already installed/installed about 5 times AIR runtime and the AIR apps (even manually) and no success...at all!
Yes, I used at least 4 apps to system/registry/file cleaning (CCleaner, Glary Utilities, Advanced System Care  and MVRegClean)...too many of them, but only to be sure of the complete cleaning.

2+2 = 4. So, I done/undone all the steps in the last two links (I installed/unistalled the AIR runtime and AIR apps 5 times, remember?) Usually, I can handle my own problems in computer, but this one I can't figure it out.
After all of this here's my system specifications: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3600+ (2.01Ghz), Windows XP Pro SP3 (32bits), Nvidia GeForce 7100 (512 Mb), 1.5 Gb RAM. Web browser: Mozilla Firefox 3.0.8 with TwitterFox.
So, could anyone help? I know, I know to mucj information, burt it was to facilitate the conversation, believe me.

Well, well, well, right before somenone could answer me. I found the answer just here in the forum. I really love it!!!
  Seems to be a incompatibility with the file created on Folder Lock installation: "windrvnt.sys." In this case, it is just uninstall Folder Lock and tah dah! Everything works perfectly.
  Here comes my request: Hey, developers you all could give a try in resolve this issue, huh? At least give a try...It'll be very nice have the two programs properly installed in anybody's (who wants it) system.
  Thanks, anyway for this space to research, change some infos even undirectly. If it was not this forum and all the debate in here maybe I'll be in the dark search for the resolution of it.

    I have drawbacks installing Abap Trial SP12. When it comes to 89% ends abruptly.
    I set up MS Loopback Adapter. The operating system is Windows XP Professional SP3. 1Gb RAM. Disk Space 50Gb Free.
    I have installed thousand and once and presents the same mistake. I have followed the procedure to uninstall the MaxDB, Stop service SAP, Clear Folders installed and clean record with RegCleanTool. And nothing, I am grateful for the help they can give me.

    - Java Runtime 1.6
    The uninstall and install the following.
    - Windows XP Pro SP2
    - Java Runtime 1.5

  • I can't install any application of App Catalog

    These morning I couldn't update my apps. My Pre said me I was disconnected from my Palm Profile and Reset. This erased my data. After that I can't install my apps.
    I've tried to pass WebOS Doctor and full erase, and the problem still continues.
    More people are reporting same problem in precentral.net in different countries and carriers.
    I've lost free NFS, Sims and Monopoly, and lost three hours.
    We need an official response.

    I have heard that we are working on a fix for this, but do not have any further information on when that will happen.  I'll post an update when I hear something, but until then be aware that this is not an issue with the phone and performing a webOS Doctor or some other means on your phone is not recommended.
    I will be closing all threads related to this issue and pointing to the this thread, where I will also post any additional information as I hear it.

  • 5800xm can't install any QT-Based application

    Hey.
    Recently, I've found this cellphone lying around in my brother's house, with the screen broken. He said it was a great phone till the screen cracked out of nowhere (touch area intact, lcd glass intact), and he didn't bother fixing it, bought the **bleep** bitten fruit phone.
    anyway, I brought it back to life two or three days ago. A new batt (actually, two - the normal battery and the clock's batt), a screen (cheap nowadays) and a lot of WD40 on the board, to flush out the oxidation. Had the v20 FW and I've updated it OTA to v60.0.003 (released 09-22-2011)
    Phone is working great. Everything works as expected, but for some reason, I can't install QT applications (To be more exact, ANY application on Ovi store that says "Might download more than 12mb, wifi is required" or something). I've been told to do a hard-reset, which has been done in both ways: By code and by keypresses (Green + Red + Camera + turn on phone). The last one did make a difference: The "XpressMusic" and the hard key lights doesn't turn on anymore (I don't care, so don't worry). With a "fresh system", I couldn't install it either. Then I've been told to install one by one those dependencies that the Smart Installer does for us.
    The culprit seems to be the PIPS, which doesn't install neither with a strong pray.
    I've tried almost everything, I didn't try removing the SD Card and install it without, hard-reset without SD and SIM card (Seems like to me that it goes to a even freshier system this way) and select a different location (I'm selecting my actual place: Brazil). Other applications works fine.
    So, what I'm supposed to do? They've told me to hack the phone to get a logfile from AMD or something, which would help me solving my issue on my own, but I'm too chicken for flashing a phone and all.
    Phone Model: 5800 XpressMusic (might be mid 2009 made)

    Firmware: v60.0.003 (Updated OTA from v20)

    There was unfortunate problem with 5800 XpressMusic PR6 firmware but this firmware version is now being properly handled by Smart Installer and Qt application installations work again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    That particular printer is shown by the Windows 7 hardware compatibility website to not be compatible with Windows 7.

  • I can't install any application

    I can't install any application from App store directly to Iphone using 3G, it's downloading it but after the loading process is complete, the apps won't open when I tap it, instead, it will start loading/downloading again. (The blue loading indicator doesn't appear/progress but it say's loading then it will stop loading and the name of the apps will appear as if it's already installed but the loading indicator is still empty. When I tap it, it will start all over again in loading/downloading process.)

    If I check it in store - it says, downloaded, but the application is still not opening, the loading indicator still empty but it says the app name already as if its like downloaded already, but when you tap the icon, it will start again sayin, "LOADING" but the blue indicator doesn't fill the empty bar. .
    What do you think bro? should I just restore factory settings? wew. . too bad.

    The message implies that a previous purchase may not have been paid-for due to problems collecting the money from your account. Have you tried logging into your account and updating/changing your payment details (tap on your in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your iPad and tap 'view Apple id' on the popup and sign into it) ? Until there is an accepted payment method on your account (credit card, redeemed iTunes gift cards) and what you owe has been paid then you won't be able to download anything (including app updates).

  • AIR seems to install but won't install any AIR apps

    I installed AIR on Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise Edition, and it seems to install OK (no error messages).  But when I go to install an AIR app (Yammer desktop in this case) it will not install the app and I never see the installer come up.  This is a new computer that never had AIR on it.  First I went ot the Yammer site to load the app there, as I did on my XP computer.  The install started, but hung up.  I was at work, so I let it sit for a few hours, but it was still hung.  I then rebooted and tried to install using the offline installer.  It seemed to install, but won't install any AIR apps.  I have uninstalled/reinstalled AIR and Yammer but no change.  I also tried uninistalling using the MS FixIt utility, but no difference.  AIR seems installed but if I go to the Yammer web site, it tries to install AIR again.  Log below.

    Would you be willing to do a desktop sharing session with me so I can take a look at what is happening with your system?  If so, please contact me at [email protected]  If you want to try something immediately, I'd recommend creating a new, temporary, user account and seeing if you can install Yammer there.  If so, log back into your normal account and try launching the installed Yammer app.

    Hi I hope some one can tell me step by step how to fix windows 8.1, I can't update any of my Apps and can't install any new apps now and I get error code 0x80073cf9?  But my problem is different than most of the other FIXES I read about, because nothing
    fixes my problem to be able to install new Apps and get app updates and stop getting that error code?
    I keep getting same error code 0x80073cf9 after I try any of the FIXES I have read about and tried all  the fixes on  my Lenovo Z580 laptop, that came with windows 8 and updated to 8.1.  And ever since I bought this laptop I could
    always install and update all my apps for the last year when I had Win 8 and Win 8.1 now.   This has been going on since April and May and its driving me crazy!    And from the May updates I did get all the updates and
    I also installed the KB update  that said I need this KB to get all updates in the future.  
    But all the other people when they get this error code they could not even open and use any of their Apps already installed.  And they also get the error code when they try to update or get a new apps.   
    But I can click on any APP installed already and use all my Apps with no problems.     I have read so many how to fix this error code but nothing works! :-(      I have tried a lot of 
    the fixes on Microsoft forums that says do this and the fix will get rid of the error code but I keep getting the same error code after I try that  fixes.    And I have read a lot of other windows 8 an windows 8.1  web sites when
    I search for how to fix this error code?   And tried all of the fixes that were different from the Microsoft forum fixes. But after I try those fixes I still can't install any apps or can't get my app updates? 
    Please to any person's who can help me by giving me  more that 1 fix, because I have tried so many fixes, If you know more that 1 fix tell me how to do your fix step by step so I can understand what you say to do to fix my windows store?

    Fixed the problem by going to settings/store and logging out with apple ID.  Then logged back in with password and updates, apps, and iTunes store seem to work ok now.

    Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
