- What do you mean it does not work? Could it be that the app ere not compatible with your model iPod and its iOS?
- Try going to Settings>Store and sign out and sign back in.

I can't buy any apps because I am required to answer two personalized security questions. I don't know the answer to them and I don't even remember creating them. Please help.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Start here (change country if necessary) and navigate to 'Password and Security', reset your security questions using the link provided, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.
If that doesn't help, you don't receive a reset email or you don't have a rescue address, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support. -
Had to change my id because of glitch. Now I can't update any apps because it keeps asking for my old id password.
I had one App to update, alleways whene i tryd to do so the App told me that the App was buyed with a different ID and the Update stopped.
Untill last night whene a finaly was able to update the App.
I only changed the Pasword so i thougt it may be the problem.
But, problem is solved! -
when I try to download an app I am asked to give additional security questions, but I am timed out every time. If I press the "not now" option , the app download resets. At the moment I can't download any apps because of this.
If you have a credit card on file on top of your gift card then it is asking you to confirm the security code for the card, which for a Visa or MasterCard is 3 digits located on the back, or AMEX has 4 digits on the front. This happens just to ensure that you are the account holder, and would happen from time to time whether it was a free or paid app, even if you have a credit through your gift card. This doesn't mean that your credit card will be charged.

Have you tried just powering down for a while and then try again a little later? Try another WiFi network? Reset your router? -

I made this account awhile ago, but I just foud some apps I had purchased on my computer so I downloaded them onto my iPad, but they need to be updated and it asks for my prior account information which I do not know. I tried to send a recovery email, but I never recieved it. How can I update my apps or get my password?

I had an awesome list of my bookmarks before and one day all but three vanished. I don't remember updating or installing anything new. Anyway, I tried to import bookmarks from a few days before and then they all disappeared! Now I can't add any new ones at all. not only that but my back and forwards buttons don't work (aka they don't go blue when I go from site to site on the one tab if you understand what I'm saying?)
Can anyone help me get my list of bookmarks back at least?This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

I was told to uninstall then reinstall itunes because "no apple application support", so i did, now it wont recognise my iphone and says to unistall+install the 64-bit version of itunes so i did, again..and again..still nothing please help me?!
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)
