I can't install Cooliris as it is not compatible with firefox 12?
Hi, i used to use the brilliant Internet Add-on "Cooliris" but it seems that firefox has been uprgraded and it is no longer compatible with Cooliris and i'm unable to use the program. Is it possible for Firefox to update this so that people are still able to use this application?
It's a shame that i can no longer use "Cooliris", i'd be greatful if this could be altered.

How can I fix a website that's not compatible with Firefox?
I work with a website (www.cumctopeka.org) which seems to have compatibility issues with Firefox. I upload audio files through the program FileZilla, and through the website designer Bridge Element (www.bridgeelement.com). Recently the problem has occurred that when audio files are uploaded, they are played as video files through Firefox. Internet Explorer is able to play the files, but not Firefox. I've contacted Bridge Element's tech support several times and they finally said it was a Codec issue with Firefox and some Windows OS. I've personally been able to use Firefox on cumctopeka.org on a Windows 8 and everything works as it should, but then another WIndows 8 laptop will have issues.

I think this is normal, actually. When you load an MP3 "full tab" with the content type audio/mpeg Firefox does use the "video" tag. I think this is left over from a time when there were some limits on the controls of the audio tag.
Anyway, if you want more control over the choice and appearance of the player, you would need to embed a player in your list page.

According to a random website... the HTC Wildfire S uses a Qualcomm MSM7225 processor. This processor unfortunately does not support the full ARM version 7 instruction set, so Firefox cannot run on it.

and it will install ML. Make sure you boot to Internet Recovery and not the Recovery Partition. If to the partition you will only get Mavericks. -

I am using firefox 34.0.5, my thunderbird is 31.3.0 and I am attempting to install the lightning calendar. I checked the compatibility list. I downloaded the correct version of lightning and each time i attempt to install any version it fails and gives me the errors that this version is not compatible with firefox 34.0.5. I have tried five different versions of Lightning with the same results.

We just bought a blue ray with pc to tv capabilities. The Sony website offered plug ins to enable this feature. When trying to add plug in pc-to-tv.xpi (for Firefox) we received this error message "Send from PC to TV 0.7.1 (Beta) could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 3.6.12." any ideas?

Please read that bug I linked you to and let me know if the last comment in the bug solves your problem. Apparently the problem is about the addon .xpi file being read-only. Try right-clicking it, going to Properties and unchecking the "Read-only" attribute box at the bottom of the dialog. Click Apply, then OK. -
I use the kurzweil 300 software and before I can use Read the Web I must first install the KESIReader.xpi Foxfire extension into Mozilla Foxfire however, the extension is not compatible with Mozilla Foxfire 5 which is the version installed on my computer. Enhanced forecaster does not work with my current firefox 3.6 I can go to help and hit repair/extensions and it works for a while. When you go to add ons, it says it is not compatible with 3.6. I downloaded 4.0 and it's the same way. It does not work.
Problem resolved. I was able to download Firefox 4.0.1 and make the software work. Thank you for the on line support.

I updated Firefox this morning. As I use the Google toolbar on a regular basis for many different reasons, I was very upset to find it had disappeared. I went to Google apps to reinstall it, but found out that it is not compatible with this version of Firefox! Please, don't update software, if it is NOT going to work properly.
