I just recovered from a web browser hijack. The cleaning process with Spy Hunter antivirus,deleted all my Firefox profiles,including my profile manager.
How can I reinstall Firefox?
I always get the message "profile not found missing or deleted"

hi mjordy, assuming you're on windows please try the following: press windows-key+R and open ''%appdata%''. in there rename the folder called "mozilla" to something like Mozilla.old and try to launch firefox again afterwards - this should generate a new profile...

You basically answered your own question. If you have access to another computer just go download the appropriate language and OS version of Firefox 5.0 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html and put it on you usb drive and then go and install it onto you pc.

Unfortunately, the Nokia 5130 is a feature phone (a.k.a, a "dumb" phone). Firefox will currently only run on smart phone devices that operated by Android.
Firefox is compatible with Android 2.1 and above devices with hardware requirements recommending at least 512 MB of RAM.

Do you have access to another Mac with a disk drive? If so you can do it in one of two ways:
1 - on the Mac with the optical drive launch Disk Utility and make a disk image of the iLife 11 disk. Connect the two Macs together and transfer the disk image to your MacBook Air. Mount the disk image and install from it. I have my iLife disks saved that way for quick and easy reinstall when necessary.
2 - connect the two Mac together so you can access the MBA from the Mac with the disk drive. Insert the iLife disk, and install from the second Mac to the MBA.

Versions 22 and 23 use a stub program that goes to the internet and installs the program. My server does not have an internet connection, so the stub program does not work. I have just had to upgrade and get a new Pc and it has windows 8.1 which is awful.
I only like to use firefox as my browser.
I have tried to install it but it won't work.
I cannot find any up to date information on the web as to whether firefox can be installed with Windows 8.1
I have a 64 bit operating system.
Is there a way to do this?
Or if not does anyone know if it will be available soon, or i'll have to use chrome which i don't like as much.
I don't have much technical knowledge to do complicated things.
I wonder if it works well on Windows 8 if i try and downgrade.....
Not sure i know how to do that/

For the Windows part it mentions the minimum for each as for example Windows XP with Service Pack 2 is the minimum as Firefox 13.0 and newer will not work on Windows XP or XP SP1.
So for Windows 8 it means all Windows 8.
