I can't install iOS5 on my iPad 2, error 1611.

Hi!
I've upgraded my iTunes to 10.5 and downloaded iOS5 for my iPad2. When I hit upgrade, it backsup and starts the process. I tells be its preparing for restore, when the ipad starts to show the apple logo, then swich to the docking cable and itunes logo, this happens 2-3 times. After this I get an error saying 1611.
I try to hit restore on the iPad, but it wont let me do it. I have to connect it to another mac to do it.
I have done this 10 times atleast since yesterday. But still no success in getting iOS5.
What can i do to fix this restore issue and how do i eventually get iOS5?

Yes, I did check it out, I even called apple support. They said that if I managed to restore from another Mac, they it wouldn't be a hardware issue with the iPad.. Not sure what is what or if its the Mac or the iPad. They just told me to wait a day and try again. I tried it today, same issue :(
I even tried to update manually with the ipsw file.. But when i do that i get a 3002.

You can but if your office computer does not have your backups and iTunes Library from your home computer then the device contents will be wiped. I'd wait until you got home.

you can install the app on any number of devices. There is a limit on how many devices on the same account can stream at the same time.
first, make sure the app is not already on the device by using spotlight to search your device. it may be hidden in a folder somewhere.

The other day I was prompted to update itunes. I started to, and it crashed my itunes. Then I tried to uninstall itunes, so that I could turn around and re-install it again. Now I can not install itunes. I get Runtime Error! message. R6034. For the last two hours I have tried deleting itunes, moving the .dll files to the desktop, restarting the computer (more times than I can count), deleting the temp files, updating my internet explorer, using the fix it program,.....
The two messages that I am getting are:
Runtime Error! Program:c\Program Files (x86)\itunes\Tunes.exe R6034 An application has made an attempt to load the c runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
Also: Service to 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Moblie Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient priviledges to start system services.

I too was getting the same message regarding R6034. After many frustrating hours I went to the iTunes support page and clicked on "install and update." When that page came up I scrolled on to "removing and reinstalling iTunes......" There they tell you what files need to be removed and what order to do it in so you can reinstall iTunes. My iTunes works now and I didn't lose any music.
About the Apple Mobile Device, well that's one of the files that has to be uninstalled. When you reinstall iTunes the Apple Mobile Device is automatically reinstalled.
Hope this works for you as it did for me. Warning: it takes about an hour to do all this.

Are you able to uninstall iTunes and QuickTime?
You might have to search for the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility, which would allow you to remove some applications that you can't from Control Panel.

I have tried some soution from the similar case to uninstall itune and also related components already but finally the probelm still occured.

I had this, and after a large number of fruitless attempts, I had to reload Windows, which solved it. This was of course a real pain, but I had to do it since updating iTunes was necessary in order to get the new iOS version. But before doing such a drastic thing, you could try to restore Windows to a previous point in time by picking a restore point. This of course presumes that you really have some issues with your Windows (which I had) and that you can make a decent guess on when the system was ok (which I couldn't), i.e that you can decide a good date to restore to.

With the subscription you sign in with your Adobe ID that you used to order the subscription. By installation code, I assume you mean serial number. You do not get one with the subscription, but use your Adobe ID.

Can't install iOS 8 on my iPad 3, while there is 6,1 GB of free space available.
iTunes says I have the latest version installed (while it's developer iOS 8 beta 3).
What can I do??
Suggestion for Apple: the iOS installer could temporary remove installed apps to clear space and restore the apps when the installation is complete.

How much space is it saying that you require - I thought that on mine it said 6.7, but I wasn't paying that much attention. You could try deleting something else e.g. if you have any films or TV shows downloaded then you could copy them over to your computer's iTunes library and delete them from your iPad.
