i don´t know what happened..it started giving me an error, and finally stop working.
Now i can´t install it any more.

Please, I need help

Okay. Let's first try a complete uninstall/reinstall as per the following documents:

But if no joy there, let's check to see if there's a .NET issue underlying this:

  • Can Not Install iTunes on Work Laptop

I am unable to install software onto my work laptop.
I would like the ability to drag and drop audio files without using iTunes.
At work, I am able to download audio files from the Web manually - then I would like to drag and drop them from my laptop to the Nano using the USB cable.
I'm able to browse folders on the Nano, and even see additional folders when I show hidden files and folders.
    Can someone help? Thanks!

The site seem to come and go, so they may have problems with their hosting service (it's a one man operation I think and free, so not a huge budget). But I've never heard of anyone getting a virus from it. I tried the site just now, and it's super slow at the moment, but it is loading. There may be other programs that live on the iPod, but Yamipod is the only one I know of.

  • I can't install itunes on my laptop.

I had itunes10 on my laptop and was about to update it when the laptop ran out of batteries.  I kept trying to reinstall it but it didn't work.  Here is where I really screwed up, I went to a site to download an older version of itunes and it was 32 bit instead of 64 bit and I ran it anyways.  Then I got a different error message and now after trying to update to itunes 11 it still isn't working.  I've tried deleting all the data of the program I can find and reinstalling but its still not working.  please help thanks.

here is the error message I get when i try to install
an error occurred during the installation of assembly

  • Can't Install iTunes on my laptop with Windows Vista...PLEASE HELP

I've received error messages every time I try to download iTunes. I've tried the troubleshooting steps on Apple's website but no luck.

Good lord ... a bit of an alphanumeric soup there ...
It's not clear initially which is the fundamental error here. But based on the fact that the 8007371b can be fixed by the System Update Readiness Tool, we might try a manual install of that first. There's information on how to do that in the *Information for Advanced Users* section of the following document.
[Description of the System Update Readiness Tool for Windows Vista, for Windows Server 2008, for Windows 7, and for Windows Server 2008 R2|http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947821]
Installing the tool will run the tool.
After the installation of the tool, restart the PC. Then go back to Windows Update, and attempt to stock up again on Windows Updates. Do they download and install correctly? If so, because you might be a reasonable way behind on updates, keep going back to Windows update until it stops offering you new updates.
Once you're stocked up again, restart the PC again, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Try following along with the article linked below, which will have you completely remove iTunes and it's related components before trying to reinstall iTunes again.

  • Can't install itunes on my laptop

My Laptops battery died and when i charged it.  Itunes was gone and it will not allow me to update or reinstall it!  I have tried ten times so far and just at my wits end.  Tried following all of these directions to find hidden files but could find none I really don't know what to do.

My wife recently went through this on her Windows 7 Pro (32 bit) laptop.  The Itunes update/install would go all the way to the end, then fail.  She ended-up having to uninstall all the Apple software installed on her laptop (6 or 7 items), reboot, then re-install running the installers with the "run as administrator" option.  After doing that, eferything has been fine for her.  It appears that one of the older versions of the Apple software is not fully compatible with the newer version and it is causing the problems.  By removing the old versions, then re-installing, everything is current and up-to-date and works happily together.

  • Got new iPhone but can't install iTunes

I purchased a new iPhone 4 yesterday and thought it would be easy to set up but for some reason I can't install iTunes on my laptop. I can down load the iTunes setup.exe but when it comes to install it, it gets about half way through and it comes up with the error 'Could not access network location %APPDATA%/'. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to overcome this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Fifi.

it gets about half way through and it comes up with the error 'Could not access network location %APPDATA%/'.
With that particular variety of 1606 (it's a 1606 error message even though the 1606 error message number isn't returned by the iTunes installer), the following Microsoft document is worth a try:

  • I have just installed iTunes on my laptop and merged tracks under various artists to form one album but when I sync iTunes to my new ipod the tracks on some of the albums are appearing as single artists..... WHY????  I

I Have just spent the best part of a week installing iTunes on my laptop, transferring over all my music and merging tracks by different artists on one album so that they all show as one album.   I have just plugged in my new ipod classic to sync all my music but the music has gone across in random tracks and split albums.... I really am losing the will to live and am about to throw both iPod and laptop out the window.... So SOMEBODY.... Please HELP.

'The installer has insufficient privileges to modify this file C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\Web kit.resources\inspector\Images\Spinner Inactive Selected.gif.'
That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
Vista instructions in the following document: Check your hard disk for errors
Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?
