I am using toshiba modem M30-S350. My windows has been damaged by virus. After that I installed agains. all driver which I downloaded from toshiba support website are found, except for hotkey driver. Can you explain why and show me the way to fix my error.
( pls show me the link to download hotkey driver or the way to solve this)

Hi
Why you dont use the Toshiba Recovery CD???
The Toshiba image placed on the Recovery CD contains all drivers, tools and utilities which are needed to use all notebook features!!
After the OS installation from Recovery CD you dont need to install any drivers!
One hint; your notebook seems to be a US model. It was designed only for the US market and I presume all compatible drivers and tools must be downloaded and installed from the Toshiba US site!!!
I think you have searched and downloaded the drivers from the Toshiba European site. Am I right??

  • I can't install the drivers on Satellite A665

    Hi every body,
I have a problem with my new Satellite A665 laptop.
I downloaded TV tuner driver but I can't install it on my computer but every time when Im trying to install it the computer ask me the security question and I agree on that.
After that the extraction for the installation file happened and suddenly something like owl pic appear for a moment and disappear after that without install anything.
The same thing happened when I tried to install the 3D staff that I downloaded from Toshiba site on my computer.
    Can anyone help me?
    Thank you

    > I paied my new laptop and open its cartoon, and switch it on, and just click on next...next, after that the windows 7 start to work.
Exactly. Every new Toshiba notebook is preinstalled with Toshiba recovery image and this recovery image contains all necessary drivers, tools and utilities so it is not necessary to install anything.
    >... I did't pay any CD and install the windows from it.
I dont understand this sentence. Fact is that new notebooks are delivered without any installations CD/DVD discs. You must create recovery DVD alone. How to do this is described in users manuals document. Check it out.
Sorry but I must ask you now: what is your problem now?

  • Can't install windows 7 on Satellite C75D-B7260

Can't install windows 7 pro on Satellite C75D-B7260  I have tried a clean install and have tried through windows 8 pro.  Win 7 won't get past start screen.  I have secure boot turned off in BIOS and there is no CMS or legacy setting.  System bios version is 1.20 and ec version is 1.10  Toshiba service station does not find an update for the BIOS. and only 1.10 is listed on the product page.  I found a 1.30(
    BIOS version 1.30 for Satellite C7x-B/L7x-B/S7x-B (PSCL4x/PSKRLx/PSPP2x/PSPP4x/PSCNUx
I have not tried to use this update as my specific part # is not listed in the install notes.

    Downloads here.
You can install Windows 7 if you like. But I doubt you'll ever locate enough of the drivers and utilities to make that laptop work as designed. Toshiba certainly did not create them.
If you have no end of time to burn hunting for those and don't mind some features missing, here's how to install Windows 7.  The disk now uses GPT partitioning, but you want the old MBR partitions. So use the installation package to remove all the existing partitions and create new ones (one is sufficient).

  • Can't install windows XP on Satellite Pro A200-1N2

    hi,
I have a Toshiba Satellite A200-1N2 PSAE3E and I don't want Vista on my laptop. i downgraded the bios to V5.30 But still can't install windows xp and from the bios still there is no optin for SATA.
    Can anybody help me?
    Thanks.

    Hi
Did you install the SATA drivers firstly?
You need this driver to recognize the HDD!
You should download the Intel Matrix Storage Manager. You should find it either on the Toshiba driver page or on the Intel website.
You must perform the installation from an external USB FDD drive using the F6 button while the Win XP setup.

  • How can I install Win XP on Satellite U300-150 PSU30e

    How can i install win xp on U300-150 / Model : PSU30e
I try to boot from CD Win XP SP2 but cannot not detect any HDD.
How can i do it ?
There is no option on bios for SATA support or IDE
    please help me

    Hey buddy
You will not find any SATA or IDE settings in the BIOS. The problem is that you have not installed the SATA driver which is necessary to install the XP on this notebook.
The key is Intel Matrix Storage Manger!
The Storage Manager has to be included into the Windows XP OS during the setup procedure using the button F6.
At the other hand you could include the Storage Manger using the free application called nLite.
Search a little bit in this forum. There are enough threads and postings regarding this theme.

  • Can't install XP Pro on Satellite A200-25H

Can't Install XP Pro on Satallite A200-25H
During F6 install XP pro i use USB floppy drive and Intel 82801 HEM/HBM SATA AHCI drivers, and it lets me format drive NTFS.
Then asks for Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver. in Drive A:.
THe Bios wont allow me to turn off SATA. In fact the CMOS is very bare bones
After that I tried using a slipstreamed XP-pro install CD (with the sata driver included), but the result was the same
It asks me to insert (Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver. in Drive A:)
For some strange reason do the USB floppy not even attempt to read the drive when pressing return.
Any help would be appreciated, since I have run out of ideas
    Thanks

    Yes, Ive got an advice.
In my opinion you should use the nLite software (its free) and you should include the SATA drivers to the new XP CD created with nLite.
I did it last month and it was very easy. Everything worked perfectly!!!
Google a little bit for more info regarding the nLite

  • Re: How can I Install Windows Xp in Satellite A200 1M7 PSAE3E?

    Hi,
I am having a Toshiba Laptop Satellite A200 1m7 PSAE3E, while I am trying to Install windows XP on the laptop, its showing no hard disk installed. Can I get the *Raid* for the laptop? so that I can customize windows XP and detect the hard disk to Install it.
    Thanks in Advance.

    > while I am trying to Install windows XP on the laptop, its showing no hard disk installed
You have to install the SATA drivers!
The notebook supports the SATA controller and the drivers are not a part of the Windows OS!
The SATA drivers are in the Intel Storage Manager!!
Read some threads here regarding this theme to get more details!! There are a lot of threads!
    > Can I get the Raid for the laptop?
No because the notebook does not support RAID controller.

  • How can i install Windows XP on Satellite L40-17R?

I was trying to install windows XP on my new L40-17R.
I get a msg says that i dont have a HDD.
I enter the BOIS so i can find a setting for SATA HDD to disable it like i do in my old ASUS.
But i didn't find anything related for the HDD in the BIOS.
So any body plz can help me how can i do to instal windows XP?
    I will be thankfull

You dont need to disable anything in the BIOS. Just simply install the Intel Matrix Storage Manager and the OS will recognize the HDD.
Either you will install the SATA driver (storage manager) from the external USB floppy drive or you will use the software nLite to build an own XP CD and to include the SATA driver into the new XP.

It will be interesting to know which driver you have downloaded exactly. Is this driver given by ATI or designed by Toshiba?
I dont know in which country you live but on this page you can find the right address http://www.toshiba-europe.com/eu/contact/details.asp?group=By+Country .

  • Can not install graphic driver on Satellite A200-1FJ (PSAE3E)

I wanted to update my graphic display drivers. I have a intel GMA965 family card - x3100. When I download the drivers from the Toshiba download center and I try to install them I get a message that this computer doesn fulfill the requirements to install this software.
I updated the bios in my computer but it didn help. Currently I am using the 7.14.10.1227 version of the drivers which date to 2007-03-06. I hope you can help me with this problem.

I did try that and I get a message that those drivers are not authorised on this computer and that I should download the drivers provided by the notebook producer which say my Intel x3100 doesn't meet the nessecary requirements. It is a little frustrating since I heard that the new drivers improve the display quality and fps in some games.

  • Satellite M30 - Continuous beeps at startup

    Hi,
Hopefully someone can help. I have a Satellite M30 - about 18 months old. When I turn it on is comes up with a black screen and beeps continuously, blue light under power button flashes continuously and takes a good 20 seconds or so before Windows loads... This has only been happening for the last week or so.
Any ideas about what is wrong?
    Cheers

    Hi Picard
I presume there is obviously some hardware problem but on this way it is impossible to say why. Did you make some hardware upgrade at last time like memory upgrade?

  • Satellite A300-15M - Can I install a second HDD?

    Hi there.
I own a SatelliteA300-15M. I bought the laptop 2 years ago. I have already 250GB hard drive which came with the laptop. Recently I got my laptop serviced from local shop. I noticed that it has an additional slot for another hard drive. I saw a post that some of the A300/A305 laptops have the space for second hard drive but not the connectors.
If anyone owns A300-15M can they please tell me if i can install a second internal hard drive in my model? Is there a sure way to find if I can really install a second hard drive?

    Hello
    > but not the connectors.
So the case is claer: If you dont have a second SATA connector, you cant install a second HDD.
Check also the forum regarding such questions. The point is that one notebook series (e. g. Satellite A300) is always equipped with the same case but the hardware is different. So not all models have the same features. ;)

  • Satellite X200-245 can i install a second HDD

    on satellite X200-245 : can i install a second hard drive ?
    is it possible ?
There is a place for it but no sata connection on the mother board where can i find this connector

No you cannot install the second HDD because there is no HDD connector which would allows to connect the HDD to the mobo.
And No, its not possible to upgrade the mobo with such connector.
The X200 has the two HDD bays because some X200 support 2 HDDs and some dont support it.
Your X200 doesnt support 2 HDD

  • Can I install 64-bit OS on Satellite A200?

Can I install a 64-bit OS on Satellite A200 equipped with a intel t2350 proccessor?

Of course you can install the 64bit OS on the Toshiba notebooks but the question is if you will get the compatible 64bit drivers well, I think if you will install the 64bit OS you will have to run the notebook without the Toshiba tools and drivers because the 64bit drivers are not available on any of Toshiba pages
In such case you will have to search on chip manufacture sites for compatible drivers!
