I can't load a website on my imac like i used 2 but i can on my windows pc?

I've restarted, empty cache, reset safari, tried to use a different browser (firefox), checked parental controls; it can't be the router cause my pc is hooked up to that and that works. I don't know what else to try!!! I'm not too versed in computers, so please talk simply...could it be a virus? I have Norton and did a scan, nothing...

So maybe I can pick your brain occasionally??
#1. Me see if I have this right; my understanding is that because Windows OS is used in 95% of the market's OS's that's why virus's are more geared toward Windows OS's, because it's the predominant OS. Hackers just don't create virus's for mac's as much, but they are out there.....(?) and once, or if, mac starts getting a larger share of that percentage, virus's will start showing up....(?)

I was looking into trying to make my imac run faster and I remembered about 'run'; 'msconfig' and the 'start up apps' in windows, I googled msconfig for mac's and came up with System Preferences; Accounts; Log-In Items, and went from there. I then found out about the similar 'Task Manager' (windows) in mac would be checking 'Activity Monitor' in the Utilities folder (jeez, it's like learning computers all over again!), setting it to: 'See All Processes' and seeing "if anything is using up more resources than it should be".
But I don't know what I should be looking for??
This is the big question, so I understand I went overboard and you choose to not accept this question.

You can try to reset (power off/on) the router.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.<br />

Why I can't see Apple website videos on Samsung tablet? Used many browsers, same result...

I could not find a website issues community and this one was the closest I could find. If this needs to be moved to a different community, please do so.
I realize it's cross platforms, but web browsing should be the same for everyone, no matter what device is used.
I can watch Apple website videos just fine on Windows/Chrome browser (or IE, Firefox) but can't on Samsung Android/Chrome browser (also tried Firefox, Opera, Samsung browser).
Other websites embedded videos are working (i.e. youtube, vimeo, forums etc.) so far it is only the Apple website embedded videos that are not working.
Any idea why?

The performance fixes is a biggy for me, though the other missing

Well ... now that's the rub. I would actually welcome this intermediate version to play with (even with the cost of upgrading) if I could rely on it to be finalized into 6.0, full featured, without it taking as long as it has to Upgrade from AA3.0. I would say it was a VERY smart move to give us a preview of 6.0, if I felt in, say, six months they would provide us the fully functional update. But, HOW many years has it been. I felt screwed over while they played around with Sound Booth.
I was with you for a minute in most of what you said, until your credibility went down a couple notches with me on the statement trivializing midi functionality. I though that was a very clueless statement:

I have just migrated my library from Aperture to photos. All seems to have gone smoothly, except for one thing. All of my photos are 'untitled', whereas in both Aperture, and previously iPhoto, the filename was used for the title. If I hit CMD+I and get info, the title is still there as the filename, as I use the filename for all titles.
Is there a way to batch copy all filenames as photo titles, this was done automatically in Aperture and iPhoto, as when photos were imported the filename was used automatically.
Any help appreciated.

You can Filter (not sort) on both color label and rating if you want, open the Filter Bar with the backslash key, then click on Attribute, and then select the stars and color label of interest. If you really meant "sort" and not filter, then you can't do this in Lightroom.

That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.
