I can't log in Administration Console

Here is an iimages with my attempt:
The user and pasword  are right, the one used when I  installed FMS but it won't let me login! What I am doing wrong and where should I look for a fix?

Hi
For 4.0
     1. Stop the FMSAdmin Service.
     2. Open up <rootDir>/conf/fms.ini
     3. Set username. Example:
         SERVER.ADMIN_USERNAME = admin
     4. Set password. Example:
         SERVER.ADMIN_PASSWORD = password
     5. Start the server.
     6. Now try connecting.
Also make sure port 1111 is enabled on the server.
Thanks

  • The descriptor can be edited from administration console

In weblogic 8.x, the descriptor can be edited with weblogic builder dynamically.
However, I can't edit the descriptor dynamically from administration console in weblogic 10g.
Can't the descriptor be edited dynamically from administration console?

I guess it depends on what descriptor you're talking about, but mostly you can't edit them from the console. You should be able to edit some parameters in the weblogic-ejb-jar.xml file. Editing application descriptor values is something that deployment plans are good for. A deployment plan is an XML file that specifies a file to change, a parameter to modify, and a new value.

  • Can't log onto Admin console, Can't pay overdue invoice, website deactivated - No Support possible!!

    Hello there!
As the title says, I basically can't do anything right now, and BC support hasn't really been able to help me when I asked about this previously here in the forums (when the website was still active, which it now no longer is). When trying to log onto the Admin console all I get is: "ERROR: This site is currently unavailable. For more information please contact: (My name)." And yes, I'm the administrator. I created the website using Adobe Muse and published it using that. There has been no other party involved, except for Godaddy.com where I bought the domain.
Unlike I've been told it should be, I do not get and never got a form to fill in my payment details upon logging onto the admin console.
I also get and did get that exact above error message when trying to submit a support ticket, so the only place I've been able to ask at is here.
As I mentioned in my earlier post, I wasn't able to correct my credit card details when the card was no longer valid because I was on vacation, and somehow didn't manage to access that menu on mobile. A week later, I got another email, telling me that all admin services have been disabled until I pay the invoice. At this point I started getting the above error message. Now, another few weeks later the website itself has been deactivated - I still can't pay the invoice.
As I'm not very used to doing the whole setup of a website, I definitely don't want to spend that time again, but simply just want to pay the overdue invoice!
    Help is very much appreciated!
    -Alex W.

    Hi Alex,
Please submit a ticket via the following form and we will escalate it to the accounts team: http://www.businesscatalyst.com/contact
However, I can see that the site you may be referring to is set to bill the partner directly. Therefore you will need to log into the admin console of this site as the partner user, and you will then be prompted with a payment form to pay the outstanding invoice. It appears that [email protected] is the partner user assigned to this portal, so please try logging in as that user.
    Thanks.

  • Can't log into ds console

    Folks,
We are migrating from 5.1 to 5.2. So we installed 5.2, ran migration and then shutdown 5.1, changed port in dse.ldif to 389 and then started ds. I changed admin-serv/config/adm.conf to port 389 and then started admin server. When I run startconsole and log in here is the message:
for host <my host> trying to GET /admin-serv/authenticate, admin40_host_ip_check reports: Unathorized host ip=::<my ip>, connection rejected.
    any thoughts?

I didn't really understand your problem, but i think that for sure you have two possible issues.
First one (hopefully): somebody in the domain can use the console then this person can add your ip address by connecting to the Administration Server, Networ tab, in the Connection Restrictions choose Ip adresses to allow, click add and then add your Ip address.
The second possible issue is that you changed your server port number before reconfiguring the console,
then you have to change it by editing the following files:
    -serverroot/userdb/dbswitch.conf
    -serverroot/admin-serv/config/adm.conf
    -serverroot/shared/config/ldap.conf
    -serverroot/shared/config/dbswitch.conf
    Bye

  • Can't log into admin console after install

I have installed CF10 on an Amazon AWS Windows 2012 instance.  No matter what I use for the admin console password during setup, the password is not recognized when setup is complete and I try to log into the admin console.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled four times trying simple as well as complex password with no luck.

Try to login from your machine rather than server itself with different browsers.
Also, run the passwordreset.bat(C:\ColdFusion10\cfusion\bin) and try to change the password. Then login.

    Thanks

  • Can't log in to Console

I installed on my Win2000 system and said I did not want a password. However, when I try to go into the Console it asks for a password. It says in the doc that the first time you go in it should accept the system username and password you started with. When I enter that it rejects it. In fact, it rejects everything I can think of. I cannot get into the Console. Any idea why?

    Hi Bill,
serach in your installation directory for the file password.ini or look in the config.xml of what server you want to start (ie. mydomain or examples), section server, item "SystemPassword".
Hint the userID of examplesServer is "system", its password is "examplesPassword".

  • Can't log into db console (insufficient privileges error at log in screen).

I have two system I just rebuilt and one server with same users and grants logs in fine, the other one gives me this error even on attempting to log in as sys as sysdba.
I read that I had to grant select_catalog_role and select any dictionary, which I did and it still will not let me log in.
    OS:Linux AS4 update 8, Oracle 10g (10.2.0.4.0), attempting to log into dbconsole.
Any advice would be great. Is there a way to stop dbconsole and restart it- will that work? Or shutdown the database and restart???

my sysman user account was locked- I unlocked it and now I am fine.

  • Web based administration console

    Hi,
I know that a lot of folks have had problems running the admin server on linux, and thus can't run the administration console. As well, the administration console is not a good solution when the LDAP server(s) are on the other side of a firewall.
Is anybody here interested in having a web based administration console that allows you to do 95% of what you can do with the regular console? As well, it could offer some additional features.
I could develop and maintain such a system for Sun and the upcoming RH DS, if there is sufficient interest.
Contact me by clicking my handle, and using the email address.

  • Two Administrator Consoles - problem with logging

    Hi Everybody,
This is my first post on this really great board, so first of all I would like say HELLO.
    Now, my problem is.
I have got two Administrator Consoles on one machine to manage two domains.
When I logging to one Admin Console using web browser, logs me out of the other one.
I use the same name and password for both consoles.
Please help me understand what I doing wrong.
    Thank You,
    Paul

    Hi Paul,
Welcome to OTN forums your views and ideas are really appreciated here.
    Coming to you problem.
As you mentioned that you have two different domain running on same Machine but you cannot access both Admin console at one time because of having same port number on both port.
Weblogic Admin Server comes with default called 7001.
Now Try to change the Admin Server port to different one eg: 7003 and then you can start both the Admin console at a time.
Still you have issue please let me know.
    Happy to help you :).
    Regards,
    Kal

    Hi,
The cause of unable to remote back to the server seems to be services hung, please try to reset session as the article below guides to see if it works:
Windows Server: Remote Desktop Error: The task you are trying to do can't be completed because Remote Desktop Services is currently busy

If the issue can always be re-produced, then I would suggest you fully patch the system.

    rmelideo,
Firstly, you refer to "WebDB administrator" and "WebDB 1.6". This is not WebDB. You're confusing this with an entirely different product released in the late 90's.
You don't say what your specific error is. But the file does not exist errors in your Apache error log look suspicious. It looks like you have not copied the images directory from the HTML DB 2.0 distribution.

  • Can't see Stream Files in administration console !!

I have created a new Directory called "mydir" into the
Application Directory Of Flash Media Server.
I copied my "mydir.flv" file into ths directory.
    But :
Problem 1 : I can't see this file in the Stream Section of
    the Administration Console.
    Problem 2 : I can't access the adress :
    rtmp://localhot/mydir/mydir.flv
Please, help me since I must have forgoten some essential
steps in my Server Installation process.
    Thanks

The reason you can't see the streams is because they only
show up when they are being accessed (played) which is probably the
dumbest thing ever. Anyhow, as for the URL not working, not exactly
sure why, but I know this is dumb, you have a typo: rtmp://localho
    St/mydir/mydir.flv

  • How can i log on as an administrator?

how can i log on as an administrator?

Click  in the menu bar.
Choose Log out  .........your standard account name.
When the login screen appears, login to your administrator account.
If you have set up automatic login, click your standard account name in the menubar and choose the Administrator account.
    Best.

  • Can't log in as administrator after update

I upgraded to 10.4.8 and now I can't log in as administrator. At the log in screen, it will go away after I enter the passwordand act like it will work, but then the log in screen will appear again. I have a test account that I am still able to log in to. If i try operations that require the administrator password in this account, the password works. I tried turning the automatic log in for the administrator on in the test account and restarting it, but then the gray screen with the circle never goes away. I reset the PMU and now when I log in as administrator, the screen fades to blue, the mouse reappears, and then nothing.

    DrRV
After /sbin/fsck -f the volume was repairedDid you run it again until it said it was OK?
-sh: !: event not foundThat's very peculiar. Anyway, just replace that line with
chown root:admin .GlobalPreferences.plist(The "!$" is just a shorthand for the same last argument).
I just get the same initial line:
This is more serious, and means there is no "DisableAutoLogin" key in the file. So I don't understand why you have autologin set.
First let's make sure you have the file (in Single User again):
ls -l /Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences*This should show both "/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist" and "/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.orig". Then I'd like to know why that "!$" didn't work, so
echo $SHELL(that's just out of interest).
If you do have a "/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist", then:
file /Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plistIf this comes back saying "data", let's convert it to text, if necessary, so you can look at it:
plutil -convert xml1 /Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plistCheck by doing
file /Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plistagain, and make sure it now says "XML document text". Then you can examine the file with:
more /Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plistwhich will display one screenful: a space moves to the next screen, a return moves down one line, a "b" moves back one screen in case you overshoot. "q" quits the more program. Look for the line "<key>com.apple.userspref.DisableAutoLogin</key>" which will be near the end.
Sorry there's a lot to do but if I restrict it to one question per post it would take too long!
