You'll have to choose Digital Publishing Suite for your OS from the dropdown list of available updates....

  • I can not login into the Folio Builder, I introduce my user and password and keeps logging in...

I've introduced my user and password, the Folio Builder tries to login but gets stuck logging in with the wheel spinning.
I've tried to uninstall and install Indesign CS6 again several times but nothing different happened...
    Could you help me please?
    Thanks.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
You can check if there are entries in the password manager with an empty user name.
Make sure that you haven't saved multiple (uppercase, lowercase) versions of that name and password.
    Remove saved Password(s):
    * Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
If you click "Never" then you create an exception that needs to be removed.

  • Can't sign in to Folio Builder - Urgent deadline

I keep getting the error message 'Sign in has failed [svr Unknown]'
    I am using CS5.5. I originally installed V1.01. This didn't allow me to log in so I downloaded 1.13.2. - I can't install this because I don't have OS 10.6!!
I am operating OS 10.5.8 and cannot upgrade to 10.6 as my machine is an iMac circa 2006. OS10.6 is a system requirment for the latest version of Folio Builder it seems.
Please can someone get back to me urgently with a solution to getting my Folio Builder to work as I have created a publication that needs to be uploaded for iPad tonight!!!
    Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure you are out of luck if you are on OS 10.5 You can try installing the older version of the folio producer tools from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/collection.jsp?collID=4&platform=Macintosh, but that won't impact the version of folio builder panel that's installed. You have to have the latest version of the panel.
Note that we have never supported 10.5, although in past releases it did happen to work. The system requirements at http://www.adobe.com/products/digital-publishing-suite-pro/tech-specs.html have always indicated 10.6 is the minimum.

  • Can't sign in to FOLIO BUILDER!?

    Hi guys
I get the message below when I try to log in. Can anybody help? My collegues have tried too and they have failed too?
    Cheers
    Gemma

    Hi all,
I'm having difficulties signing into the Folio Builder panel from InDesign. When I click the Sign In link, another window opens and I input my Adobe ID details (I know these work because I can post on here), hit ok and nothing happens, I don't even get an error message!
    I am running the following:
    Windows 7
    InDesign CS5
    Folio Builder Panel 1.1.3
I am not running CS5.5 because I have been asked to look at the plug-ins for CS5 (folio builder and overlay creator) and see if it will save on the cost of upgrading our whole team to CS5.5.
    Thanks,
    Stewart.

  • Why can I not access my folio builder panel?

After updating my inDesign CS6 and DPS Content viewer on my MAC OS X, I am unable to access my folio or articles. When I open inDesign it will show the folios at first but will not allow me to select any folio or view the articles within them. When I minimize the panel the and open it again, everything disappears. I have closed  inDesign and started it up again as well as restarting my MAC, but nothing seems to work. Please help.

I have access to the indesign files, but unfortunately I am unable to view my folio builder, I can create a new folio and add articles, but I cannot see any activity one the panel. It is just frozen.

Message is "sign in failed. username and password do not match" Is there a way of updating my password within the folio builder?

  • Hi, I can not sign in in FOLIO BUILDER. My version is DBS Patch CS6 30.0.1 . Please help!!!! Thanks!!!!

    Please help!!!

I’d like to try to summarize various issues related to FBP sign-in failures reported in this thread to hopefully provide better clarification on current known issues and their workarounds. From what we know so far there are 2 distinct issues wrt FBP sign-in failure with different workaround:
    1. When user launches FBP or in FBP offline state, clicking on “sign in” link or menu does nothing. No sign in dialog is shown and no error displayed either in FBP. Current known workaround is:
Uninstall Adobe Creative Suite on the system
    Apply the cleaner @ http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
    Reinstall Adobe Creative Suite
    2. When user launches FBP or clicks on “sign in” link or menu, “Sign in to Creative Cloud Membership” dialog comes up, when user enters DPS credential and click on “sign in”, and error dialog is displayed with error [IMS_ERROR_IN_SAVE_USER_DATA] and the user cannot sign in. The known workaround is:
    Close FBP and Indesign;
    Deleting /Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db or just remove the entire OOBE folder;
    Restart InDesign and FBP;
When the user clicks “sign in” again and enter the DPS credential in “Sign in to Creative Cloud Membership”dialog to sign in, FBP should be able to enter online state and show all the folios in the account.
DPS engineering team is actively investigating the root cause of both issues. Before a fix is available, if you encounter either of these two issues and the problem still exists after you tried the workaround, please report back to forum.
    Thanks!

  • Can't log to Folio Builder in v26 - jumps to AAM

      This is just weird!
I've just upgraded tools to V26, and i can't log accounts. When i choose "Log in" in Folio Builder panel, it jumps to Adobe Application Manager, where i see login dialog. Regardles what i type in (any account), it just quits after while without any confirmation or error. When i try to login again in folio builder, this is happening again.
This is very major problem for me at this moment, because we are finishing one mag, and i need to publish modifications - now i can't. What the...?
    Martin

    Reinstalling tools make no difference.

  • Can I use Folio Builder with my Adobe ID on another computer?

I'm working in Windows XP. I have a folio hosted in my free acrobat.com workspace, with the source files on a network drive. If I sit at someone else's computer in my workgroup and log in to Folio Builder, I can see my folio and can edit and save the articles just fine but I cannot Update them. Any attempt to Update an article in Folio Builder produces a 'content generation error'. Any attempt to get a Preview produces the same error.
Back on my own computer, everything is hunky dory.
Is this expected behaviour? Do Preview and Update rely on temp files in my specific Application Data folder, perhaps? I have ditched InDesign prefs on the computer in question but it makes no difference.

    Hello John,
Yes, the ability to relink (much like you can do with media in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and InDesign) is what I had in mind.  I actually did look for a place in Folio Builder that would let me redefine the location of the parent folder for all of my folios.  In the video production world we have to move and share source and media files with other people frequently so I was surprised to learn this wasn't yet supported with ADPS.
For us the main reasons for some sort of relinking ability are:
    - When you need to update files on a work trip, from home, or some other mobile situation.
    - For instances in the future when you have backed up a project and need to restore it to make updates.
    - When you need to hand over a project to someone else at a different workstation or even another facility.
Of the two choices you mentioned, I think the ability to "fix" the broken links makes the most sense for the situations I've encountered so far.  Assuming it's straightforward I would have no problem going through the process when switching machines.  I would assume that print designers are familiar enough with linked assets that they wouldn't have a problem with this either.

  • Cannot log out permanently from Folio Builder, logs itsels in upon ID restart

I'm teaching DPS authoring to a group of students and want them to be able to sync their work at the school with their home computers. So they logged in from the Folio Builder Panel on CS6. This happened previously from a specific modal dialog inside Folio Builder. Now it summond AAM and doesn't give the choice to not to remember account as it did before.
But annoying as this may be, this shouldn't avoid logging out manually from the Folio Builder, which has an option for that. The issue is that Folio Builder logs itself into the account automatically on InDesign restart. There seems no way to permanently log out from Folio Builder (or rather AAM now). So it's just absurd to be able to log out temporarily if the account is remembered no matter how.
As  convinient this may be on home or professional devices, this poses a serious security and privacy concern for me and my students who can not seem to unlink their personal or professional AdobeID from the school setup, allowing anyone using those computers to access their DPS Cloud and potentially deleting works, uploading undesired content, breaching all sorts of confidientiality agreements, etc.
I would really appreciate some input on this issue and a way to permanently sign out from AAM / Folio Builder

You should be able to force the logout by quitting InDesign and deleting this folder: /Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and then restarting InDesign.
    Yes, this is awkward

  • Problem with login in Folio Builder after update to v26

After updating to v26 I can't sign in to Folio Builder. Whan I press «sign in» either in panel or in panel menu, nothing happens.
    Help please!

You can try downgrading to downgrading to older version:
    Mac: http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/dpsdesktoptools/mac/2.06.1/AdobeDigitalPublishingPatch -All.dmg
    Windows: http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/dpsdesktoptools/win/2.06.1/AdobeDigitalPublishingPatch -All.zip
    Update:
If you have cracked (Illegal) InDesign, I wouldn't work. If you don't know, if it is cracked, go to help section and look for Log In and Update buttons, when they are disabled. If they are, you have cracked (Illegal), you need to buy InDesign.

  • Folio Builder sign in???

Anyone know a fix for this? I last logged in through Folio Builder about two weeks ago - I stopped messing with it when there was all the issues with Content Viewer. Before that everything was fine with logging-in. I can log into my Acrobat account online with the same log-in info, but not through Folio Builder.
    Help please!
    Thanks!!

Nope, had to once again kill the app and delete from the Xoom.
Reinstalled the viewer, trying to sign-in.  Getting a Authentication Timed out message now.
    Bob B.....  BOOOOOOOOBB BBB!
Any word as to what might be going on?  Incredibly frustrating.  If you only knew who the target audience was for this, you'd laugh.

  • Folio Builder login problems

I am having problems logging in to Folio Builder via InDesign (5.5) using my Adobe ID. I know it works because I am logged in with it now! I can access my folios in Content Viewer on my iPad using the same login details, but I obviously can't update folios without getting in to ID.
I have tried logging in via Acrobat.com and agreeing to terms and conditions, and I have tried restarting a couple of times. Still nothing! Has anyone experienced anything similar, and does anyone know of a solution?
Thanks in advance for your help!
