I can't log in to the itunes store to watch a movie I just downloaded. I was able to get in to buy the movie, and here to support-

I can't seem to access my account in itunes.
I went there to rent a movie, and started the download with no issue.
When I went back to play it, itunes asked for my apple ID and I logged in with my password.
Didn't work, called it an incorrect PW.
So, I followed the steps to change my password. Changed it, went back into itunes and still can't get in.
It isn't telling me that my passowrd is incorrect, it just accepts it, starts the load-bar for the itunes store, then pops the log-in window back up again asking for my PW.
I have made sure to close all browser windows and retry. I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes.
I can log in to the apple support site here with no trouble at all.
Why can't I get into my own account?
I have tried dozens of times now.
I know I am using the coreect and most recent PW.
I seem to have an issue every time I try to use itunes and it really isn't worth it anymore, but I paid for this movie and I want to be able to see it before being done with itunes.

To begin with, I would like to try to explain Apple's confusing nomenclature in regard to iCloud.
Apple have called the whole cloud thing iCloud, there are a number of features under the iCloud umbrella, some of which require their own login. iTunes is one of these, another is what Apple have unfortunately also called iCloud too.
You can use the same Apple ID (account) to login to both iCloud and iTunes, but you don't need to and often users will login to each service using a different ID.
The part that you need to remember is that the services available when you log into iCloud are completely different and unrelated to those when you log in to iTunes. Your iCloud login enables mail, contacts, calendars, find my phone, Back to My Mac, Documents & Data sharing and photostream, it does not affect any of your iTunes services.
To avoid confusion when discussing your problem, when I mention iCloud, I am referring to the services under the iCloud login, Whereas I will refer to the whole cloud thing as The Cloud.
To go back to your question; you cannot merge accounts, but perhaps using one account for iCloud and the other for iTunes will resolve the majority of the reasons you needed to merge to begin with.

I have an old and new mac and used transfer manager to put the old mac on the new so that i have both users on one computer but now I can only log in as the new and as guest so cant access my old computer docs on this newer mac. Help!

Hello I have just sold my old macbook and so transfered all my data to my newer macbook using transfer manager. This allowed my to login on the newer computer under either the old or new username so I could access both computers' data on my newer computer. Last night that worked but today I can only access my newer user and a guest user. Where did my old user name and all the data go after the transfer? Help please! I have to give the buyer the old computer today!

I am not familiar with "transfer manager." Did you perhaps use the Migration Assistant? What operating system is installed on your new computer?
If you look in your hard drive, in the Users folder, do you see a folder with the name from your user on your old computer?

That means you have to sign into/view your account and review you account and make sure you have a valid payment method specified in your account.

It's probably that your Keychain password is not the same as your login password. If you configured your computer to log you in automatically, you may not have used your login password in so long you forgot it.
There is no way to retrieve the "login" Keychain password, but you can reset the Keychain from the Preferences menu: select it in the Keychain Access menu and select "Reset My Default Keychain". This will create a new, empty Keychain but the old one will be saved should you ever remember its password.
The result of this is that you will have to supply passwords for everything that requires it, since without your Keychain they will no longer automatically fill themselves. However, once you supply them and store them in your new Keychain, they will be remembered.

You won't be able to change your rescue email address until you can answer your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

For the avoidance of doubt, you must have enough of a balance to pay for the rental in full, it won't take the balance and the difference by credit card. If you don't have enough of a balance it will all be taken by credit card.

yepp, I have done numerous tests today, skipped router and hard wired betwenn PC and appletv3. same problem.

It sounds like you are getting prompted to back up your device but you are unable to join your updated Wi-Fi setup. I recommend the troubleshooting from this article named:

What country are you in ? If you aren't in the US and the address on your account isn't in the US then try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your iPad and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select your country.
