I can't log onto Comcast because of my Safari browser

Greetings:
Comcast has updated its site and suddenly won't recognize my Safari browser 5.0.6. It has effectively shut out many of us with Safari browsers. Can I download a new browser? I have an iMac Leopard OS 10.5.8. Will the new browser conflict with my OS?

Although I prefer Firefox, I just used Safari to access Comcast to try it - it worked flawlessly and I'm not sure why you'd think that there are "many of us" not being able to access the Comcast website. There must be some glitch in your system; please follow rkaufmann's suggestion. Alternately, you can always use a different browser.

Hi Kate, have you perchance enabled restrictions on your device. (Settings > General > Restrictions)

Yes, but your iTunes library won't automatically show up on a different computer; putting it there is a separate process.

When I click on itunes store within itunes, the screen comes up blank. I'm using a macbook pro.

I have the same problem. Unfortunately, the troubleshooting link you added has the first step listed as "Verify that FaceTime is enabled in FaceTime > Preferences" which we (the original poster and I) can't do as our Preferences are greyed out. We can't click on them to verify anything.
In FaceTime itself it's verified my apple id (also double checked via the site) and then it says the email is "verified" but then it freezes and after a minute or so it says "Could not verify the email address. Please check your network connection and try again."
After checking the network connection, it still doesn't work. It's rather frustrating as it all worked fine until about a week or two ago.
Any help would be appreciated.

Can not log onto Yahoo Mail on BootCamp Win7. No problem on OSX

I can use latest version of FF to view my Yahoo Mail account on my MacPro with latest version of Snow Leopard but when I switch to my BootCamp Win7 I can not log onto Yahoo Mail. I don't get any error. It just comes back to the Yahoo Mail log on page. Win7 is current and FF is ver 3.6.13

I can't log onto my WiFi with my Touch

I'm using my Touch, AirPort Express and the remote app to control iTunes and play music through my stereo.
I like it but I'm having some problems. For some reason I can't log onto my own wifi with the touch when I have the wireless network secured, even when I type in the networks password. When I have the wireless security disabled it works fine but when I make the wireless connection secure I can't log on.
Does anybody know how I can solve this problem? I love the set up but it does me no good if I'm vulnerable to hackers. What am I doing wrong?
I don't know if it matters but I have a Linksys router.

Where are you trying to log in? You should be able to change your ID at http://appleid.apple.com - can you log in there?
Before you change your ID you should log out of the iTunes Store and on any devices which are logged into iCloud. Then once you've changed it you can log back in with the new ID. (Your iCloud synced data will disappear from the device when you do this but will reappear when you sign back in - give it time).
If you are unable to sign into http://appleid.apple.com you will need to contact Support. Go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com . Click' See all products and services', then 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID', then 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'. As the title says, I basically can't do anything right now, and BC support hasn't really been able to help me when I asked about this previously here in the forums (when the website was still active, which it now no longer is). When trying to log onto the Admin console all I get is: "ERROR: This site is currently unavailable. For more information please contact: (My name)." And yes, I'm the administrator. I created the website using Adobe Muse and published it using that. There has been no other party involved, except for Godaddy.com where I bought the domain.
Unlike I've been told it should be, I do not get and never got a form to fill in my payment details upon logging onto the admin console.
I also get and did get that exact above error message when trying to submit a support ticket, so the only place I've been able to ask at is here.
As I mentioned in my earlier post, I wasn't able to correct my credit card details when the card was no longer valid because I was on vacation, and somehow didn't manage to access that menu on mobile. A week later, I got another email, telling me that all admin services have been disabled until I pay the invoice. At this point I started getting the above error message. Now, another few weeks later the website itself has been deactivated - I still can't pay the invoice.
As I'm not very used to doing the whole setup of a website, I definitely don't want to spend that time again, but simply just want to pay the overdue invoice!

However, I can see that the site you may be referring to is set to bill the partner directly. Therefore you will need to log into the admin console of this site as the partner user, and you will then be prompted with a payment form to pay the outstanding invoice. It appears that [email protected] is the partner user assigned to this portal, so please try logging in as that user.

Can't log onto my sister's computer?

I'm on an iMac using Leopard and my sister is using latest version of Tiger on a Powerbook G4. When I go to Go/Network on her computer I'm able to find my server in her list and log onto my computer (it doesn't work using the Go/Connect to Server way). When I try to do the same on my Mac I can't connect to her computer.
How do I configure my computer to allow this. I see her name in my server list but it just doesn't seem to work. I'm missing something but don't know what.

Thanks, the sharing was already on her computer and her Firewall is off. When I select Go/Network I see her computer name listed on the side and in the window and when I click it the spinning circle says connecting but it never does. I tried Connect to Server and entered her number in and it said something about it not being operational at this time or problems with network and her computer was on. Then I go this weird message that said finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "afp://......" could not be read or written. Error code -36.
Hang on I just figured it out. I went to Go/Connect to server and just entered her local name this time and it worked. Guess it doesn't work using the ftp or the Go/Network way.
