I can't make back up copies

Since last week, i've been trying to make a back up copy using icloud, but it always keep showing an error during the process and it make just part of the complete copy.
Since then it keeps saying that i never have made a back up copy.
When i do the same thing with my ipad mini, it works just fine.
Can anyone help me?

Sorry, I am not sure what a Security Copy might be, but if you are asking about backups, the iPad and other iOS devices back up to iTunes on your computer.
Then, if you have the computer setup to backup to the Time Capsule, the backups of the iPad are copied over from the computer.
So, the iPad backs up indirectly to the Time Capsule.
The iPad can also back up directly to iCloud if you prefer.

A couple of things, first could you re-phrase your question? It reads like you want to backup your iMac to your MacBook, if so I'd strongly recommend against even trying to do this. I woudl recommend getting an external HD or better even 2 and creating a Time Machine Backup and on a second HD create a bootable clone.
The next thing please do not type in all caps, this is like shouting....we can "hear" you just fine without the shouting.

Satellite C660 - recovery partition is there but can I make back up discs?

Just a query
My GF turned on her laptop Satellite C660 series and it would not boot up, we tried to initiate the recovery sequence from the recovery partition but kept getting the error that was on boot up (the error was telling us a USB device had been unplugged).
As you probably guessed she never made the back-up discs when prompted, all I could think of was using a win 7 disc and reload that way then try and make the recovery discs after (I didn't activate)
so win 7 was installed nicely and all drivers sourced that was all last week.
Now for the crunch , the recovery partition is there can I now make the recovery discs and install from those , the win 7 I installed will soon require activation
Any ideas?

Recovery discs can be created with preinstalled Toshiba recovery disc creator and this tool is available when notebook is preinstalled with original OS from Toshiba. Additional download and usage is not possible.
As Terentino already wrote best thing you can do now is to order original recovery disc from Toshiba. It costs a bit but at least it is the best solution for you.
Next time if there is some problem, dont act before you post here. ;) I hope we can help you with some good and useful advice.

Can't make "Back to my mac" work for me.

I tried everything! Set routers on UPnP. Updated Firmware. Enabeld sharing. Logged out an in .Mac on all my Computers (same .Mac-account). Nothing! B2MM just won't work. Home mac doesn't show up on office mac and the other way round. I'll be thankfull for any suggestions.

I did some experimenting with the router settings. I could enable IP-Forward (or so. Difficulty is, my system-language and the one of the router are german - and still: some of the things listed in the menu sound rather chinese to me). For a short moment I could "see" and access my home-mac from the office-mac, but home-mac couldn't "see" office-mac. While the office-mac was connected to the home-mac (screen-sharing!), speed was extremly low. Then - as I was setting the office-router the same way as the home-router was - connection broke down and no further connection was possible, although office-mac still listed the home-mac in the finder. All further changes in the router-settings had no positiv effect. So i'm still trying to get this work for me. At least I had a little success. Still waiting for the netopia support to answer. But, if the speed i had, is what i will get, once this thing works the way it is suposted to, this service would not be very useful.

Imovie: Can't make external back-ups. Keep getting error code -36

Hope someone can help. I'm trying to make back-up copies of my movies by saving them to an external harddrive. However each movie gets to a certain stage and the stops with the message 'error code -36'. I've tried two different drives and both ubs and firewire connections but still no luck. What's really odd is that I had no problems until recently with the same drive. I suspect there is something wrong with the drivers for the ports - but how do you reinstall them? I only have the system back-up disc.
Any suggestions gratefully received!!

Its the Iomega Ultramax drive that Apple sells and comes pre-formatted. Also I dont think that's the problem as it used to work, but not any more. It's still possible to back-up photos - its just movies it doesnt like. it gets to the same clip each time and up pops the error code. Have checked the clip and its just video footage nothing more. Have reinstalled the operating system but has made no difference.

I just intalled version 7 of firefox and afterwards it told me it had disabled a security module for access to my bank account. The account and my company are in Brazil and I am in the US. I must have access to perform transactions. Had the program warned me I would not have "upgraded". To reinstall the security module I must be physically in Brazil because a code is text messaged to my local cell phone as one of the securty precautions and I am in the US and Europe for t3 to 4 weeks. I need to make a wire transfer during that time and cannot do so now. How can I go back to the old version and recover the bank access? Thank you.

I see that you are unable to scan with the Photosmart 1315.
What driver are you using?
The driver listed in the url below is a basic print driver that will allow you to print only.

Thank you for your time Woody. Recently the Mac seems to freeze a lot, seemingly due to a problem with the airport, especially if the computer is inactive for anything more than a few minutes. Then yesterday I suddenly couldn't send or receive messages so I got in touch with my server and they reconfigured the mail account. I can now receive messages but can't send them, always getting a timed out message when I try to send an email. I phoned the server again and they said it must be a problem with Mail as we tried sending a message online from the server's webpage and it worked fine, so they suggested I reinstall Mail. So hence my original question. Sorry for the rambling! I'm not very computer minded.

But you should be able to mount the sparsebundle and backup the major items if they are not damaged. You might also do a disk verify to see if the corruption can be repaired.
