What number did you ring ? You won't be able to update your rescue email address until you can answer 2 of your questions. You should be able to get them reset either by contacting iTunes Support or calling Apple.

Can Apple make an app or an update that makes you insert your password to turn your phone off? This can help deal with theft of iPhones because people take or find a iPhone, the first thing they do is turn the phone off.

Not sure this is a very useful thing. It would run down the battery. All a thief has to do is remove them SIM and restore the iphone to stop it from being tracked. -

How can I make the Airport work?
If there is a modem and not a router on the first floor, then the only possible way to get it to work would be an Ethernet cable connection between the modem and the AirPort Express device.

I had ATV first generation and for the purpose of fast movie converting to iTune I used to use a software ( VideoDrive) , since I purchased the 2nd generation still I can convert movies but streaming via APT is disabled. Please advise if there is any solution for this or a new softawre with high speed converting function.

Thank you for any help I appreciate it. Apple products came highly recomended to me, and I have been largely happy with my i phone, i pod, i pad mini and macbook. I admit I tunes always confused me, it is so hard to copy things back and forth from computer to device or vice versa. Most importantly my partner has given me a set of CD with audio books, legitimate CD's not burned copies, and I wish to play them on my i pod touch. I have donethis before with CD''s, however now I look i see all the songs and audio books from CD's have been removed from my device after synch with my itunes on my macbook??? and I can no longer cooy the new CDs on to there? i try put them in the library, and they show up but they are not in black printing like the other songs, they are a faded grey color. They play on the mac book in itunes, so i know they are THERE, they just wont go on my device??? What am I doing wrong and why did all my other ones turn to grey gaded text and go off my i pod.
Furthermore, i thank anyone who takes time to help me, it isnt your job, it is apple's job, but they want me to pay forty bucks for the priviledge of contacting them for help because my warranty expired !! They obviously did something with a new update of their i tunes, there should be NO DIFFICULTY copying audio books i legally own the CD for onto my i pod, why is it so impossible? I have asked my father, my brother, my flat mate, no one can work it out, so its not just that im an idiot.
People warned me that apple does things like this, makes stupid programs like i tunes, that make nothing but trouble so you have to pay to ask for help, and make it so you have to buy everything from their library not on CD. And if they did why shoudl i pay AGAIN when i paid for the CD already , i paid for the I pod, i legally own them both so why can i not put my own music on there??? It really makes me wonder why when i POD is so much more expensive why its so much more trouble and you have to pay to ask for help??? I really have enjoyed my macbook (After being windows used all my life), i love my i pad and i phone, and until now i adored my i pod, but if it's not going to let me listen to my own music and audio files i may as well throw it in the trash and go get a mp3 player, and warn everyone I know. I am a loyal apple customer, All my devices are apple and until now i have been happy and willing to pay more for a good product. But i tunes is ridiculous! It's already synched things i didnt want synched and deleted things i didn twant deleted, and thats fine i told myself maybe im too dumb and dont get it. buT i've been trying all week and asked other peopel and still cant get this simple task done, and after purchasing their devices and recommending them to my friends, its a slap in the face to say they wont even let me ask a support question without paying forty bucks! A very unhappy customer-- not just that i cant pplay my music and audio books, but that i cant even contact anyone for help without paying after i purcahsed four different products off them in the two years!The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.

I tried to change my rescue address, since it is outdated, and was not receiving any of the emails from Apple to this faulty address regarding resetting my security questions.
I cannot proceed in regaining full use of my account to make purchases if I do not reset my security questions, and I cannot reset them without receiving such an email, and I have no idea how to change my rescue email. The Apple ID support section of this site was unfortunately unhelpful and led me in circles.
Please help me to change my rescue email address!
If it helps, a few months ago I changed my primary account email, and my old primary address is my faulty rescue address now. It is no longer on my list of addresses but continues to show up as my rescue address.
An additional portion of my question: Is it possible, if I terminate one Apple ID, to move purchases made on that ID, to a new ID? So, I made my account a while ago before I had an iPhone so I can get music. The result of that I can't remember my security questions, and it tells me to send a rescue email an alert, but it doesn't show you how to get to that page. I lost my recent purchases again! My phone synced automatically and didn't save any new purchases. Not the 1st time this has happened!! I don't want to have to go into tabs in iTunes to tell it to remember to save my purchased iTunes items!! It should save them automatically. How can I get them back??? Also , please enable dropping music straight from a folder into iTunes playlist. iTunes is unbearable for me to use now!! I liked apple because you made things simple. Apple changed MobileMe to iCloud and then restricted iCloud to 10.7 users only unfortunately
If your machine is a 64 bit processor Intel Mac you can upgrade to 10.7 for $29, however a lot of your 10.5/10.6/Rosetta based software could cease to function, especially third party hardware drivers for printers, fax machines, all-in-ones, scanners etc.

Also depending how old the machine is, if it can accept 4GB of RAM (preferred), older video card, may not run 10.7 very well or stable.
My advice is to keep at 10.6.8, get a web based email service that's plaform/hardware neutral, forward your iPhone emails there. Gmail/Yahoo Mail for instance.
When your ready for new hardware and all new software, then buy a new machine.
If your going to go to 10.7 on your present hardware, I advise you clone 10.6.8 to a external drive first, that way you can c boot off the 10.6 disk erase the drive completely (necessary to remove hidden Lion Recovery Partition) and option boot off the 10.6.8 clone and reverse clone.

Thanks!The HT5312 page that you posted from has instructions for how to reset them i.e. if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down that page should give you a reset link.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset (these are user-to-user forums).
