I can't open a document that is visible under "Open Recent?"

It took me days to format an entire school newspaper on InDesign. I need to make edits before I send it into the publisher, but I can't open the .indd. I have the PDF, but I obviously cannot edit that in InDesign. The document can be seen in my recent documents, and the error message I receive when I click the file name is, "One or more file aliases cannot be resolved. Please verify that the original file or files still exist and try again." When I attempt to recover the file through Library-Cache-Indesign-Recovery (or something like that), it can't open the plug-in. Please help me, I need this by today!

Can you open the file using File > Open... and navigation to where you saved it? If it's saved on a network share, will it open if you copy it to the desktop?

Can't delete a document that is declared a record (because I can't undeclare record)

We use in-place records management with regular document libraries. Users declare/undeclare records all day long.
I came across something strange where a document that was declared a record cannot be deleted. Typically, I can just undeclare the document (through Compliance Details) and then delete the document. When I try to undeclare, I click the Undeclare link (and
then refresh), but the document does not actually undeclare (the item still shows up as a record). I also tried undeclaring/deleting via PowerShell, but I constantly get the error: "...locked read-only"
Thoughts on how to get rid of this document?

can reproduce what you describe, the key point is that:
when you declare a document as record, it is a HTTP post command to the SharePoint document library allitems.aspx page.
after you undeclare the record, you might want to check the status of the document by refreshing the page, it will prompt you message like:
To display the webpage again, the web browser needs to resend the information you've previously submitted. If you were making a purchase, you should click cancel to avoid a duplicate transaction. Otherwise, click Retry to display the webpage again.
So, if you click Retry, another HTTP post command is sent and the document is declared as record again.
The correct way is to navigate to another page and navigate back again, you will see the document undeclared status.

Have you upgraded your iCloud account to iCloud Drive by upgrading your mobile devices to iOS8? Then you can only access the documents by upgrading the Macs to iCloud drive as well. See this link: iCloud Drive FAQ

Hi, I was wondering if I can create a pdf document with Acrojs functionality in it from the sdk. I'm looking to see if I can create an application in C# that generates a pdf document with a form scripted with Acrojs. Is this possible? Thank you guys for your attention.

Where can I find a document after upgrading to the most recent OS on my iMac?

I upgraded my OS yesterday on my iMac and now I can't find the most recent version of an Excel document. I saved it as recently as yesterday when making changes but the document that shows up is from 9/10. Any ideas where I might find it? I've already done a search, etc.

Command-f (Apple-f) will open a find window-click to find everything modified yesterday.

It's not an apple solution but you can try MailRaider by 45 RPM software. I have not used it personally but it was one of the hits that came up when I did a google search for .msg on Mac.

Down loaded adobe x and now can not open recently viewed files

I downloaded the new version of adobe but I now can not open any files. I get a white screen and windows task manager says adobe in not responding.
Any suggestions. Thanks.

Adobe has magically started to run again. I had the program running with just a white screen and after about a 10 minute delay it seems to be ok.
I hope that is the end of the problem. I have no idea what the problem was, maybe it was doing an internal update , I am not a computer whiz.

Can't open recently imported photos in LR3

I can't open any of the recently imported photos in LR3? When I pull them up from my external hardrive it tells me the photo is allready imported and wont let me do it again. I can open older photo's just not recent ones. Please help.

Sounds like you are trying to Import the photos. As you have found out, this doesn't work if you have previously imported the photos.
Normally, you import the photos via File->Import once per photo (and ONCE only), and thereafter, when you want to work with or view these photos, you do NOT do an Import, you go straight to those photos in the Library Module. In this respect, Lightroom is very different than other photo editors you may have used in the past.

I can't help with the scan/print problem. You seem to have done everything I would try.
I don't know if maybe using a registry cleaner would help.

What printer do you have? Do other documents print? What happens when you try to print the document? Are you choosing the correct printer? Do you see a print queue icon appear in your Dock? Click on it - any errors or messages?

How can I print a document that has a file name followed by "(secured)"

I just received my new certificate of insurance for my vehicle by email and I tried to print it as I go to France on Saturday and need a copy. All that printed out was a blank template. I noticed that the file name is "certificate.pdf(SECURED)"
Is there any way I can print this please.

I'm having the same issue... Security preferecnes are set to allow printing but all I get is a blank page. I seem to remember some sort of work around on Mac's that involved saving a copy. FYI I'm using acrobat 9.5.2
You said there are a number of possibilities... can you give a couple options for me to try?

Can't see FI document that generated by BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST

I have used the "BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST" for posting a FI document and I could get the document number also generated. But I am not able to see the same document through the T code FB03. I have commit this bapi using BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT. Please tell me where i can view the document?

May be this is little late to answer .. but still it will be better for clarity.
First of all accouting document will be generated only after commit of the BAPI i.e. call BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT after BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST.
Second to check the accounting document number generated from BAPI
When filling the BAPI interface, leave the following fields empty if the FI document number is to be the reference document number for the posting:
o DOCUMENTHEADER: OBJ_TYPE, OBJ_KEY and OBJ_SYS
o DOCUMENTHEADER and ACCOUNTGL: AC_DOC_NO
o ACCOUNT_GL: STAT_CON, AC_DOC_NO
In the importing paramters
IMPORTING
obj_type = l_type
obj_key = l_key
obj_sys = l_sys
The first 10 character of l_key will contain the FI document number
