I have tried to open I tunes store and it just says cannot open I tunes store any suggestions.

If resetting doesn't help, tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings.
Restart the iPad by holding down the Sleep/Wake button until you see the red slider. Swipe the slider to the right to power off the iPad. Then hold down the Sleep/Wake button until you see the Apple logo.
Try again.

A window popped up asking me to type in my Apple ID password to get downloads, but it was showing an old username/email address. When I went to Settings/App Store to change it all I get is "Can not connect to iTunes". Any suggestions on what to do?
I tried turning off and back on, I was connected to my laptop for power and I was on WiFi.

Apparently when I updated my software this morning it logged me off my Wifi for some reason (even though the wifi icon at the top of the screen indicated it was using it), I logged back in and could connect.

I am new to all this and just got an Ipaod this week.I downloaded the Ipod store but takes 30 minutes to open.Then the screen disapprears.I went to the Apple store and the guy said I needed an update but I forgot what needed updated.Please help me get started.Thanks

I just installed Firefox on my Mac. When I try to open it I get an error stating "A copy of firefox is already open. Only one copy of firefox can be open at a time" Any suggestions?

I previously had Camino installed. I removed Camino. I also uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox but I'm still getting the same error. I have not been able to open Firefox successfully even once.

Usually it's because you are not making internet connection via wifi.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

The 11222s can sometimes be associated with LSP issues.

Try downloading another app - any free app - that seems to reset something and the apps may start working again. Try that first. If that doesnt work, try these steps

Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Close all apps. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I found the same issue... I can play other movies but no purchased ones. I can get the sound but the picture is scrambled. Does anyone know how to uninstall and reinstall iTunes? maybe that will work.

When I try to click to the iTunes Store, it opens to a blank page with the words "iTunes Store" embossed in gray in the middle of the page. That's it! NO GRAPHICS! I even tired the "Diagnostics" test. It shows that there is a disconnect with the internet and the iTunes Store. When I clicked the "Help" button next to it, it opened to a totally blank page. Nothing. I'm trying to sync an iPad 2 to iTunes on that computer. It shows on the computer that the apps have been synced, but they are not present on the iPad. Just as a note: the apps and info in the account has been loaded on the computer via 3Gs and then a 4S phone. Thank you for any and all help in this matter.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I trashed i tunes all together and reloaded everything. When I tried to access my shopping cart again it said I had to upgrade my itunes. So I did and now I can't access the shopping cart at all again. I think apple needs to fix it's upgrade! That is obviously the problem. I had a shopping cart full too but I had to scrap it and switch to the "buy now" option. Maybe someone will have a solution for us????

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Storeand turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.
