I can't open my Elements 12 download

I have a new laptop and want to transfer my Elements 12 over. After searching the site longer then i should have to, i found a link to download Elements 12. But when i go to run the file it ask me what to open it with. It is a 7Z Compressed Achieve file. Suggestions?

Right click the compressed file and there should be an option to extract it.

Just upgraded to Lion, can't open any pdf file downloaded from the internet that was fine with Leopard before. I just got a black screen when I clicked on a pdf icon on a given internet site, and same happened with several sites that I visited. How can I overcome this obstacle ?

Try two things with Safari not running:
1) Launch Adobe Reader, open its preferences, select the Internet category, and check the values under "Display PDF in browser using". If it's checked, try unchecking it.
2) Look in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins (at the top-level of your boot volume) for something names AdobePDFViewer.plugin. If you see such a file, try moving it to a folder named "Disabled Plug-Ins" (if such a folder exists) or onto the Desktop.
Then see how things work.

iOS apps will not open in iTunes. iTunes will sync your downloaded apps to your iOS devices (iPhone or iPad) only.
1. Login into your iTunes account
2. Authorize your Macbook Air
3. Download all your purchased apps to iTunes
4. Sync with your iPhone.

LibreOffice will not run Excel macros (read below) without some work, it's not a good solution, I also do not think that the free online version of MS Office (comes with OneDrive) has VBA, so no macros there either.
Bottom line is if you want to run macros from Excel, you'll need Excel. Preferably the Windows version (the Mac version may be better than Pages, but it's a toy in comparison to the real Excel)
Macros in Microsoft Office and LibreOffice
With a few exceptions, Microsoft Office and LibreOffice cannot run the same macro code. Microsoft Office uses VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) code, and LibreOffice uses Basic code based on the LibreOffice API (Application Program Interface) environment. Although the programming language is the same, the objects and methods are different.
The most recent versions of LibreOffice can run some Excel Visual Basic scripts if you enable this feature at LibreOffice - PreferencesTools - Options - Load/Save - VBA Properties.
If you use macros in one of the applications and want to use the same functionality in the other application, you must edit the macros. LibreOffice can load the macros that are contained within Microsoft Office files and you can then view and edit the macro code in the LibreOffice Basic IDE editor.
You can choose to preserve or delete VBA macros
Open a Microsoft Office document that contains VBA macro code. Change only the normal contents (text, cells, graphics), and do not edit the macros. Save the document as a Microsoft Office file type. Open the file in Microsoft Office, and the VBA macros will run as before.
You may delete the VBA macros from the Microsoft Office file on loading or on saving.
Choose Tools - Options - Load/Save - VBA Properties to set the VBA macro handling of LibreOffice.

Do you have enough free space on your iPad for it to run efficiently? With iOS 8 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free. For a 16 GB device that is 2.4-3.2 GB free. For a 32 GB device that is 4.8-6.4 GB free. For a 64 GB device that is 9.6-12.8 GB free.
Try quitting all apps and then reset the iPad. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Do this for all apps that appear there. Then reset the iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.

I can't open anything in my Downloads list. I've tried resetting firefox and I've also tried everything in your article "What to do if you can't download or save files" but nothing helps. I tried to upgrade to the latest firefox to see if this helps but once I've hit the Download button, 1 minute later it appears in my downloads list and... same issue... I can't open it to run it! It's like it's crashed, because no amount of clicking on a download will activate anything. It seems like the Downloads list is dead! Also, (and I think this is linked), I cannot save web pages. I go though the motions and it looks like it's doing the right thing but the pages don't save - they just disappear into the ether! I'm on Windows Vista and have been downloading things happily for years, but suddenly this problem has occured and I've run out of ideas now... Please help!

Try resetting the pse 2 preferences and see if that clears things up.

Keep holding the keys down until you get a dialog asking if you want to Delete the Adobe Photoshop Elements Settings File

I do not recommend bookmarking any financial web sites. Manually type the address carefully is the best security practice. Never store passwords on your system unless they are encrypted with a strong password. Or you are telling the "bad guys" way too much if your system becomes compromised.

I can't open Premiere elements 13.

I bought it and installed it, but when I click on it nothing happens, even if I try to open it as an administrator

My PC a HP windows 7 Home Prem. does not seem to like Adobe Prem Elements or Elements 13. I think its the software that has a lot of issues.
I did gett it running for a short time (but slow) when I restarted the PC in the morning it could not find the 'path'.
Adobe were no help. Looks like I wasted my money.
