Numbers can't open excel files that requires a password

How can I open an excel file that requires a password? I recently purchased the 'Numbers' program and I get an error message saying that Numbers cannot open an encrypted file. However, I can open and view the file (but not edit).
Apple needs to fix this!
Any suggestions on how to open a password protected file using Numbers?

I compared the beginning of your file to the beginning of two XL ones which are on my machine (in fact, they are files created with openOffice).
You may see that there are many differences.
They may explain the different behaviour.
If someone is able to drive Excel with an AppleScript,
he may write a script opening your document in Excel,
saving it
opening the newly saved file in Numbers.
As I don't own Excel, I ignore its required syntax so I can't write a clean script.
If the XL's syntax is the same than the Numbers one, this quick and dirty one may do the trick :

When i open the ipad,it said i need to put my hotmail password and then can go in. But i forgot my password,what can i do to open my ipad.

You can only import photos from the camera roll into the computer. Is that the album that you are seeing?
Any albums that you create on the device itself (the iPad that is) cannot be transferred to your computer. iPad created albums do not contain copies of your photos but merely pointers to those photos so they do not actually exist in those albums.

Ok i have tried to restore it 3 time and this is what happens every time,
- i put it into recovery mode and click restore button
-it checks for softward update: iOS 4.2 Software Update, i agree to the update
-it says downloading 1 item ipod update (60 min. remaining) blablabla it will restore ipod after update is done
i wait for it to update
-at (51 min. remaining) for the ipod sotware update, i think it goes out of recovery mode b/c then itunes tells me" itunes couldn't connect to ipod b/c it is locked you must enter your passcode before it can be used w/ itunes" also my screen has change to the charging battery instead of the usb cord and music tone screen
-Then itunes tells me "there was a problem downloading the software for the ipod "iPod" (wierd it reconized my ipod "name" before) An unknown error occurded(9006) make sure your network setting are correct and your netowrk connetion is active, or try again later"
every thing is correct and active with my network i dont know y it tellls me this? What do i do now? Can a skip the software update ?

Connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes. Place the iPod in Recovery mode if necessary to allow the restore.

Can't Open Adobe Reader XI Without a Password

I received an Adobe Reader XI document from a utility company that I cannot open without a Password. The message I receive is: The password is incorrect. Please make sure that Caps Lock is not on by mistake, and try again”. However, I’ve tried my Adobe password, and the password I use to access my utility account from the company that send the PDF and neither work. I’m at a loss. Anyone with advice? I would certainly appreciate it.

The PDF you are trying to access seems to be encrypted .
I would suggest you to follow the error message you are receiving .Please make sure the password you are typing in is correct .
You could verify the password with the person who created and encrypted the PDF .The password used here would be different from your account' password .
The best option would be connect the the creator of the PDF or if there are any instructions given along with the PDF on how to access it ,please refer that .
Adobe would not be of much help in this case .

I recently accepted an update, afterwards i went to use my iphone and noticed the screen was too magnified, can not swipe to enter pass-code, everything is grossly magnified. What can I do?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you’re running into an issue unlocking your iPhone 4s because the screen is magnified. Try disabling the Zoom feature as shown in the article linked below.

How can update apps when I'v forgot my password ?

I have about 50 apps on my Iphone, I'v bought them form my Iphones (I had 3 and 3S and 4). I'v bougth them with an apple ID and I'v never have problem to sync with my new phones. But now I forget my password for this ID and I couldn't fixed it, because I forget all my register data: my old e-mail adress, and I don't know how don't match my birth date, so I can't use this ID, whether I'v used my credit card for ages. I made a new Apple ID with the same credit card, and I'd have liked to update my apps, but I couldn't do it because this apps was bought with my old ID. So Can I able to update my apps somehow or I have to buy again them just because I forget my old registration datas?

You shall have to purchase them again. The only way to update them is with the Apple ID that bought them. Apple will not combine Apple IDs.

i bought a appl ipad. i forget my password.
now my ipad said (ipad is disabled connect to itunes)

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

Can't open APP , ID wont recognise my password and says i bought app on another comp'

this is the message i get when i try to open the app -
When i attempt to sign in , it wont recognise my password . In frustration i changed my password (which woks fine here) tho when i type it into the sign in screen i get an unknown error mesage .
Ive been using the great photo app only last week and i definately purchased it on this computer .

I totally agree! I have just managed to downgrade to 5.1.1 again through this link (might get pulled):

What I did was :
1. Make sure I was on itunes 10..6.3.25
2. Dowloaded 5.1.1 from the link
3. Connected my phone to itunes
4. Held the shift key down and then pressed 'update'
5. Found the 5.1.1 download and clicked open.
6. Then let it do its work.
7. I then had to restore my phone from the back up I made before I upgraded to 6. It offered icloud or computer and I chose computer.
8. just let it run - it then asked me for a new passcode and then went on to download all my apps/music/photos etc.
I am now back with google maps working as well as youtube. Everything is as it was
Hope this helps but don't blame me if you have problems - maybe I have been lucky.

If you cannot remember the passcode for the Screen Lock, you will need to Restore the device...
1) Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and Restore...
