My Skype I cannot Open it every time I click its disappear emedietly... My Skype was Appear/desappear..hoping anyone could help there..

I can't open my Skype Account

When I open up my Skype Account, it says I can't open it/use it unless I download the new version 6.0.0.2946. It says I must download and install it in order for me to use it. This has never happened before and I'm pretty sure it's a scam. What do I so? I really can't open my account with this **bleep** block there. Help! Gracias.

Yes, that is correct. The alternative is to quit all applications prior to logging out. Lion will then have a chance to remove the saved states.

Can't open Skype in Surface Pro Tablet

Skype works great on my desktop PC. But I have a problem with my Surface Pro Tablet. There is a Skype App and I can log on to my account.
The Problem:
There is a lot of stuff in the App that I don’t care about, but I don’t see where I can open the Skype page where my contacts are and make calls.

As best as I can remember I quit trying to use the App, but went directly to Skype* and logged on to my account and then was able to see my regular Skype page. Hope that helps.

Can't open Skype at all on Macbook Pro

I have been struggling with Skype for a long time on my Macbook Pro and wondered if anyone has any advice. When I try to open the application, it crashes immediately before I can even log in. This has been the behaviour for several versions of Skype now, so I am starting to think there is something on my machine which conflicts with it and the problem will not be solved by waiting for a future release of Skype.
Currently it is failing with version 6.0.60.2496 of Skype (downloaded today) on a MacBook Pro running Mac OS 10.8.2. The machine is a 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4 GB of RAM, purchased in 2009. Exactly the same problem occurred in Lion, before I upgraded to Mountain Lion.
I have tried a number of steps to solve the problem, including:
* Removing the /skype folder from /Library/Application Support and the preference file from Preferences, uninstalling Skype, restarting in Safe Mode, downloading it again, installing and trying to open it
* Changing the settings in Text to Speech to a different voice
* Downloading an older version of Skype and trying to run that
Everything crashes instantly every time and I am unable to use Skype at all.
Skype support have told me there's nothing further they can suggest and they think it may be a conflict with my System fonts, but I am desperate for any advice from someone who has encountered (and hopefully solved!) a similar problem.

You'll need to save it to a different format to use it on a Mac. If you can still open them on the HP, that would probably be the easiest. Save them as a Mac compatible format such as .mpg. If that doesn't work, here is a converter you can try: http://www.squared5.com/

Can't open links in Skype, WLM nor saved HTML (Firefox won't respond)

"I can't open links in Skype chat windows when having a Firefox session running in the background, it just flashes the window borders. If i close Firefox and leftclick on the links Firefox automatically opens the link but not while having a session running in the background. I see there is no answer for the problem that guy have had and I have the same problem - links from skype and from windows live mail won't open and there's more - FF doesn't open html files that are saved to pc, even thou I just saved em, but when I click on em happens nothing and when I rightclick and choose open with FF happens nothing.
It worked for couple of weeks with no problem and suddenly today links just make skype flash exactly as in christianhbergs description and in windows live mail they are becoming purple but firefox doesn't react.
as soon as I make IE as my default - links are working, but not with firefox.
So I assume the problem is in firefox (not in skype or WLM nor in Win8)
(running Win8 and FF25.0)
And none of the solutions you gave us in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/961242#answer-497345 work.

After sinc-ing my ipod touch with my MacBok Pro, Skype icon on ipod touch does not open to Skype communication community service. I tried to download Skype from Apps Store using itunes, but received message that i need iOS 4.3...What should i do? how can i download iOS 4.3 - where can I find it?

- If you have a 2G iPod those can ony go to 4.2.1 so the crrent verion of Skype will not install.
- Do y have a version of Skyupe on your computer or in a computer backup? If yu do they you can delete the on the iPod and reinstall the app vis syncing with iTunes.
- If you do not have a copy, then delete the an Skype from iTunes on your computer and transfer iTune spurchases to the computer. this copy the Skhpe app to the computer/iTunes
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
- Then delete the App from the iPod and sync the app back to the iPod.
- Then try try the following:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.

The download worked better with Firefox not sure why. At the bottom of the page after the captcha>> slow down load is the Free link, it took about 4 minutes to download on my test.

I am not sure which one of the steps should I follow. I have tried the reset, and didn't work. What else should I try?Basically when I try to open fb,whatsapp and Skype the page opens for less then a second and then disappears.

The system extension can´t be used

I have the external disk in technical service, they will try to repair it. It was in MacPlus (registrered) format, configured in Raid 0 ( two hard disk enclosed together and working as one). Now, to recaptured the tapes for the project I have purchase another hard disk ( 1 T and configured it with MacPlus (registrered) format), this new hard disk is well detected by my computer.
