I can't open photos that have been messaged to me.
When friends send me picture messages, I can see the smaller image.. when I tap on the photo to view it larger, nothing happens. I've also had problems with pictures and videos not saving to my Camera Roll. This is a brand new issue, but it is a bit annoying, so a quick fix would be appreciated!
The system doesn't work across countries. Your friend in China cannot gift you content in the France store and if you have a french account, you cannot redeem content from the China store.
Send the redeem codes back to her and she can redeem them for herself or give them to a local friend with an account in the China store.

I did copy it to my desktop, but it still won't let me open it. I think the file on the disc might be corrupt or something like that though the cd itself checks out fine as far as viruses go. I was able to verify the disc, but that's about it. My husband tried it on his iMac and we have the same issue. It's unzipping the folder, but won't let us open the folder on both the Mac Book Pro or the iMac by double clicking, going to file/open or right clicking. It just keeps saying the same message as I posted above. I think I'm just going to have the client put the pictures on either a memory card or a USB memory stick so she won't have to compress the files for zipping purposes. It's been too frustrating trying to open this folder on this cd she gave me. She said she created/zipped the cd on her Mac Book Pro but it sure won't open on mine.

If photos were synced from your computer then they can't be deleted directly on the iPad, you will need to remove/de-select them from where you synced it from on your computer and re-sync.

ThanksIF you backed up the phone prior to deleting the photos, you may be ableto restore them using your backup. If you had photo stream turned on, they may be in your photo stream.

I have been saving photos that have been emailed to me on my ipad. They show up in the camera roll, but when I open the camera roll the thumbprints are jumbled and blurred and frozen. I can't get out of there unless I shut my ipad down and restart it. I can use other parts of my ipad ,but my camera roll remains frozen....help!
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost. -
I Have an iPhone 5S and I can't open photos that emailed to me. It just says Zip archive when I click on the JPG file to download it. Help?
whoever is emailing you the photos is sending them as a .zip file not a .jpg most likely because there is more than one photo. unfortunately iPhone does not have a .zip file reader so whoever is emailing the photos has to make sure they are not zip ing them and resend them as .jpg files. (usually gmail tries to convert several images into .zip files)

Photos than came from computer will need to be uncheck on computer then do a sync to delete.
You can only delete photos from your Camera Roll directly. -
I cannot re-open files that have been saved in Numbers version09 - it states "You need a newer version of numbers to open this document". This is the latest version & also the one I have created/saved???

You may delete Numbers 08 if you wish, but some folks like keeping it around. Close all your Numbers docs and Quit the Numbers app, and the other Numbers app if necessary.Then click the Numbers icon on your doc. Then select Numbers > About Numbers, and in the window that pops up, see which version it is. If the Dock icon started Numbers 08, you can cure that by dragging that icon off the Dock and letting it go in a puff of virtual smoke.
Now, to put the Numbers 09 icon on the Dock, double-click one of those known Numbers 09 documents so that Numbers 09 starts up. Verify by checkig Numbers > about Numbers.
Now click and hold the Numbers Dock icon and select the Option for Keep in Dock.

How do I save photos that have been synced to my Ipad2, so that they do not get deleted when I sync with a different photo foder on my computer (Pc win7).
Place that first folder of photos that you synced to the iPad within the main folder of photos that you sync from and select them to sync again. You can place any number of subfolders within the main folder that you sync from and select those folders to sync. Just "tick"(select) the folders in the photos tab in iTunes.

Photos that have been deleted to aperture trash cannot be viewed. Any assistance is welcome in fixing this bug. The showing all files option is selected in the filter. System is 10.8.4. Aperture version 3.4.5. Used to be able to view the files then all of a sudden they have stop appearing. Once the aperture trash is emptied the files can be viewed in the system trash. Becomes quite annoying if you want to review the aperture trash files before deletion.

In the most recent version I cannot get this trick to work, however. But try it anyway, maybe it is just my macthat has an issue.
Did this happen directly after the update? Where is your library located, on an external or an internal drive? Are your originals managed or referenced?
I'd try next to check, if this is caused by the library, by creating a small test library and trying to trash pictures there. If it works well in a new library try to repair the database and the permissions on your regular library. See:

Is it possible to retrieve 1000 photos that have been photostreamed thru to my mac from my daughter in Europe but not saved on my mac. These same photos have been deleted from my daughters ipad in Europe ?
If the photos have been deleted from Photo Stream, then they are gone unless they have been saved elsewhere. Are they not in the Camera Roll of the iOS device they were taken on?
Photo Stream is not a permanent storage solution. It stores up to the last 1000 photos taken on an iOS device for a maximum of 30 days. -

Some phones use a "Trash Folder" system so you can retreive deleted emails within a certain window of time. I am not sure on the Bionic.
Also you could possibly retreive your mail directly from your email providers server. Example I use charter email, so I would contact charter communications, gmail is Google so you would contact Google, etc.

You posted this in the BlackBerry space, so I am assuming you have a BlackBerry of some sort... if you've used desktop manager or BB Protect or another backup application, then you can retrieve contacts from the most recent backup.
Otherwise, you may be out of luck, unless their information is in your recent call list, or recent texts.
I use BB Protect to make automatic backups of my data each week, (with no interaction needed by me, it just happens) so if something goes crazy, I have, at most, a week's worth of new stuff to enter. BB Desktop manager also makes backups, manually - you need to connect the phone to your computer via USB and make a backup, or restore from a backup. -

Yest it will restore photos deleted from yur iOd probvide that the photos were taken before the the last synce/backyp was made. Make syre yu have automatic syncing turned off (Itunes>Preference>Devices>Check the box that says prevent auto syncing when connected). Otherwise when connected, a backup that reflects the deleted photos will be made and will replace the previous backup.
