I can't open some videos,etc. as these sites ask for flash player and I can't load it.
This has been a problem ever since I upgraded the system to Mountain Lion.
The message I receive when I try to install Flash Player is as follows:
"You can't open the application 'flashplayer 10 ax debug 4.exe' because Microsoft Windows
applications are not supported on OS X.

It's not, although macupdate & probably other third party sites still show the old one & offer the 11.8.800.88 beta alongside.

Ok every son gneeds artist and album, but why in my 20 G photo Ipod I can see the songs searching via artist without any problem. And why in the new 30G video Ipod it only happens with some artists, cause for example I have 40 u2 songs, some with album name and some not, and all of them appear searching via artist. But with another artist, for example def leppard, I have 15 songs (some with album name, and some not) and searching via artist I can see only the ones in some particular album, and others that also have album name dont appear unless I look for them via song -

Apple no longer includes Flash with the new Macs. So, if you run into things that require Flash you must, if you want to view them, go to the Adobe site and download the Flashplayer as Paul_31 suggested.

Sounds like some of those may be Pages '08 files.
You need to open and resave those from Pages '09.

I enrolled in weight watchers online only to find out that I can't access some of the tools I need because I need adobe flash player is there anything I can do. I've already paid for the service!!!!
Send a stiff email to Weight Watchers to suggest they need to remove their software videos from the FAT and BLOATED Flash container and trim down to HTML5 in the future if they want to stay on program.
In the mean time you are going to have to employ work arrounds with your iPad.
Try the Skyfire browser app, This can convert some flash content remotely into a viewable format playable by Quicktime on your iPad.
Its not however guaranteed to work on DRM protected material and its very likely these Weight Watchers videos are so protected I am afraid to say.
Other apps such as iSwiffer attempt streaming of flash but are slowed due to band width.
You could also use a VNC type app such a Splashtop to stream direct from your PC to your IPad however sound is not guarranted to work with these apps.
Finally the most satisfactory solution at the moment plunk yourself down in front of a PC/Mac or Linux box and watch the flash their. -

Why is Acrobat X Pro (CS6, Windows 7) asking for Flash Player when trying to play a video?
I created an interactive PDF from InDesign that includes f4v and mp4 videos. When I click on them to activate I get this message: "To view the Flash® technology content in this PDF file, please install the required version of Flash Player." I checked the version of Flash player on both of my computers and they both have the latest. And, they both worked when tested.
So, what the heck's going on here?Well, it sounds like Flash Player is installed and running, though I think you might have transposed a couple numbers (it should be 10,3,183,7). Are you having problems with any other FB games? Have you posted on the game's forums to see if any other user has encountered issues recently?

i bought this 3 months ago didn't open it or anything I know big idiot but it was for my daughters bday today she opens it and stuck to the back of it was a yellow sticker saying display model. What..... Ok so we charge it she can't wait to download her little grs and play and nope it won't let me download any apps or games so I tried to sync it with her brothers and no it won't so I google it to find out how to reset to factory settings looked so easy should have known I go to settings then general and yep no reset option so I try the iTunes thing with the laptop nope didn't work I am ready to try the hammer you know where you continually beat the darn thing till you feel better ugh please any suggestions would be so appreciated
You should be able to force it into recovery mode and restore it. Provided, that is, that it's not also activation locked. If there's an iCloud account set up on it with Find my iPod enabled, you're pretty much hosed.
You may want to try contacting Amazon to see if you can return it. Was it actually sold by Amazon, or by a 3rd party? Amazon is getting to be as bad as eBay any more with all the 3rd party sellers.
Amazon is NOT an authorized source for any Apple products. What you got was, as you have already figured out, a demo model. It was probably either liquidated along with the rest of the inventory from a brick and mortar retailer that went bust or possibly even stolen. -
How can I transfer a photo to Facebook..facebook asks for a filename and I don't know it
Facebook's browse for photo import requires a filename. I find my Ipod and double-click on photo folders, but can't find a file name.
Also all the the pictures, including the one I want to import that are stored in my ipod do not show up in the folder.
Help!Are you using the FaceBook app?
Where are the photos stored on the iPod?
