I can't open the app even after reinstalation !

As I said previously, I can't open it even after switched off the iPad, restarted the app and redownloaded it...
When I launch it, a grey screen appears and then the app crash ...
Help me please !

The problems mostly happen when I am using X-Y compare in Library mode. It shows black rectancles over the tops of the sections that contain the photos and these flash. They aren't always the same size, but are only on the top of the section - never big enough to completely cover the photos. Then I get anywhere from one to about four or five extra windows stacked on top of the Lightroom Icon at the bottom of my screen (I use Windows 8) opening and closing, though there isn't enough time for me to click on them and read them because my computer gets so slow that my mouse actin is delayed by a few seconds. And, to shut Lightroom down, I need to use Windows task manager because clicking on the little red box with the X in the upper right corner accomplishes nothing. Lightroom crashed and now I can't open the catalog - even after deleting the lock file.

Lightrooms crashed, which is a common occurrance. But, this last time was different. After I restarted it my catalog was not linked and all my settings were gone. I tried opening the catalog through the file menu, but absolutely nothing happens. I tried going to the folder and clicking on it but this only opens lightroom with no catalog. After having scanned this forum I found that I need to delete the .lock file, but after doing that the same things happen. Any suggestions on how to open my catalog? Will reinstalling Lightroom help?

Aperture is asking to upgrade library every time I open the application, even after it has already been upgraded. I just ran the update and it is still not fixed. What can I do???

How do you try to start the repair dialogue? By starting Aperture or by opening the Library?
If you not already have tried it with directly opening the library:
reveal your Aperture Library in the Finder
Whilst holding down Command(⌘)- option (⌥) double click on the Aperture Library.
Select "repair library" from the dialogue.
What about Frank Caggiano's questions above?
It would be really helpful to know, how many libraries you have, and if this problem is restricted to one of them.

• I thank you all each and every person, ladies and gentleman who are connected with Mozilla Firefox in any manner and who have contributed for its development and any other who is in any way even concerned and every well wisher of Mozilla. My good wishes for all of them and for their work that it has become so popular and every one of them has laboured selflessly and without any money angle for that and that is the best thing. Such selfless work must be appreciated by each and all.
• My earlier suggestion for accepting cheques from those who like me do not have any cr. card has still not been accepted.
• You please incorporate features from other good programmes as these are still not there in FireFox and I am using only this since when I first installed it and I do not intend to use any other but these features as I remember were available few years back are still not there in Mozilla so today there should be many more features which can be incorporated in Firefox.
• When the connection is on but not opened i.e. the connection has been switched on but not opened i.e. the modem lights are on and not off then if I go back to a page opened then the Firefox shows loading problem but if I switch off the modem then I can access that very same page. This should be taken care of so that even if I switch on the modem but the connection is not on even then I should be able to see the page 1 or 2 or many pages backwards.
• Then I can not open the history even of today and see that page whereas earlier I could click any history page and it showed even if it was 5 days old (which is my setting) and I have not changed any setting.
• I also thank the all add-on creators because I have installed very few but even then these are very useful.
• I would also suggest that you incorporate these add-ons in the FireFox itself for example I suggested many moons back that let there be a system of any number of tabs being opened (and a few more suggestions) and it is available as add –on in tab mix plus which I have now installed.
• I also request to everyone concerned to give his ideas as to what other features can be incorporated in Firefox and these suggestions be on your website and after a certain number of well wishers and users select the idea you please either develop it yourselves or any well wisher can do it and then it can be incorporated in the Firefox.
• I also give you my suggestion which is not available presently to my knowledge in the browser or add-ons this is that if I move a window in tab mix plus then it is always in a window for each tab but instead of that my suggestion is that I should be able to move any no. of tabs or any other tab to one particular window only and that too in any manner I like in any sequence like at a particular No. of tab say 15th etc.
• I also feel presently having some problem that when I shut down the computer after save and quit pages that are there are not reopened. Loading problem in those pages appears I do not know the reason but Firefox should be able to show all the last page/pages/window/windows I was perusing after I saved and quit.

Please provide more details about your computer along with the graphics card. Also, A log file might help identify the cause of the crash. Please right-click 'My Computer', select "Manage," look under 'Event Viewer->Windows Logs->Application' to see if there's an event there from Premiere Pro. If so, copy the contents of that log and paste them here.

Hi there, could someone help me here please - I can't open the iTune store after I updated my iphone 4 to iOS 7. The problem occurred about 5 days later after the upgrade. There are no error messages. As I tap on the icon it opens just for a fraction of a moment and then goes off and back to the main screen. Other apps are working just fine. I tried following the troubleshooting steps as suggested by apple support, but that didn't help unfortunately...

Use iTune to update your apps.
Check for Updates (bottom right) in iTune. When download is completed, sync to iPad.

Try downloading another app - any free app - that seems to reset something and the apps may start working again. Try that first. If that doesnt work, try these steps
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Close all apps. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. First try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists. If it does then make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:

User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).

I was asked to download the iOS on my ipad3 which then completed automatically but instead iTune with a plug-in icon came on the screen. SInce then I can't operate the ipad even after I switch it off and on again. The icon just monopolize the screen.

It sounds like you might have accidently copied Chess over from an Intel Mac, or an Intel Mac's installer DVD. The architecture typically means it is designed uniquely for either Intel or PowerPC. Be sure to extract Chess from the 10.5 Retail installer disc that looks like * and not any other disk. http://www.charlessoft.com/ 's Pacifist lets you extract individual applications from installers without having to reinstall everything.

You can't. Those apps are for iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads, and won't run on a computer. For Mac apps, launch the App Store application.

After OSX Mavericks update I now can't open the App store

Upgraded to the new Mavericks OS however when i try to open the App store as well as a few other apps fail to load at all.

If you haven't solved this yet, try re-installing the OS. If you have solved it, please share how you fixed it.
Do a backup. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair and Repair Permissions. Then reinstall the OS.
