I just now tested the website both in mobile and desktop mode, on my firefox for my android device. It seems to be working fine . No problems. If you provide your device name will try testing over the same and get back to you . Till then you can reinstall firefox Android. It might work!

• Can't open this website ending with aspx

I'm unable to open http://forums.uship.com/Default.aspx.
I thought it was a conflict with Safari and the aspx extension, so I called the site's customer service. The rep said she opened it in Safari, and it loaded fine. When I try, it never finishes loading, doesn't even get started, then finally gives me the +Safari can’t open the page+ message.
I searched Google and these forums, but didn't find an answer. Did find comments saying aspx can't be opened in Safari, but that's not true because this site opens fine http://www.usairways.com/default.aspx.
Are you able to open http://forums.uship.com/Default.aspx?

No that's how I got to the other link.
Clicking http://forums.uship.com opens (or tries to open) the http://forums.uship.com/Default.aspx page.
Thanks for trying, though. Maybe someone knowledgable in web design will submit an answer, although from what I saw in other threads, there hasn't been a definitive answer yet.

Try changing your browser agent using the Developer menu your browser preference can enable.
If that doesn't work, complain to your college dean that the website violates accessibility laws, and should follow http://www.w3.org worldwide conventions to ensure accessibility.  Do not enter any personal information if you are forced to use Windows to browse the website, as it may be insecure.

• I have stopped too many scripts in Firefox and I can't open any websites in Firefox anymore. I just get blank pages. What do I do now?

3 websites gave me this message:- "A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete." I chose to stop the script each time. However I have stopped too many scripts in Firefox and I can't open any website in Firefox anymore. I just get blank pages. What do I do now?

Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a Clean reinstall. This means you remove Firefox and any leftover program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps one by one:
#Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
#After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu) and confirm all upcoming messages.
#Now, uninstall Firefox by following the steps mentioned in the Uninstall Firefox article.
IMPORTANT: On Windows, the uninstaller has the option to remove your personal data and settings. Make sure that you do not check this option; otherwise all of your bookmarks, passwords, extensions, user customizations and other Firefox user profile data will be removed from your computer.
After uninstalling Firefox on Windows, delete the "Mozilla Firefox" program folder, located by default in one of these locations:
* (On 32-bit Windows) C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
* (On 64-bit Windows) C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
#Go to the Windows Start menu and click on "Computer".
#In the Explorer window that opens, double click Local Disk (C:) to open the C:\ drive.
#Find the "Program Files (x86)" folder or "Program Files" folder.
#* On 32-bit Windows, double-click the Program Files folder to open it.
#* On 64-bit Windows, you will see a "Program Files (x86)" folder AND a "Program Files" folder. Open the Program Files (x86) folder.
#Look for a Mozilla Firefox folder. If you find one, right-click it and select Delete and confirm that you want to move the folder to the Recycle Bin.
Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
#Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
#Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.

• Can't open any website

I can't open any website using Firefox. I tried for 4 hours this morning, just blank, or "loading" (but nothing actually loaded). Finally got google partially open but not completely. Shut down my computer about 50 times, had my internet provider check my DSL connection (working "really fast" they said), 12 hours later, still can't open a damned thing. Upgraded to 3.6.13, still nothing. Finally got Safari open (which i've never used successfully on my emac), and it's super fast. I give up on Firefox.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
* Microsoft Safety Scanner
* MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
* TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

• I can't open a website on my mac book pro, but can open it on mac bookair

i can't open a website on mac book pro, but can open it on mac book air

Restart the router. If there's no change, see below.
Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

• Why I can not open curtain websites?

why I can not open curtain websites? Anyone else have this problem?

Probably sites about PCs - you know, the ones that cover Windows.
Seriously, what Web sites can't you open?

• Safari can't open Google website

For the last couple of days, my default search engine (www.google.com) was not searching, and giving me following error:
Safari can’t open the page “http://www.google.com/” because Safari can’t connect to the server “www.google.com”.
I went through pages in support about problems with third-party plugins. I've tried un-checking "Enable plug-ins"; Resetting Safari; Emptying Cache; Re-starting Safari and computer, nothing has worked. Other search engines are working e.g. bing, yahoo. I can't open any of google websites from .com or .co.uk or gmail. I've just tried using Firefox and it also can't open google websites.
I'm using Safari 5.0.3 (5533.19.4) on a Mac OS X 10.5.8.
I had Glims installed on my machine, which I just un-installed it; re-started; re-set safari, but still can't open google website.
As far other websites are concern, so far all the websites which are in frequent use can open. Is there problem with Google, Safari/Firefox (browser) or my mac (virus or something)?
Thanks a lot everyone.
PS: Oh yes. I got update on Safari yesterday, is that causing any issues?

I had the same problem too.
I searched by using bing.com (fortunately MS search engin has helped me )
I found a archived post https://discussions.apple.com/message/11061084#11061084
I did what Carolyn said and I also checked the PeerGuardian app
but I don't think it's because of this app that my connection wasn't possible, because I rarely use it.
Et voilà, everything works now.
I'd like to thank Carolyn and Rave for allowing me to do not format my dear iBook G4 that I haven't formated for over 3 years!!! (I've done the whole backup of my iBook)

• Error while opening pdf in reader in windows 8:Can't open this file. There's a problem with file format

I have a problem with a pdf file which does not open with reader in windows 8 but it opens properly with adobe pdf reader. All other pdf can be opened in reader. But when i open a pdf(see this link for pdf for which i got error http://incometaxsoft.com/temp/Form.pdf)
it gives error as "Can't open this file. There's a problem with file format".
The same file opens properly in adobe pdf reader. You can check the pdf file which i have mentioned in the link above. But the reader which comes with windows 8 can open some other pdf in the same PC.What may be the error causing this??

This has turned out to be an enormous issue for me as I sell PDF files as ebooks. I have done a fair amount of investigating this for my system.
My files have to be compatible not just across readers but across operating systems.
To date, I have over 200 PDFs that have functioned flawlessly across Mac, PC (Windows 7 and below), Android, iPhone/iPad, Linux.
I personally test my PDFs using a variety of readers and PDF editors including
PDF XChange (my favorite)
Foxit (runner up for me and I recommend for most people)
Adobe (the bloated monster)
Nitro 9 (great for moving graphical elements around)
ABBYY
And the Nuance PDF Create toolsets
Those are off the top of my head. There are a bunch on Android that I test with too.
I am running the Windows 10 Pro Tech Preview and I have this same problem so I know it isn't fixed yet in any kind of pre-release way (-sigh-)
Here is what I've learned for my situation
The PDFs I created using NUANCE'S PDF CREATE PROFESSIONAL VERSION 8
all fail using the built-in Windows 8/10 PDF reader.
When I look at the PDF properties for these Nuance created files, the underlying engine used to write them is called "ImageToPDF". Using ABBYY it indicates their own engine as does everyone else that I've tried. It is easy for you to check to see
what created your PDF by doing a "Control D" (look at the document properties). Perhaps there's a common engine causing issues.
If I use the exact same source files to create a PDF using any of my other tools I have no issues. I checked the PDF versions made by the tools and they are all set to 1.5.
A customer mentioned being able to convert them in a way they worked by saving them without having to do any kind of extraction, but I have not been able to duplicate that. Perhaps he did a "print" which seems like it could work.
In summary, the workaround everyone is talking about, using an alternate reader, of course works. But not everyone wants to change.
The culprit I have found is my Nuance PDF Creation tools that are using the ImageToPDF engine.
I hope it gets FIXED as I really don't want to have to regenerate all of my PDF files.

Hi Waqas
Thanks for your help with this. I had a look at both posts, the URL works fine from the WAC server and I am not using a System account to test docs.
Also, this is a production site that is accessible over the Internet, so we are using https therefore the WOPIZone is external-https.
Issue #3 in the above blog link does not reflect the same error I see on my servers.
I also had a look at the information in this link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff431687.aspx#oauth
Problem: You receive a "Sorry, there was a problem and we can't open this document" error when you try to view an Office document in Office Web Apps.
If you added domains to the Allow List by using the
New-OfficeWebAppsHost cmdlet, make sure you’re accessing Office Web Apps from a host domain that’s in the Allow List. To view the host domains in the Allow List, on the Office Web Apps Server open the Windows PowerShell prompt as an administrator and run
the Get-OfficeWebAppsHost cmdlet. To add a domain to the Allow List, use the

I have not added any domains to the Allow list so this did not help either. Should I add the domain?
