I have a new drive that is only a few months old, I had to buy a new one
due to my old drive dying, it was the old drive in which I burned those
DVD's, so ideally it is like I am using a new drive different from the one
it was burned on. This is really upsetting to know that there is no
for sure way of being able to replace information that is burned to a DVD
I could understand if it was very very old. Should I contact Verbatim I wonder?

Everytime I want to open an attached file on my yahoo email, I now have to clear all the history including: Browsing and download history, Form and search history, cookies, and cache before I can open attachments on my yahoo mail and then I have to re-enter all my passwords, etc.
This was previously not a problem opening any attached files like PDF files or document files.

i think i have a problem whit my mousse because i have to click many times and then de map with pictures open.
but taping the spacebar is verry helpfull. have to click many times to open the map with fotos en then i can tap the spacebar to see the picture.
its only with the foto's that my mousse dont work so good for the rest i dont have problems.
i have to click only one time and everthing works.

Maybe this is a common problem or not. I've tried searching for a solution but I haven't found one yet. Anyway the problem is that I've basically bought from the itunes store JCVD (a very good film), and I could watch it whilst it was downloading but now for some reason I can't.
The file is in movies (on a nas drive i.e. time capsule) but if I try to play it a colourwheel appears and nothing happens. I've tried to move the file to the desktop but it won't add then either and all my other itunes purchased music seems to work. It's a weird problem and It'd be great if someone has an idea of how I can proceed to troubleshoot the problem.

oh and I hastened to add that I've got the latest version of itunes and quicktime - all up to date according to software update. I've tried recreating the directory structure on my local computer with the said file and it hasn't worked either.
I'm at a loss really.

When opening a new tab, Pogo with Yahoo search pops up first - how do I get rid of this

When clicking on a new link, the page changes to Pogo.com with a Yahoo search bar mid screen until the new tab starts to load, then it reverts to the originale page. Im using vista with yahoo as a home page, links open in a new tab. Tried changing home page to Google and reloading different releases of ff 4., started after latest updates of microsoft vista - help!

It took me most of a day to figure this out, but I finally did, after uninstalling the Yahoo toolbar all over the computer, including Internet Explorer but when I went back to Firefox it was still listed on my toolbars, and continued to produce the Pogo search screen whether the toolbar was enabled or not. I found the answer by accident by phrasing it slightly differently on Firefox help. I have XP, but the basics is go click on Tools, then Add-ons, then Extensions. Uninstall Yahoo toolbar and that should do it. Mine is now free of it. The point being that the download came in with something else (in my case a game I was trying out) and you need to get rid of the download on Firefox.

Major slowdown when playing backgammon on Yahoo Games
