I Can't Organize My Favorites

When I go under Favorites and then to Organize Favorites, all that comes up is a blank box. I can't organize my favorites.

You either have PlainOld Favorites installed or you don't - no "think" involved.
Tools > Addons > Extensions = is PlainOld Favorites listed there?

I don't use that extension myself, and I don't see an explanation for how Organize Favorites works at either website, so I can't offer any tips.
Have you tried "organizing" your Favorites by using IE? The changes you make in IE should be reflected in POF.

Downloaded firefox today. I imported my favorites from internet explorer 9. I can't find my favorites. Is there a button/tab/list that I'm not seeing? I want to be able to go to a list of favorite sites as I did in e9 and not type in a website every time I want to go there.

You can usually find the imported IE Favorites in a folder ("From Internet Explorer") at the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu folder (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks).
If you can't find them in the "From Internet Explorer" folder then try this:
* Export the favorites in IE to an HTML file (bookmarks.html): File > Import and Export
* Import the HTML file in Firefox: Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import HTML: From File

I don't know where else to post this question, so here goes:
Want online TV guide so can mark hrs ahead favorite ahead shows,&ignore the rest.
Oh, and I mean for antenna broadcast tv. Not for cable or satellite, can't afford that.
Is there such an online site or application for Mac, Firefox.
Want to be able to look over a TV schedule and click on the shows interested in for the hours ahead and not have to bother even seeing (much less having to re-read) again the shows we have no interest in.
I would like the shows I do not mark to just disappear from the schedule and see them no more that day and evening.
Less clutter, much simpler, and a lot less re-reading.
So frustrating to have to skim down the column for each hour and look at all those shows channels I've already looked at and know I have no interest in.
I know, I should be able to remember (naahhhh), or write them down (naahhh). The mac is supposed to do all our work and thinkin for us these days.
Hasn't some bright bulb already solved this problem for millions of viewerrs? Made such an online tv guide website, invented sucha application?
I have been using zap2it, but it does not have any sucha feature.
I have Mac, Snow Leopard, and using Firefox.

You'll need to wait for all these things to come out to beta testing for that kind if detailed help. But at the moment it seems that you make the Albums in your Photos.app on the Mac or iOS device and these then turn up on the Library in the Cloud. I can see no way to create albums in a web browser, and iPhoto doesn't communicate with the Library.

I don't think that function is possible with IOS. The only thing I see is you can put the company that the contact is with for clients.

can one organize a playlist in the grid or artist view in iTunes 11, i.e visually? the playlist as just a list of songs/ artists is a hopeless & very frustrating way to orgaize a list of maybe 30 songs/ artists that i might have downloaded in one session. or do the boffins at mac have that kind of brain numbing memory capacity?

hi, yes i use that, but what i'm asking is can i drag the songs into the order i want when i have grid or artist list. in artist list it just lists alphabetically, it does not list in playlist order. it seem s to me that only in 'list' view without images that i can drag songs around, which is useless.

In the device sync pages select Photos on the top at the right.

I synced my android and my desktop and adding a favorite on the desktop is syncing with android. In the other way i can't find the favorite on my desktop

From desktop to android is working perfectly. Then i added a favorite on the phone and i can not find the favorite on the desktop. I also clicked the sync button under settings on the phone to be sure that the phone is synced.
still can not find the favorite. On the phone i can find the favorite and a folder "Desktop-Favorites" it's translated so can look different in the english version.
Under Desktop-Favorites i can find all my stuff from the desktop.
Somebody has the same problem or i am blind or sync is just one way ?

Sync is both ways so there's something not working as intended. It could be that the computer hasn't synced yet, to confirm this, you can press the Sync Now button in the Firefox button (if you are in Mac it's under "Tools").
If after that it doesn't work, I will recommend you to check in the logs if there's something that is not being downloaded to your computer. MOVED FROM AOL ON MY PC TO AOL ON MY MAC. I CAN'T FIND MY FAVORITE PLACES

For some reason when I open up my favorite places , none of my favorite place are there, they are all gone. I have them all when I sign on to aol on a pc but when I sign on to aol on my mac my favorite places is not there. Can anyone help?

Now, PLEASE if anyone knows how, my Dad is REALLY struggling with this:
He used to compose an e-mail on Windows AOL and he could "insert a favorite place" right into his e-mail. He used this feature constantly.
Now that I have moved him over to a Mac, he doesn't have that option. Really, when you "insert a favorite place", AOL is just putting a link in the HTML e-mail.
Currently, he has to drag his "favorites" (bookmarks) from Safari into Mac Mail, and this is just killing him.
I have tried to use Leopard's new stationary to accomplish this, but have not yet succeeded.

If they are iCloud contacts, go to your contacts on icloud.com. There you can create groups and drag and drop contacts to groups.

I have added some audiobooks.And they have appeared as music in itunes so I have changed them to audiobooks in Options tab.

Let's start with some assumptions:
1. Your audiobooks are in several files;
2. Those files are MP3;
3. You only use a PC (no Mac).
The easy solution is to create real audiobooks from those files, that means using a 3rd party application, the following is a free one, there are others commercial and also there is a manual procedure to do it all with iTunes:

What do I mean by real audiobooks? All in one file, with extension .m4b; that format enables the use of bookmarks and optional chapters.
A separate problem is that you don't see audiobooks in iTunes. Does your iTunes have an Audiobook section on the left? if not, then go to Edit -> Preferences -> General, and tick Audiobooks in Show.
