I can't play the supported formats

Hi all, I am using on jmf to play audio and video. Unfortunately, I am not able to play the supported formats
e.g .mpg and .avi.
In the case of .avi, it can't show the video but I can hear the audio.
please help me anyone with the same problem solved or any advice?

For example, I have had a number of Kodak cameras which can take MOVs. The first camera made MOVs that were compatible with JMF. The second did not.

Note that I want two answers to that question - the first a yes/no for the MOV, the second a yes/no for either MPG.
Those files have been seen to work with JMF.

Try using VLC or installing both QuickTime 7 and Perian. Nothing will work with all AVIs; some of them require codecs not available for Mac OS X.

How can I change the date format in Reminders and in Notes?

How can I change the date format in both Notes and Reminders? Preference on Imac and Settings in IOS do not allow me to change the format in those 2 apps.
I Like to see 10oct rather than 10/10, as an example.

I do not have Mavericks or iOS - but the first thing I would do is reset the defaults - I'll use Mavericks as an example

    Click the Dates tab.

Here's the result AppleScript i use to grab the " 'Short Date' ' + ' 'Short Time' " to paste into download filenames - works good until I try to post it here - the colon " : " is a no-no but is fine in the Finder

Comes up with "This movie can be played only on displays that support HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection)."
The cheek of the matter is everytime I tried to get Apple support it comes up with a request for me to pay $54 for their support package, to fix a problem I didn't have until I complied to one of their update requests.
End of Rant!!! - Anyone know how to fix please?

Well, I wonder about all the responses...:)
Anyhow, I wound up "fixing" the problem by using the System Restore disks for the Mini. It's now running Tiger 10.4.11 (with all updates) and I copied my iTunes library over. It all works now. <shrug> I have no idea what the problem was, and I'm a bit leery of upgrading it to Leopard, so I think I'll just leave well enough alone.

No judgment here on the music you listen to, I have that song too in my library. If iTunes is telling you that the song is missing and you purchased it from the iTunes Store, then just delete it from your iTunes library and then download your song again. The iPad can not play some video formats such as WMV or FLV. Those would need to be converted on your computer to something the iPad can play, like M4V or MP4.
You might ask the person who sent the message to you to do the conversion and send it again.

This certainly implies that the alias is not required to be your registered name, and only becomes the prefix for a new @me.com address. There might be something going on with the servers right now as they are probably very focused on getting ready for the iPhone 5 pre-order release, which is supposed to happen any minute now. You might have better luck if you waited a while.

You definitely need to resurrect the old password associated with the Apple ID you used to purchase the music.

An email will be sent to the email address associated with that account with instructions regarding resetting that Apple ID's password.
If you no longer have access to that email, the resolution to this problem becomes considerably more difficult. In that event you would need to contact iTunes Support and explain your dilemma.

I can not play the sequence in preview mode. How do I fix this issue?

Each frame loads in the preview window when highlighted, but I can not play the sequence.

I am working on a project for school. I have been draging clips down to the timeline and matching it with a few voice overs. Nothing too complex. If you have added the ringtone file correctly to iTunes, it will appear under iTunes 'Tones' library.
If you don't find Tones library in iTunes, go to iTunes menu EDIT/PRFERENCES under GENERAL tab, check the Tones Box under Library source to display Tones library in iTunes.
iTunes accepts only m4r file as ringtone and has to be less than 40secs.

To frustrate me apple does not seem to have a support email or any method to contact them with this issue to do with their email product. I have spent ages going through the apple support sites and I keep getting asked for an apple product to mark it against. I have no apple product as I am using a PC but I am accessing and using their email product. Is there even a phone number I can call? Surely there is a support area for their Email server issues. Can anyone help? It is driving me mad and causing me major issues. My outlook is Outlook 2010 on a windows 8 PC. As I have said it worked fine then one day decided to stop sending emails.

How can I play the songs in iTunes on my Android phone?

I am a new comer to iTunes. I just purchased a couple of songs from iTunes and it plays correctly on my iMac and iPad. I have following questions and seeking the answers.
1. Are the songs sited on iTunes server and streaming when I play the song? It requires internet connection to play the songs. Can I download the songs onto my device to avoid internet connection.
2. Can I play the songs on my Android phone?
3. I have some songs on my iMac and appears in the iTunes. How can I sync with my iPad (currently not appear in the iTunes of my iPad)?

i guess the existance of an app means that itunes for the iphone cannot alphabatize itself. that seems a little odd, given the new updates. do you use this app? i've gotten used to the functionality of the standard music app, and am curious how this one compares in terms of usage.

Hi to all. I do have a problem with my apple Tv. I can't play the HD movies that I have in my external hard drive which is connenected to my macbook pro. Some of them don't play at all and it's switching off the XBMC, and some of them are just starting for a few seconds and then is getting paused trying to buffering for a long time. The simple avi movies are playing with fewer stops for buffering. What is the problem? Can you help me?
