I can't post to Craigslist....it gets stuck "loading"

I'm unable to post an ad on Craigslist.
The posting process stops and just displays "loading" and I'm unable to go to the next step.

I've had this problem on and off for over 2 months and finally just now...today....Feb 22, 2011, I finally decided to attempt to post an ad using Windows Internet Explorer and was able to successfully post my Help Wanted Ads without any problems.
This appears to be an isolated problem with Mozilla Firefox which is a shame because I like using Firefox! So if you are still having problems posting to Craigslist through Firefox, post it through Internet Explorer and you should not have any problems.

Ipad gets stuck "loading"

Help please. My Ipad gets stuck "loading" if i try either itunes or Apps store. It was fine for weeks, just happened today. Any ideas?

Seems you cant post to Craigslist using iPhone. All go's well until your asked to enter the "Verification Word" which is not an option with the iPhone. Does this have something to do with the lack of Jave or something. It's no big deal I'm just curious.

It appears to use Javascript, not Java.
Make sure the Javascript option is turned on in Settings->Safari.

After updating Firefox and Java, Firefox gets stuck loading,will not work, and I have to use End Now to exit it.

I started to have problems after I updated Firefox and then I did a Java update, hoping this would help. Firefox will not finish loading, it gets stuck, I cannot go to websites with it, it is stuck. Then when I try to close it down, I get the message that it is not responding and I have to use" End Now". I am having to use Internet Explorer as my browser, which works fine. My computer is a six year old quite feeble PC with a 37GB hard drive with only about 5GB of available space left.

Yes, you will lose all your data stored on the sync server if you reset the sync (recovery) key.
If you do not keep changes after a restart then see:

Is the password manager working properly?
You can find the sync password and the sync key in the password manager on the computer where you originally created that sync account (email).
*Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
Look for:

* chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Encryption Passphrase)

Safari gets stuck loading pages and cycles indefinitely

I am new to Macs. I am using Safari to trade stocks and many of the pages I use must be refreshed every few minutes. These pages are located in etrade.com, ameritrade.com, google finance and yahoo finance. At any single point, I may have up to ten or so tabs open in my window and refresh each as I need. However, Safari will have a tough time refreshing the pages most of the time and will get through about half of one, then get stuck and start cycling indefinitely. At that point, I need to stop loading, reload/refresh the page a couple more times, each time Safari getting further along and getting stuck again, until the page properly refreshes completely. I understand that I am using a lot of pages at once. But that should be no problem and should have no affect on the browser and other pages. I have a 2.93 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM, and 256 GB SSD hard drive. The computer has no software on it so far. No music, nothing so far. I've never had this problem with Mozilla or Explorer on PCs. Even this Apple page had to be reloaded, now that the problem has spread to all pages I browse online. I have no other problems with the notebook. Does anyone know what's going on with my browser and do I need a software update or need to get the computer flushed and everything reinstalled? Thanks for any help.

Try this:
(First, if yours is an Intel Mac, check that Safari is not running in Rosetta, which is enough to slow it to a crawl.)
Adding DNS codes to your Network Settings, should gives good results in terms of speed-up:
Open System Preferences/Network. Double click on your connection type, or select it in the drop-down menu. Click on TCP/IP and in the box marked 'DNS Servers' enter the following two numbers:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

Whilst in System Preferences/Network you should also turn off 'IPv6' in your preference pane, as otherwise you may not get the full speed benefit (the DNS resolver will default to making SRV queries). If you want to know what IPv6 is:

Do you have a computer around? You could try plugging your iPad in and deleting uneeded apps, songs, movies, etc. using iTunes.

Firefox keeps prompting an update, but can't complete it. It gets stuck on "Connecting to the Server" and runs for hours until I stop it. Help!

I have a Mac OS X ver. 10.5.8 and I've used Firefox on it since I got it 3 years (?) ago. The most recent update for both Firefox and Thunderbird keeps prompting me, but when I say "yes" to update, a bar appears with lines moving through it and it says, "Connecting to the update Server" but it never gets any farther. I've left it for hours at a time and it won't actually update either program.

If you have problems with updating then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

How can I escape from crop? Gets stuck on crop. Thus cannot do adjust color /remove color cast. Photoshop Elements 10 on PC.

I try everything. Shut down Photoshop Elements 10. Shut down PC. Re-boot PC. Try a different jpg. Open it with PSE 10. It still is stuck on Crop tool, and won't allow me to Adjust color.

Which operating system are you running on?
Have you tried resetting the tools?
Click on the small down triangle at the top left of the tools and select Reset all tools
Once you are in the crop tool, you are clicking on the accept tick or the cancel symbol aren't you?

I have the latest version of Safari and it tends to stop responding, won't load a page and has to be forced quit. This only happened when I updated Safari. Can I go back to version2? Firefox works fine. From reading many blogs it seems to be a big problem. Could this knock Safari off the top spot for Mac users.

PL anonymous block does everything, but then gets stuck

We have a PL/SQL block that loops through a cursor, and inserts data into another table. We're having a strange issue with it... Every single line of code within it appears to function correctly... It does everything we want it to. The last line on it calls a simple function that writes a record to a table we made, to indicate it has completed. It does that, and we can see the record is inserted successfully.
The problem: even though we can see it did everything, it gets "stuck". If we run it as a anonymous block, the sql plus session will just stay stuck. Same thing if we turn it into a procedure and invoke it. It just stays stuck. Viewing it from OEM... We can see the session as "active", but it doesn't show that it's currently executing anything.
How can we go about figuring out what the problem is?
We've tried it on four databases... All windows platforms.. Three were oracle 10g, one was Oracle 11g. One more interesting note: one of the 10g ones... the problem does not occur... the script finishes fine. But, we don't know what is different about this database from the others.
We also notice the problem doesn't happen if we limit the amount of records... the initial cursor we process, if we limit it using "rownum < 100" or something like that, it will also always finish fine.

Avoid row-at-a-time processing if at all possible (cursor for loops, periodic commits, etc).
Try adding some calls to dbms_application_info.set_module (or set_action) in order to find out where your code is.

Mail gets 'stuck' doing a send & receive

Hi,
Since upgrading to Mac OS 10.6.5, Mail regularly gets 'stuck' doing a send and receive. I have three IMAP mail accounts in Mail: one MobileMe and two GMail. I can't send any mail (messages get stuck in the Outbox). No new mail comes in. I can't Quit Mail. I can only Force Quit Mail (although the Force Quit app does NOT say that Mail is not responding - it thinks everything is OK). I use three Mail plugins: MailActOn, MailTags and Mail Attachments Iconizer. Neither restarting Mail or restarting my Mac helps - Mail just gets stuck again. I know it's an issue with the Mail software because other clients (e.g. Mail on iPhone and iPad) access my IMAP mailboxes just fine.

After analysing Mail's Activity Viewer messages I thought perhaps Mail was getting stuck when downloading messages from my two POP accounts. I logged into both accounts via webmail and deleted the messages in there. Volia! Mail is now unstuck. This is clearly a serious bug in the program - why should a problem with messages in POP mailboxes cause the entire application (and all IMAP accounts) to freeze?

Can anyone give reasons why TRFCS get stuck in SM58.
We have a problem and it isnt as simple as just releasing them manually as it is happening a lot so wondered if there was any tables or log that could be deleted etc

It's not supposed to. You need a newer device to use applications which require iOS 4.3 or above.

It is peculiar, that Chrome, Safari, and Skype can access FB, but not the iPhoto uploader.
Do you see any error messages/ diagnostics in the Console Window, when you try to connect to Facebook?
Launch a Console window from Applications > Utilities and clear the Console Window. Then try to upload. Are there any new messages?
And also launch a Terminal and have a look, if "facebook.com" is properly resolved:
