I can't post to forums! - Except this time, obvioulsy

I cannot get the website forums to work properly anymore. I have tried on four different computers including one from a different location entirely. I also created an entirely different identity and it still doesn't work. If I go to log in, it logs me in and shows my personal info, allows changes to my password, whatever. During the entire time I am in forums the top of the page says “Welcome, always frustrated” (that’s my user name). When I go to a forum question I posted a couple of weeks ago, I can view it, but I cannot reply and a "reply" option does not appear anywhere. It does say “logon/register” but that link takes you to a page that never loads. The same thing happens if I try to start a new discussion. This has gone on for a couple of weeks. After numerous trys, I thought I would try again this morning. Some how I got through this time. Can anyone help? (by the way, I may not be able to reply to this since I might not be able to post again).

As you noted, the forums have a separate login link that is under the black Forums banner on the left side of the screen. Is that the link/page that never loads? That page is at adobe.com and is not within the forums. Have you tried clearing out cookies from adobe.com and forums.adobe.com? Clearing the browser cache? It isn’t a common error and I can’t see anything wrong from the forums side of things.
Let us know if you do get back in to reply to this. If you cannot get in send a note to userforum at adobe dot com and I’ll send this off to the Adobe membership folks to see if they find any errors in your Adobe IDs. I do see both of your accounts and will send them info on both.

I've done a Firefox reset, but I can't post to forums. There is no warning message, and if I post the same thing twice, there's a box that says "you've already posted this comment", but it doesn't show in the forum. It's fine on Internet Explorer. I used this constantly before the reset and it started when I uninstalled AVG and installed Symentec. Any suggestions?

Try closing all of the apps on your iPad and then reset the device.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it. Close every app this way.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Unpower it. If it still happens on a restart give it time - Apple's servers sometimes have glitches.

Can not login to icloud at this time...

So, I do not get this. I have tried to setup an icloud account for my dad on his MacBook Pro running 10.8.2, using his Apple id.
It just says that it can not login to icloud at this time, but I can login icloud.com using the same user/password via safari.
So, what is this ?? Anyone with a similar experience ?

Workaround - works
I backed up and deleted the children's accounts on the Mac, recreated them as normal accounts with no Parental Controls and setup all of the iCould mail and other apps.
I then locked down the browser for sites like google and youtube to use their explicit content blocking.
I then added parental controls to the accounts.
All is now working correctly although there is clearly an issue,
If you can be bothered to do this, you'll be fine.

What is the deal. I'm trying to request service for my Ipod and everytime I go through everything and submit it, it says "Sorry we can't process your request at this time..." I have tried numerous times and am getting very frustrated. Please help.

May be the sistem in your area is really busy. Can you wait few hours or contact them with a Message ?

I was running into the same issue for the past few days and decided... Heck, just try the old fashioned way and unplug the thing. Boom. Fixed it. Try unplugging it and doing the old reset and see how that goes.

Computer can't access user account at this time

Hello, my situation is this.I tried entering the wrong password to the point where the computer could nolonger access the account.So this is where I sit... everytime I try to access my account the computer tells me "can't access account 'BLAMEUS' at this time".....a little help....!

I assume you're referring to some kind of online account? You can try clearing the 'cache' of your browser. If this doesn't help, you can try clearing the 'stored cookies' in your browser... clearing the cookies will usually result in having to input username and password in all sites you visit that require one. Your username and password is also stored in the browser, so if push came to shove you may have to also clear or edit this or just the wrong password, especially if the URL of the site you are trying to access has the right username but wrong password stored, it will always input the wrong password. I hope you know what I mean...

Hello and Welcome to Apple Discussions.
This happens when you first navigate to a page that you may not access before you are logged in. For some reason Apple Discussions tells you you must log in. Then you log in, and then you are directed back to that 'you must log-in' page. Don't worry just carry on as normal - as you have done hear. I hope this is on the Moderators wish list as I have queried it before.

I can not save an alias at this time?

Ever since this past Semptember, when I got the new iPhone and Apple was doing the major switch over to iCloud, when I tried adding a new alias, it says I cannot save an alias at this time. I have tried about every day for about a month now, and it still will not let me save one. I have called apple multiple times, and they had no answer for this other than they have heard of this issue and they were sure it would be fixed within a week. Well, it has been about a month now. I have seen other people's post that they have just kept trying and they eventually got it to save, even if they never got an email saying that their account was successfully turned over to an @icloud.com account. I can sign in using my email using an [email protected] and send and reviece emails from the @icloud.com as well as my @me.com. I just cannot save an alias. I used to have an alias on my @me.com, but the apple representative said it would need to be deleted to change to the @icloud.com, so now I am extremely frustrated that I have lost that email address and I cannot create a new one.
Any suggestions??

I am using icloud.com. But I have not received the email I have others talk about that my account has been switch over. And when I try to make an alias, it says it is an @icloud.com, but it just cannot be saved.
How long is this all going to take? It is just very frustrating since the apple representative told me to delete the alias, and I use that email address for many things, so my email is a mess right now!

HT1937 I have upgraded my iphone 3gs to ios6.1, the ios6.1 got downloaded but while installing it, it say "We are unable to continue, we can't activate the iphone at this time"

I am using iphone 3gs and have unlocked it officially from apple. Now when I tried to upgarde to ios6.1 I was able to download the ios software on my iphone successfully, but when it started installing the ios on my iphone it restarted my iphone and now it says " We are unable to countinue, we cannot activate the iphone at this time. The activtation server is currently down please try after sometime or you can also activate it by connecting to iTunes." .
Please anyone can help in either resolving this issue or restoring it back to my original ios5.1.

This generally is a sign that the iPhone had previously been jailbroken
or hacked to unlock it from the original wireless provider and the update
has relocked it to that carrier. You must contact the wireless provider it
is locked to and ask if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
Exactly how did you get Apple to unlock your 3gs? Only wireless carriers
unlock iPhones; Apple does not do so.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
