I can't print my e-mails.

Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model? What operating system? How is the printer connected - USB, wired LAN, Wireless LAN, bluetooth? Are there any error messages on the printer or computer screen? What program are you using for email?

HP Photosmart 5520 Windows XP Windows shuts down IE & can't print from e-mail

installed new 5520 last weekend. windows keeps shutting down IE. went through windows suggestions. says it is due to smartprint. I do not need smartprint or e-print, just want to print from my laptop. Can I uninstall smartprint and e-print and just use regular printing? Also, I can't print from e-mail. I can print everything else except from e-mail. Anyone know how to correct this?

Is it possible you mistakenly clicked on a [Clear Layout] button?
But a great hint is- Always click on the [Create a Saved Book] button, early in your new book design.
Then you have a permanent link to the book in the Collections panel. (In addition to the standard collection of your selected images)
Note: a Book Collection shows an icon that looks like a book.
Every time you come back to edit the book, open the Book Module by clicking on the white arrow that appears on the end of your Book Collection title. (The title as saved)
Re-opening a book without using the "Saved Book" option can have unpredictable results.
A "Book" Collection is like a "Smart Collection" because anything you do to the book design, change pages, change images, etc, is automatically updated in the Saved Book collection.

but if you need to print them from outlook program -> open contacts > select a folder of contacts "if you have any" > with windows keyboard click (CTRL + P)

What happens when you try to print: do you get an error message, or a blank/jumbled page, or just nothing?

There is no good way that I have found to print them directly from Thunderbird.
The best way that I have found is to export the address book to a comma separated file, .csv file, then open that with Excel or Open Office, format the file like you want and print from there.
The added benefit of doing this is now you have a backup file of your address book in case something bad happens.
The Export command is under Tools in the Address Book window.

     9 inches of snow outside. Welcome to Spring in NE. I am on Aol. I'm surprised the reset didn't solve it as I've seen several others on this site with more than one e-mail as I have get rid of them.
     I received another CVS coupon today, didn't need it and it went into Trash and the trash was deleted, no problem. I just don't want a collection of e-mails as some have reported having.
     I did update both iPhone 4 and iPad 2 today with latest update, iOS 6.1.3. I appreciate the help very much.

How can I print conversations in Mail?

I would like to print some old messages in conversation view, to avoid repeating the same conversation over and over. Is that possible?
When I try to select an entire conversation, I still see the blue highlight around a single message, so I'm not sure I've succeeded in selecting the entire chain of messages. Each time I've tried to select a conversation and print (with or without doing select-all-in-conversation first) I still only see a single message on the print preview. Am I doing something wrong? I'm not finding any documentation that addresses this. (It would be nice to have a selector in the print dialog to select whether to print the current message or the current conversation...) One thought, your ISP likely has a very good and highly configurable Spam filter. If you go through their webmail interface you might find a huge number of options that may do as you require. This aasumes you use your ISPs mail service.
If not try the webmail interface for the Mail provider you use.

la troisième page ne contient pas la suite, mais est un page blanche avec la même entête que la première page et en bas ( dernière ligne) l'inscription 3 sur 3 et à droite complètement la date et l'heure.

Why does FireFox truncate part of an E-mail of more than one page when I try to print it out? How can I sent an E-mail blaet to several but only show one name o

When I try to print out an E-mail that is longer than one page, part of the 2nd page is truncated. I then have to go to Safari to print out the entire E-mail without part of it being truncated.
When I have multiple E-mail addresses on a single E-mail, how can I send the E-mail so that each recipient only sees his/her name and E-mail address rather than everyone else that the E-mail is addressed to?
Please advise.

Some style rules that Firefox handles well on the screen can cause this problem. Many email sites have a print button which simplifies the message format and removes navigation elements, etc., and Firefox generally handles print-formatted pages better. If your email site doesn't have print-formatted pages or those do not print, a "hack" is to select the text you want to print and then choose the Selection option in the print dialog.
To hide email addresses from recipients, you need to place them in the BCC field. What do you put in the TO field in that case? You can use your own address.

Why can't print to Xerox Splash or HP from Safari or Apple Mail?

I just updated my computer from a G4 running 10.3.9 to a G5 running 10.4.5. I used the migrate wizard so I didn't need to install anything new. All my applications even seem to work well. The only thing I can't do is print from Safari or Mail to an HP LaserJet 1320 or a Xerox Docucolor G630. I reinstalled the drivers for both printers and I still can't print. I can print from Quark and Acrobat Reader just fine. A few months ago, I set up a G5 workstation but with that one I needed to install everything from scratch and I'm able to print from Safari and Mail fine from that computer. What do I need to do?
One more thing, I tried printing a page from my System Profile and I can't. I click on the print button and nothing happens. I'm at a loss here. Where do I begin?
I hate to be persistant but I really need some help. Let me tell you what I've done so far.
I've gone to the HP site and downloaded the latest driver for the 1320n series printer and I reinstalled and set up the printer in the print center like I've always done with any of the printers I've set up before. I still can't print from Mail, Safari, and from the system. I see on the HP site that there is a fix in the Tiger system already (I think I'm reading that right) and I shouldn't be worrying about this.
I found in one of the other forum listings about a Foomatic/hpijs and I installed that one. Nothing printed. I tried using a Generic PPD. Nothing happened.
I reinstalled the Xerox Splash printer drivers from the disk and that didn't make a difference.
In the print window, I can't make a PDF, won't let me Preview, and won't let me Print. I click on the buttons and they won't even react. It doesn't do anything. But even with the new drivers I've set up since I started all this, I can still print from Quark and Acrobat Reader. So it seems it's got something to do with the system.
I'm really frustrated here. Can someone please give me a clue if they have one? Anything would be appreciated.

Thanks a million for your input. I really appreciate it. I found the fix though in the troubleshooting section in the book I purchased from Dr. Smoke from the Forums. It's his X Lab for Tiger book. Dr. Smoke is THE BOMB! :~D I have to thank him again for his guru abilities!
There was a plugin that was afoul. The Xerox Accounting plugin was causing my print option not to respond along with the other buttons in the print window. I removed it from the plugin folder and now I can print. I'm glad that's all it was.

Using your example and not modifying it, I get the e-mail form filled out correctly and the pdf attached, however, I'm not prompted to sign it.

Often printing problems are a sign of corrupt preferences. Go to HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences, delete the com.apple.iwork.pages.plist file & then restart Pages.
