I can't put a word into the search box on many sites

I click in the search box to start typing but nothing happens in most sites. There are a few which will respond. This has only happened today. I have made no changes today or yesterday.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.

On my home page in the Google search box, when you type words the letters are cut off on the bottom. Also advertisements are on top of writing or things I want to see on web pages.

If you increased the minimum font size then try a lower setting (default is ''none'') as a too high value can cause issues like you described.
Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors: Advanced > Minimum Font Size

I have installed Version 4 and it won't search andnothing happens when I put a subject into the search box & click on search

Can't really add anything to the above, as not sure what has happened & pretty hopeless at internet related matters. I have read that the tool & search bars have gone so there seems nowhere to go !

Which search engine is selected if you click the search engine icon on the (Google) search bar?
You can try to open the Manage Search Engines window and click the Restore Defaults button if that button is enabled.

Sometimes clicking on an object in the drop-down box of the search does not put that into the search box.

when putting an inquiry into the search box, the drop-down gives suggestions. Sometimes when selecting a suggestion, it does not appear in the search box. Reboot of computer fixes the problem. reboot of the browser does not.

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

When i put an artist in the search box it crashes . I get a run time error. Why?

When I put an artist into the search box of the itunes store my computer gives me a run time error and says itunes has stopped working. Windows will notify you with a solution. They never notify me . I can play my music library with no problem but lately when I listen to music samples from the itunes store I constantly get a rebuffering notice. Now I can't even get that far My internet speed is fine. I checked with my carrier. I am thinking I may need to reinstall itunes completely but do I have to back up my library? Or is it in the itunes cloud?

The subscript error I get does obviously relate to the array, but I know in advance how much data will be transfered, 500 data points of a trace and I have DIM the array just prior to the transfer code, in the same subroutine. Also I have attemped to make the transfer a for next loop and it I get the same error at the start of the loop? The has to be another cause of this problem.

Export them
File -> Export
to a folder on the desktop. From there copy them back to your camera.
Remember, the camera has a quite specific set up of folders, and you'll need to put the files back in the correct place for them to be viewable on the camera.

If you select a word or phrase, then right-click you should get the option to search for that word or phrase. It will use the search engine that is currently selected in the [[search bar]].

Edit the list the comes up when you go to the Window menu and select "Previous Recipients".

I have the Google search box (top right) as well as the Navigation toolbar - if I type some words into the Nav Toolbar the options are given to me in Yahoo Germany, and I can find no way of changing that at all. I am using Linux mint 12 with firefox.
Everytime I try to type something in the search box a further box appears to tell me this is a JSON file and what program should I use to open it.
This has only happened since reinstalling my system a couple of weeks ago.
I am not really interested in what a json file is I simply want to get rid of this pop up box.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

After using Macs for a number of years at both school and work, I finally ordered an iMac G5 of my own. When the DualDiscs came out I bought a few because I wnated all the content I could get. Attempting to play them on my iMac at work however, proved problematic. The audio side would spin for a few seconds then eject. I was slightly annoyed, but settled for playing the DVD audio versions of the albums as I worked. In my car stereo, the audio would work, but any other player it would not.
When my personal iMac came, I expected the same problem- only the DVD side would play. Imagine my surprise when every DualDisc I attempted to rip (Switchfoot, Bruce Springsteen, Rob Thomas, Ben Folds, The Wallflowers, Oasis, David Gray) in iTunes was read and successfully ripped.
So I wonder this- is it as much a problem with older Superdrives not being able to read the thicker discs as anything else?
Or am I an anomaly

You will need a nano sim for the iPhone 5, your 4S sim is too big.

I type in the search box; suggestions appear underneath; when i click on one of them, they all disappear, and nothing is added into the search box.

However, when I click on one of these suggestions, there is no change to what is in the search window, and nothing further happens. I have tried every option under Tools|Privacy, and I've tried everything on Google options but nothing works. Normally, when I click on one of the offered suggestions it would appear in full in the search window. What do I do?
