I can't read on my samsung tablet after new software

Ik heb een Samsung tablet sinds maart dit jaar
Door problemen hebben ze begin juni nieuwe software erop gezet.
Voordien deed hij het wel goed maar nadat ik,na de nieuwe software, de app er weer op heb gezet krijg ik het niet voor elkaar
Bij bol.com geven ze aan dat ik AdobeID moet invoeren. Ik wist hier niet meer welk emailadres ik had gebruikt.... 80% zeker maar ook het wachtwoord niet meer.
Nu heb ik mij opnieuw ingeschreven bij AdobeID en ik doe het bij de app autoriseren maar het lukt niet.
Heb ik teveel accounts bij Adobe, kunnen ze gekoppeld worden??
Ik wil graag weer lezen

    Back up all data before making any changes. Please take each of the following steps until the problem is resolved.
    Step 1
    If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, and the problem is just that you can't print PDF's displayed in Safari, you may be able to print by moving the cursor to the the bottom edge of the page, somewhere near the middle. A black toolbar may appear under the cursor. Click the printer icon.
    Step 2
    There should be a setting in its preferences of the Adobe application such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected.
    Step 3
    If you get a message such as ""Adobe Reader blocked for this website," then from the Safari menu bar, select
    Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
    and check the box marked
    Allow Plug-ins
    Then click
    Manage Website Settings...
    and make any required changes to the security settings for the Adobe PDF plugin.
    Step 4
    Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
    /Library/Internet Plug-ins
    In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder
    from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens (command-V), then press return.
    From the folder that opens, move to the Trash any items that have "Adobe" or “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari.
    Step 5
    The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it, if it's present. The same goes for a plugin called "iGetter," and perhaps others — I don't have a complete list. Don't remove Silverlight if you use the "Netflix" video-streaming service.
    Step 6
    Do as in Step 4 with this line:
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
    If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari.

    Was using the Sony Reader app on a Samsung tablet, then signed out.  Because of doing that could not access books anymore.
    Attempted to sign in and it didn't recognize my sign-in (Sony Reader Store continues to).
    Got an Adobe Sign-in screen and it doesn't recognize my sign-in so used their link to reset my password, which I did.
    Reader app on tablet doesn't recognize new or old password.  What do I have to do to be able to read books again?

    Have you tried logging into http://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com/ with the same account and accepting the terms and conditions there?

    OK, I've got a couple of problems. First of all, I've been unable to send text messages from my 6620. As detailed in this older thread,

    ...somebody on Yahoo answers suggested a possible fix, but it requires deleting all the text messages in m "In," "Out," and "Drafts" folders first.
    I've therefore been dragging my heels about implementing this fix, as I have numerous text messages on my phone which I'd really like to be able to keep and refer back to in the future. The problem is, the last time I checked, there was no way to read any old text messages that you'd removed from your Nokia smartphone and stored on your computer.
    Is this still the case? It seems ridiculous to be that there wouldn't be a way to do something as simple as reading an old text file on your computer, but as I said, the last time I checked, nobody could point to any app or utility that would make this possible.
    I do recall being able to open certain "Mail" files on the Mac, using TextEdit, but the Nokia had buried the messages inside an incomprehensible structure of layers upon layers of folders and sub-folders, and when you opened the messages, you'd often have to wade through tons and tons of duplicates, all of which had tons of bizarre, random ascii characters showing up in the bodies of the text messages.
    So using TextEdit's not a great solution.
    Please, can somebody tell me if there's a program that will enable me to easily find and read my backed-up text messages? Ideally this would be something that works under OS X, but I can use VMWare Fusion or Virtual PC if there's only a Windows solution available. Thank you!

    Verizon Messages will only sync messages which have been sent/received SINCE you first enrolled in it. It will NOT do so for messages from BEFORE.
    You could restore older messages to your phone with an app such as SMS Backup & Restore, but they won't be on Verizon's servers to access from other locations such as desktop/laptop/tablet.

  • Can't read PDF's in iBooks after upgrade to IOS 5

    After upgrading to IOS 5 (and selecting no sync to avoid PDF's disappearing) I can't open any of my PDF's in iBooks. I can't see covers, and if I select any of them, they only change to a "selected color", but they never open. Please help.

    I just opened iBooks for the first time since upgrading my iPad to iOS 5. At first, I saw all my PDFs, but the cover pages were rendered in generic text. Then... they suddenly disappeared. I had all sorts of important references, manuals, documents for a trip I'm about to take. All gone.
    From what I'm reading here, it looks like I'm not getting them back easily. Even if I can use tools to extract them from a backup (now in iCloud, hmm...) I'll have to get them into another app, so I can use them. If I can't get them back from iCloud, and they're really gone from the iPad, I'm screwed.
    So very un-Apple.
    I'll submit a report to Apple. I hope they fix this, but I'm surprised that such a big bug got through.

  • [SOLVED] I can't get X to run correctly after new install

    Hi all,
    Over the last few days I have been trying to get Arch Linux installed on an old computer that I have. The only major hurdle that I have had so far has been getting wireless to work (no wired connection available here). I got that sorted out yesterday though with a bit of research
    I haven't been so lucky getting X to run though. Following the Beginners' Guide, I have gotten up to the part where I have to configure and test X. This is what I have done so far:
    Basically I have tried to use Xorg -configure to auto-create an Xorg.conf, which seemed to work (as in, the file got created and looked okay).
    I then set up hotplugging with HAL, setting up everything as it says in the Beginner's guide.
    When I ran the Xorg test with X -config /etc/X11/xorg.conf, I got a black screen with no mouse or anything.
    I rechecked xorg.conf to make sure the driver was correct (it's set to "radeon" which seems to be right). I also checked the horizontal and  vertical refresh are set correctly - which they were (autodetected correctly by Xorg -configure).
    I then had a look through the Xorg page on the wiki, but nothing much there seemed to help.
    I then decided to not use hotplugging with HAL, so I removed it from starting at startup and set up my xorg.conf to have the autoadddevices as false.
    After that, I am having the exact same problem when I run the Xorg test (X -config /etc/X11/xorg.conf).
    I really have no clues as to what to do now, does anyone have any tips for an Arch Linux n00b?
    My graphics are provided onboard by an ATI RS480 (Radeon Xpress 200G Series). I am using the "radeon" driver, provided by the xf86-video-ati package. My screen is an LG FLATRON L246WH.
    My relevant config files are:
    xorg.conf xorg.conf
    ~/xinitrc doesn't exist for me.
    /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old isn't able to be uploaded by wgetpaste for some reason... Using the verbose switch indicates that it's saving to /dev/null. I'll keep trying to work out how to get this file uploaded somewhere... it's quite long - 881 lines.

    Did you miss the step to copy the skeleton .xinitrc to your home directory? Please do this. Then try starting X as a normal user, not root.
    You can also try starting the Xserver without any xorg.conf file as jdiez has done. That works for many people.
    To lessen your copy and paste problems, and to help you sort out the logfile, try the following two commands as a normal user in your home directory:
    grep "(EE)" /var/log/Xorg.0.log > xorg_faults
    grep "(WW)" /var/log/Xorg.0.log >> xorg_faults
    This will locate the log lines displaying errors (EE) and then warnings (WW) and write them to the file ~/xorg_faults. Errors will be listed first. This file should be much smaller than the original Xorg.0.log.
    For hot-plugging and HAL, make sure you have dbus installed.
    pacman -Q dbus
    If it's not there, you should install it with pacman.  HAL is supposed to start dbus, but I'm a belt and suspenders person, so I list dbus then hal in my /etc/rc.conf daemons.
    The wiki also has an article on Xorg that may be of help to you.

  • Can't download photos from digital camera after latest software update

    Hi,
    since the latest update on the 28.9.08 I have trouble downloading photos from my Canon Eos 400D. I can't use "Digitale Bilder" anymore, nor Adobe Bridge Photo Downloader or iPhoto. I have to use my partners MacBook that doesn't have the update yet. Could it have something to do with the RAW-Compatibility-Update? And does Apple know and do something about it?
    Or can I fix this myself?

    Same here... I have a Powershot Elph340HS and a SD960IS, I've updated Canon ImageBrowser and CamaraWindow and it just says "no camera detected"... so I used a different usb to make sure it wasn't that, I've tried everything, Preview, iPhoto, even iMovie... all of which worked before for importing from my cameras...
    OS X Yosemite (10.10) I'm on a Macbook Pro

  • IPhone can't find the right back up after updating software

    I updated my software a couple of days ago and backed it up 3 times just to be on the safe side. After updating and trying to restore from back up, the correct back up I made on that day is not showing up. So, now my phone is empty, all has been lost!
    I went onto iTunes and pressed view, preferences and device and I can see the back up on there which is the one i'm after but it won't let me do anything with it. I have been to my local Apple store, but they are always too busy to give all their attention to you. They ran diagnostics and it said that the back up had been successful, but said they did not know how to help me recover that back up and should just look on google for solutions
    Does anyone know how I can recover the back up, as I had all my contacts, pictures, messages, apps, etc on my phone

    I figured it out. When I click on the Australian flag on the bottom right of the Home page, I can access the normal home page with music and movies you can search for. I tried the search window after clicking music and the normal songs and albums came up when I searched an artist's name.
    I tried purchasing a song but it came up with an error message (I think) in Korean so it looks like I cannot purchase while I am in Korea. This really annoys me.
    The Korean iTunes store does not seem to be operating properly. Search comes up with just podcasts and interviews and no songs or albums.
    Even after accessing an English language iTunes store you cannot buy because once you click the buy button it comes up with a Korean page with blurb that one cannot understand if you do not speak the lingo. It doesn't look as if the purchase was successful. I am not going to even try again possibly risking buying something and not even knowing I have bought it (as I do not read Korean). Anyway the one time I tested, it didn't look like it was successful. Forget about it. It looks like I will have to find another way to buy songs. If I am to use the iTunes Store I have to wait to move to an English-speaking country. Thanks Apple for nothing!

    I ran the software update on my G5 & now it wont let me access my hard drive or finder. It will lt me run apps from my dock, but thats it. When it loads it only loads the top toolbar by the clock & thats it. The computer is a workstation & hasn't had access to the internet in 8 months.

    Hi Blake, and a warm welcome to the forums!
    Could be many things, but it's best to start with these two steps, which may fix it also...
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Tiger Mac OS X Install disc , then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, *you must select your language first.)*
    *Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
    5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    6. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
    Then Safe Boot , (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it finishes.
    Safe Boot... holding Shift key down at bootup. Safe Boot is a special way to start Mac OS X 10.2 or later when troubleshooting.

    You could always change the audio track size, but that is not going to give you anywhere near the detail that you will get by
    alt clicking the audio portion of the Timeline file (to temporarily unlink audio from the video and then double clicking that Timeline
    audio file to bring up its waveform in the Preview Window and noting the clap time at playback there.
    With the video and audio relink again, as you can hold down the alt key and tap the left or right arrow key, you can move the Timeline linked clip from right to left or left to right
    for alignment purposes to the clap time.
    When you need only the video portion of the video audio linked file in the Preview Windows, then you omit the alt click on the audio portion.
    If needed, you could always set unnumbered markers at the Timeline level or in the Preview Windows.
    For Timeline video audio nudges....as you hold down the alt key and tap the right or left arrow key once, you get a one frame nudge per tap.
    As you hold down the Shift+Alt and tap the right or left arrow key once, you get a five frames nudge per tap.
    On other matters...
    2. Please look at right clicking the Timeline and looking a Snap option enabled and disabled.
    3. I will think about it some more but I do not see any way to mute the audio for a whole audio track. You can mute the audio for clips on that audio track but not
    shut off the audio to that one particular audio track. If you wanted to do audio clip muting for more than 1 clip at a time, I could see
    a. copy first file that you muted through Adjust Tab/Adjustments/Volume Panel expanded and
    b. then do a Paste Effects and Adjustments for a selection of all of the other audio files on that particular track.

    Welcome to the Support Communities!  If you are not able to connect to the iTunes Store to download iBooks, restart the device.  If the issue persists, try these additional steps:

    If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
    Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
