Contact the place where you purchased the card. You should be able to get another one if you kept your receipt.

How can I find the code for itunes gift cards?

for my account settings its telling me put in a code for my debt card. That I do not have and I selected none, now its saying that I need to put in a code for Itunes Gift cards to move on.

What are you doing with your account (creating it, buying something, ...) and what are you seeing on the screen e.g. are you getting any error message ? The iTunes gift card field is optional - and as iTunes gift cards are not available in all countries, and they are country-specific (they can only be redeemed and used in their country of issue), you may not be able to fill it in anyway.

The iTunes gift card field is optional, you don't have to fill it in - leave it blank if you don't have a gift card.
iTunes gift cards are country-specific (they can only be used in their country of issue), and they are not available in all countries - so you might not be able to dill it anyway.

What do you do when you can't read the code on a iTunes gift card? I tried taking it back to the store with my reciept, but they said I would have to contact Apple support. Am I out just out $25 dollars?

By code, I think you are referring to the code on your iPhone. To sync for the 1st time with iTunes you'll need to enter the code on your iPhone to unlock it. Typically if your phone is unlocked and then connected to your computer, it will lock itself. Just reenter the code. Then you should get another prompt on your iPhone to "trust" your computer so you can sync with it.

Posting the card numbers on a public forum is not a good idea for a start - I've asked the hosts to remove them. What happens when you try to redeem it ? And I assume that you and your iTunes account are based in the same country as that in which the card was issued ? Have you redeemed your iTunes card to an account associated with an Apple ID?
Once you have your iPad associated with an Apple ID AND you have an account with a credit card associated with the same Apple ID AND you have some 'store credit' (from redeeming your iTunes card) then purchases use the store credit before they charge the credit card, so you should be ok!
Personally, I use 'store credit' as a way to monitor whether or not there have been any 'unauthorised' purchases because as soon as the store credit is zero, the security code from the credit card is needed for further purchases! It does mean that I have sometimes to top up store credit before making a purchase, but 'better safe than sorry'!
