  • Can't send files using bluetooth.

When I go to my bluetooth menu and click on "send files" or "browse device" the computer does nothing, I send files to my phone this way before why is not working now?
I checked the help topics and suggest to delete pairing and do it again and I did it but still nothing happening, and both the computer and the phone are discoverable and turned on. I'm able to send files to the computer from the phone but after the file is transfered the connection would end and I don't have the option to say I wanna send files to the phone, also on the phone I don't find the computer as active, but if I try to send a file will go without problem.
I'm guessing is the computer's bluetooth that is messed up, What do I do?
    Any idea?
    Thanks!

For some other reason had to re-install MAC OS 10.4.6 then did an update and when checked the bluetooth was working correctly, so that was the fix for my problem.

  • Can we transfer files using bluetooth

Do you have any idea how slow that process would be? I don't think you do or you wouldn't be asking that question. Some devices support this, but not any iPhones.

    3. Specify directory to which you want to recieve files from Blue tooth device.
    4. Turn Blue tooth off and make it on.

It is normal in the case of the PlayBook, the bluetooth does not support the file transfer protocol, unless it is paired with a BlackBerry phone using the Bridge, and it is limited to receiving pictures and only for viewing on PlayBook not saving
Using the Playbook and the Z10 and the Z30 and loving them

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
    See this KB:
KB05409 Transfer a file using Bluetooth technology between two BlackBerry smartphones
Substitute, in the KB, the appropriate instructions for your other device in place of the KB section for the sending device. Do not skip the "Receive Using BT" step on the receiving BB...nothing will transfer if you do. Also do not skip initiating the send on the sending device -- you said nothing about that, so I must assume you did not do that step.
Good luck and let us know!

Sure, you can upload a file, using a form input element of type file. You pick this up with a servlet, though you need a special request wrapper to sort out the multi-part request you get back that way (there's a suitable package on jakarta.apache.org/commons)
The servlet decrypts the file and can pass the results to a JSP for display.
Don't try to do the complicated stuff in a JSP, it all gets incredibly messy, and that's not what JSPs are for.

  • IPad2 can't connect ipod2 using bluetooth

    IPad2 can't connect ipod2 using bluetooth
why? Can anyone tell the reason?

For what purpose are you trying to connect the two?
Bluetooth between iOS devices is limited to only specific peer-to-peer apps for specific functions (like mutiplayer games).
You cannot just pair the devices, you need an app that specifically uses Bluetooth for communication.

  • How do I send files using Bluetooth on the new Blackberry Curve 3G OS 6?

    Hello everyone,
I have recently updated my BB Curve (9300) software from version 5.0 up to version 6.0 Bundle 1478. I tried to send normal files (pics, videos or even music) via Bluetooth to another device (whether PC or another BB phone) but I could not find the "Send Using Bluetooth" option that I used to have on my old software version (5.0). Also when I tried to receive any file I could not find the option "receive using Bluetooth" that was on version (5.0). Is there any solution? How to send files over Bluetooth on the new BB Operating System (6.0)?
    Thanks

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Please double check the steps in this KB to ensure you are following them all:
KB05409 Transfer a file using Bluetooth technology between two BlackBerry smartphones
As you discovered, for receipt, there is no longer, under 6.0, the requirement for "Receive Using BT" step on the receiving BB.
Good luck and let us know!
