I can't register any credit card on my Apple ID.

When I input credit card information on my Apple ID. It tells me to contact support regardless if the information I enter is correct or not. Meaning it doesn't tell me if my information on the credit card is wrong (e.g. enter a valid security card number, etc.). But I have been able to use a credit card before and made a purchase. Now I can't register any kind of credit card. It just says "contact iTunes support" which I already did. I just made this discussion to hear from other users who have experienced the same problem or if anyone knows what to do. Thank you!

i have similar concerns , when i enter the card number and the system picks it my next challenge becomes the security code. it always replys back that the security code enterd is not valid. i just do not know what to do

I have the *exact* same issue I think. Even though I'm running ios8.1, the passbook screen shows the old ios8.0.2 screen which doesn't include the abilty to add a credit card. Also, in the settings screen I don't see the Passbook option (in the section with iCloud and iTunes & App Store) where you're supposed to see the new Passbook option. I called Apple Support last night and they suggested backing up my phone and restoring to ios8.1 factory defaults. Did that, signed in with my appleID without doing a restore from backup and it still didn't work (i.e. wasn't given the ability to add Credit Card). I have an USA itunes account using a USA credit card and live in NYC. The applid ID is a shared ... maybe that's the reason it's not working?

You have to do this from ITunes on your computer. You can't do it from itunes.com.
First start ITunes. On the left side of the screen, go to Store and then ITunes Store. From the Quicklinks on the right side of the screen, go to Account. After you sign in, you will see your account and payment information. Click on Edit next to Payment Type. Click None, next to Visa MasterCard Amex Discover. It will then remove your credit card from your ITunes Account.

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.

What type of card is it that she is trying to use, credit or debit ? Debit cards are no longer accepted in all countries, not sure about here in the UK (but I don't think that they are).
For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) as on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. When she contacted her bank they confirmed that they weren't declining the card ? The £48, each time that a card is added/changed on an account (or attempted to be added) a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on the iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

I can't seem to remove my previous card details from my Apple ID, it keeps requesting me to enter the security code for that previous credit card.
My card was stolen from me so I have no idea whats the CVS code anymore. But you are not giving me an option to change a new credit card in that section. This is causing my iPhone's App store to keep disabling the Apple ID. This is my 4 password change today trying to fix this problem.

It happens on Mac App Store & iPhone App store as well.

On your computer iTunes:

1. Sign out of current Apple ID if you are sign-in to one (important)
2. Go to App Store and select a free app

Part of the validation for cards is that they are registered to the same name and address as on your iTunes account, prepaid cards tend not to be so won't be accepted.
What you owe isn't shown on the payment details screen of your account ? If iTunes gift cards are available in your country then you should be able to redeem them onto you account so that you can your debt, after which you should get the 'none' option so that you can remove the prepaid card.
