I can't reinstall photoshop elements 12 on new macbook air

i have purchased a card from shop which i have redeemed,i now want to install onto my new boom air, but when i put in code it says opps, I've signed in as different user, this has taken hours and hours,can you please help, i bought it and registered it with < removed >.

I'm guessing that your card had a redemption code on it. That only works once. What you need to install PSE is the serial number you got with that card. If you go to the main page of adobe.com and log in with the email you used (It totally doesn't matter if it's no good anymore as an address), then click on Manage Account, you should find your serial number there. Incidentally, if possible I would change your password now that you've shared it with the world.

    The hard drive in the MacBook Air is not meant to be user replaceable. Further, the OS installed on your MacBook would likely not run the MacBook Air.
    A better solution might be to use the Migration Assistant to move your data to the new computer. This comes up when you are setting up the new computer for the first time.

    Did you only reinstall it, or did you reactivate it? It seems that you have to reactivate your photoshop on one computer before you can install it to another one. I didn't manage to reactivate my photoshop, so i can't help you further. There must be a reactivate button on the Help menu but not on my Mac. So if you didn't use the deactivate button, you have to install Photoshop again on your old computer and then use the deactivate button.
    Hope it works for you. Maybe look first on your new computer if there's a deactivate button.

    I have Photoshop Elements 2 on a CDwhich was installed on my Vista computer. I had to reformat the computer because of malware and I lost all the Adobe photoshop Elements files. Now when I put the CD in and  try to re-install it I get as far as clicking on the button to install Photoshop Elements 2 but nothing happens. I do not get any error message. I do have the serial number. Is there any way round this please ?

    After you copy the files to your hard drive, go to the Adobe Photoshop Elements folder
    and run the Setup.exe from there by right clicking on the Setup.exe and choosing Run as Administrator
    Once in a while it takes a few miniutes for things to start happening.

    You can install a Single License on upto two machines. So Yes, it should work fine on the second computer as well provided the fact that you have not used by the activation elsewhere.

    The trial version is a complete product and can be activated by

    That version of Elements may not install on your version of OS X. Not sure what you mean by Driver. Do you mean the Program? Can you download the Program? you may be able to but then again I'm not sure whether PS Elements 8 will work with OS X Mt Lion 10.8.2.
    As to a CD/DVD drive you can buy any brand, Make and Model, External CD/DVD drive that connects through a USB port. It does not have to sold by or have the Apple name on it for it to work with your Mac. There are many models that sell for about $30 that will work without problem on your Mac. In fact they are usually better then what Apple sells for that inflated $79 price because they are Tray Load instead of Slot Load.

    Having the same issue. Iphone 4 at 5.0.1, Itunes at 10.5.1 iMac at 10.7.2. Synch session fails to start either wi fi or USB connected. Don't know if it is related, but since turning on Match the Music app crashes on the iPhone. No problems on iPad 1, though

    Well, that's another lesson learned: Always get a DVD and don't count on any Adobe customer service. Buying new is pushed everywhere, getting any service or help from Adobe on stuff you bought in the past is not to be found... Guess it doesn't exist.
    I will just go have a look at what the competitors have to offer.
