I can't remove iphone app from my update list on my imac and macbook pro. Getting daily requests and reminders to update

My computer daily reminds me to update an Iphone/Ipad app to my macbook pro and to my imac. The app is not installed on these devices and is also deleted from my iphone/ipad. There is no way to update because it says it is not possible with my apple id, and not on these devices. I cannot find the Angry birds app that it wants to update in my programs either. How do remove this from the updates?

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store alert. For example, the App Store could prompt you to update "Angry Birds" or "Twitter," but the hacked app could be "Final Cut Pro." Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you must carry out a systematic search with Spotlight.
1. Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:
kMDItemAppStoreHasReceipt=1
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
2. In the Finder, press command-F to open a search window, or select
          File ▹ Find
from the menu bar. In the search window, select
          Search: This Mac
from the row of tokens below the toolbar. Below that is a popup menu of search criteria, initially showing Kind. From that menu, select
          Other...
A sheet will drop down. In that sheet, select
          Raw Query
as the criterion, then click OK or press return.
Now there will be a text box to the right of the menu of search criteria. That's where you enter the raw search query. Click in that box and paste the text you copied earlier by pressing command-V.
3. The search window will now show all the App Store products that are installed. Compare those search results with the list of your purchases from the App Store. To see the complete list, you may need to unhide hidden purchases. If any apps were download from the App Store using other Apple ID accounts that you control, sign in to the store under each of those ID's and check the purchases.
4. At least one of the apps in the Spotlight search results is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash, after quitting it if it's running. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
5. Quit and relaunch the App Store. Test.
If you find these instructions confusing, ask for an alternative method.

  • If my iphone, ipad, MAC and macbook pro are all linked, and then I upgrade only my phone to iOS 7.0, does that have an effect on my calendar, etc.  It doesn't seem to be showing the same data it was before the update.  Lost lot of info from calendar.

If my iphone, ipad, MAC and macbook pro are all linked, and then I upgrade only my ipone to IOS 7.0, does that have an effect on the linking to my other MAC products.  It seems my calendar has lost a lot of information since the upgrade.

If you purchased Lion for your iMac, just log into the Mac App Store from your MacBook using the Apple ID under which you purchased Lion and go to the Purchases page. You will be able to download and install Lion there.
searching the internet i found a link to upgrtade to 10.7
The only place you get get Lion is from the Mac App Store. If you found some other site, that was an illegal copy and almost certainly tied to someone else's Apple ID and hence unusable by you. If the link was just to the Mac App Store, see above.
As to the problem with synchronization to iCloud, that's not a 10.6 question, so I'd suggest you take up that specific issue in either the Lion or iCloud forums, providing full details, and someone there can probably help you sort things out.
    Regards.

  • How do I activate continuity calls on my macbook pro? I have an iPhone 6 and Macbook Pro Retina Mid 2014 and I live in Dubai

I have an iPhone 6 and Macbook Pro Retina Mid 2014 and I live in Dubai, I bought my macbook from Canada and iPhone from UAE so it doesn't have FaceTime but i should be able to get calls on my mac right?

If you set your imessage off on your phone it will only turn it off on your phone i think I don't think it effects your mac. I'm not 100% sure on this though.
If you want to remove imessages from your mac  -  Open iMessage, go to Messages top left, and then select Preferences. Select "Accounts" and then simply "Sign out" That should do it.

  • Can't remove an app from my Iphone

I have an iPhone 4s, updated to the latest iOS
I recently updated some apps on my iPhone, all of them bar one updated normally. The app in question was 'updating' for around three days, stuck at 3/4 of the way through updating. There were were no interruptions during the updating and like I said, all the other apps updated normally. After around three days I tried a hard reset of my phone to see what would happen. As soon as my phone came back on and I tapped the app, it started 'updating' again, and went 3/4 of the way before stopping again.
So I tried deleting the app. The name at the bottom of the app went, but the actual app icon stayed. If I tap and hold it the shaky 'x' comes up to delete the app, but it just says "Deleting " " will also delete all of it's data." it doesn't display the name of the app, and again, the actual icon doesn't go.
If I go back to the appstore, it says I can redownload the app from the store (with the cloud and arrow button) and if I press that, once again the app highlights that it's loading, but stops around 3/4 of the way.
So then I connected to itunes on my laptop and tried to remove it that way. Even though on the screen/shelf view of my phone on  itunes it shows that the app is there, if i try searching for it though itunes isn't showing the app, and on itunes there's no 'x' that comes up when I hover over the app, like it appears on the others.
I can't think of another way to delete the app, but I want it gone from my phone. If I can't remove it from my phone using itunes, and can't remove it from my actual phone, how else can I get rid of it. I've turned my phone on and off, I've hard reset, I've closed all the apps in the background... I can't think of anything else.

    So, what's the App called?
    Pete

  • How can I remove an App from my iMac?

I downloaded an App from the Mac App Store and it's rubbish, so I want to get rid of it. I can't drop it into Trash (it just stays in Applications) and there's no option to remove if I right-click on it.

  • Can't remove expired apps from memory card

I have an N73 and had some applications with a developers certification installed to my memory card. I then did a firmware upgrade. Now every time I start the phone it wants to install these applications but fails and tells me to upgrade via the Application Manager. In the Application Manager these apps are listed as uninstalled, if I try to remove them it fails due to expired certificate (which is probably true). But I can't remove them either, and haven't found any files to delete browsing the card. Suggestions?

This worked for one app--actually I could install it and after resetting the clock it still runs fine. Didn't think the certificate mechanism was so unintelligent.
One app didn't work anyway, it might've gotten corrupted. Found I could mount my memory card to my desktop and search for the application code, which was listed in the Application Manager, and manually delete all references to it.

  • Can I remove unwanted apps from LMS 3.2

is that possible to remove DFM and IPM from LMS 3.2 I have never used and LMS appears to be slow and i am thinking  trimming some unwanted apps may help. thanks.

9 out of 10 times I have found marginally performing LMS servers to be suffering from under-provisioned memory. That is especially true on older Windows-based servers that didn't support server 64-bit OS along with the greater addressable memory ( > 4GB) they enable.

  • How can I remove an app from ipod touch permanently?

Hello, I have installed a free game app in my ipod toch but I do not have much free memory left and I would like to remove it permanently. I know about pressing on the touch screen and deleting it with the x, but I need to remove it so that it doens't take up memory. Thank you! Regards!

That is the only way to remove the app.  Resetting the iPod may help get back some of the storage space.
Reset iPod touch:  Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  • Can I transfer my music from a Windows formatted iPod to my new MacBook Pro?

I just ordered a 15 inch 2.3 ghz MacBook Pro and I can't wait to get it. The only thing I am wondering is if I will have any trouble transferring all of my music from my Windows formatted iPod (8gb 3rd generation iPod Nano) to the new MacBook Pro. Should I be able to follow all the steps in this article without any problems?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ryan

In the iPod's user manual should be instructions on how to put the iPod into disk mode so that it will appear as an external hard drive. You can then copy your music to the Mac.

    anybody can help?
How can I change the language from USA to Chinese? I already select in setup.

If it didn't take for some reason, go to System Preferences… and select the Languages & Text preference pane and reorder the languages accordingly.
Note however that specifying a language may not necessarily change everything about a system to being in that language.
