I can´t remove pictures

I have a picture folder on my Ipad that I can´t remove. The other folders in Pictures application can I remove..
Can a folder be protected and not removed?
Anyone who know how to do with this?

Not sure when you say it now, it was while since I added them there. Can I delete it with my computer or must I use the computer I transfered the files from?
The old mac doesn´t work anymore that I may have used..
One typically removes them with the iTunes account on the computer they synced them from.  That said, if you have set up iTunes on another computer and authorized that iTunes account with your Apple ID and Password and you have been syncing with that computer, transferring all purchases etc., to that account, you should be able to click on photos in iTunes and uncheck the photos in that folder to take them off your iPad.

how can i remove pictures from my droid turbo without having to use the touch screen on the phone at all?  my screen is cracked and i am waiting on a replacement phone.  as far as i can tell in order to access the phone storage through my computer, i have to use the touchscreen to enable it so that the computer will see it as a camera.  I can't do that as the top half of the touschscreen is unresponsive.  any suggestions?  teaches me to use the backup services offered in the future, but i still need a short term solution for this time.

I'm sorry to hear your screen is cracked spence425. I know its difficult to use the phone while its damaged. I'm happy you are receiving a replacement device. Have you saved any of your pictures and other data to the cloud? Here is a link about the cloud http://vz.to/1mF0GIx . Unfortunately, you will be unable to remove any data from the phone if the screen is unresponsive but if you are looking to transfer data to your new phone, it would have needed to be saved via the cloud first. Keep us posted.

If the pictures were synced from a computer to the iOS device then they are removed the same way.  Connect the device to the computer.  Tell iTunes what to sync and sync.

  • Is there any way I can view / remove pictures from Camera Roll on the iPhone, on a Mac, without actually importing the files?

Is there any way I can view / remove pictures from Camera Roll on the iPhone, on a Mac, without actually importing the files? I just want to view / delete files without importing them.
For instance I have 1200 photos on my iPhone Camera Roll. Some of these are shots, that I've taken multiple times, some good, some bad. I just want to clean up my Camera Roll, but going through the pictures on the iPhone's small screen is tedious. I'd much rather look at the camera roll's photo's on my Mac, and then decide which files I'd like to keep, and which to delete.
I don't want to import the files, as when I import the files, and delete them from Camera Roll, now the Photo's are not on my phone, and the only way to get them back on my Phone is to Import them back in using iTunes, and then they go into the Picture Library and not the Camera Roll.
In the same way as I can view Pics from my digital camera's SD card on a Mac without having to actually copy them to my computer, is there any app out there that will let me view my iPhone pics without importing them.

    The short answer is yes.
Connect your iPhone to your computer.
    Open Image Capture application.
Click on the 4 little squares at bottom to view them as photos, not a list.
Select the photos them click the No Entry icon at bottom to delete.

Depends on where these photos came from. If they were synced from a computer, you'll need to sync them off by unchecking the folder the pictures are in from  iTunes on the computer.
If they were taken by the iPad or downloaded you should have a little trashcan icon at the top of the screen  you can use when viewing the image.

  • How can I remove pictures from the picture file?

I have alot of pictures in the picture folder for
    the desktop background and screensaver.
But there is no option to move to trash or delete.
And, it won't let you drag them to the trash.
I would like to remove them, can someone tell me?
    Thanks in advance, John

You will need follow this progression click on:
Finder (in dock) -> (Your User Account)-> Pictures,
when there choose the folders or pictures you want to delete, you can either drag and drop into trash or you can right click and get a drop down menu that will give you the option of "Move to Trash."
You can choose multiple pictures or files by holding down the Apple Command key and clicking on the ones you want to remove.
Please report by choosing Yes this helped or No it didn't.
    Good luck,... its easy

  • Hi please tell me how can I remove picture frame from lock screen

    ?

You can only turn it off if you have a passcode on the lock screen - in which case you do it via Settings > General > Passcode Lock > Picture Frame off. If you don't have a passcode lock then you can't disable it

  • I have a picture behind my trash can. I cannot remove it. How can I remove this. I have restarted and it remains.

I was trying to remove photos from my photo stream by putting them in the trash can. A picture is stuck behind it. How can I remove it. I have restarted and still no luck.

Temporarily move your dock to the left side of the screen in System Preferences > Dock.
Then grab the picture and move it.  Return the dock to the bottom.

  • How can I remove the pictures in photo stream? I have already turn off my photostream at the settings but when i turn it on again, the pictures still come out?

How can I remove the pictures in photo stream? I have already turn off my photostream at the settings but when i turn it on again, the pictures still come out?

Ok you can reset the stream from www.icloud.com
    Goto www.icloud.com
Login with your iCould username and password.
    and login
Then click on your name in the top right hand side of the screen next to sign out,
it opens a window Account details with Language, Time Zone, Advanced
Select Advanced - Then click Reset Photo Stream. and confirm, the stream will be reset and totally deleted
I still think you should be able to remove individual pictures though, a blured image etc is a problem

  • How can I remove this purple grid (see picture)?

I got an INDD document to complete from someone else and it contains this purple grid (see picture).
How can I remove it? (I don't need it)
    Thanks
    Christian

It's just guide lines, they will not show up in your final product. (Well ... unless you happen to have checked "Include Guides" on exporting to PDF.) Switching to "Preview" mode will hide them from view.
You can safely ignore them, for anything you are designing. Just pretend they are not there. If you find objects are snapping to these guides (which is one of their primary functions), toggle off "Snap to Guides".
You can't switch them off *entirely*. You can set the number of columns to "1" (it seems to be set to "4" here), but you'd still have the *outer* guides, indicating the default text margins for your document. You can set these margins to "0" , but then the purple lines are drawn on top of the actual page border, which may still be somewhat distracting.

  • How can i stretch pictures in picture library webpart and remove the home tab that comes with the site

    Hello people
how can i stretch images to fit into my picture library webpart?
also how can i remove the Home tab that comes with change the look.

    Hi,
    Let’s verify the following:
Whether you use the picture  library web part or Image Viewer web part or Picture Library Slideshow Web Part.
I think you should custom the web part to stretch images to fit into your web part. There is no OOTB method to achieve it.
Whether the home tab is your library name.
To remove the Home tab, edit the web part->Appearance->”Chrome” choose none.
