I can't reset my Apple ID password and not getting reset emails
I tried to reset my Apple ID password, but the reset email is going to some address other than the two in my profile. How can I reset my password or get the required email to do it myself.

I just reset my apple ID password and now all the imap folders in Apple Mail are greyed out. I can see the contents, but I don't get whay the folders are all greyed out. Can anyone help? Sorry for the long title on this message...
Assuming this is an iCloud mail account, sign out of iCloud in its preference pane, then sign back in with the new password.

I reset my apple id password, but still get the message that this account is disabled. I can log on online just fine, just not on ipod.

cant finish a hard reset on iphone 4, i cant access my apple account as i forgot the password and cant get a reset sent to the email address i had as thats been deleted, does anyone have any ideas? i still have the box the iphone4 came in so i do have the serial no.
Going to Apple is pointless. They will not do anything to help. Activation lock is an anti-theft feature.
If the seller "forgot" the pasword for her Apple ID, then she needs to re-set it so that it can be used to unlock the phone. If she says she can't for some reason, demand your money back. If she refuses, I stand by the statement that the phone is most likely stolen.

I lost my passwrod and my e-mail address has now changed. On the support page I cannot reset my password without my old e-mail and I cannot change my e-mail address without my password. Any thoughts?
You apparently did not migrate your MobileMe account to iCloud before 1 August? In this case your MobileMe account has been permanently deleted and all its contents lost, as was announced over a year ago.
Your signature says your Mac has 10.6.8; you cannot set up an iCloud account on that. However you can reactivate your @me.com address (though not retrieve its contents including any aliases) by going to Settings>iCloud on your iPhone (iOS5 required), signing in with your @me.com address and password, and enabling Mail in the list there.
That done, you can set up Mail manually on Snow Leopard to access your iCloud email:

i believe someone has hacked my itunes account, and i am trying to reset my itunes password. after hitting "reset pasword" on the Apple site, it says it will send an email confirmation.. and no email yet... it has been 20 min. any thoughts?

1. Start here (change country if necessary) and navigate to 'Password and Security', reset your security questions using the link provided, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.
2. If that doesn't help, you don't receive a reset email or you don't have a rescue address, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.

Resetting PIX 515E 'enable' password and/or Factory Reset
We have a PIX Firewall where the last user of the device had not changed the 'enable' password and username so we are locked out of the device. I did some research and found a password reset tool that was supposed to clear the 'enable' password on the device. I set up a TFTP with the 'np61.bin' file needed. I went into 'monitor>' mode, set the interface, address and server address and it pings with success. I pointed it at the file and sent the 'tftp' command. I saw it downloading and booting off the binary file and after letting it go for a little bit (I walked away for a little while and came back to my telnet prompt) I noticed it was stuck in a loop:
No bootable image in flash. Please download an image from a network server in the monitor mode
Failed to find an image to boot
Rebooting......
I downloaded a copy of the latest firmware, 'pix804-28.bin', and repeated the process used for the password reset file. After loading, I am greeted with my familiar prompt:

I then did a hard reset, and was stuck back in the loop I was in before, asking me to reflash a boot image. I now need to somehow load the IOS back onto the router (As it seems to just be booting from the TFTP server), and then after that still remove the enable password or somehow default the entire firewall to Factory Defaults. If anyone knows how to solve my issue or has any ideas for me to try, you help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!Still having trouble with this, has no one encountered this problem before?

Resetting the accounts services password does not send an email.
I have reformatted my both machines and now realize that I don't have my password and recovery key for the firefox sync.
When I try to reset my password on the account service, I see the notification that an email has been sent to my email address the password. However, the email never arrives. I have tried this few times.
This is exactly same as issue described in
http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/795711It appears there is a problem with some of the email notifications. This will [https://support.mozilla.org/forums/contributors/708662 be] being looked into. As you will be aware bugs have been filed and will be receiving attention from engineers.
I suggest you try again in say 24 hours and post back if you continue to have problems. You could also follow some of the other threads about this subject. -

Forgot apple id password and no longer have email access
I used my college email address as my apple id. After graduation I lost access to my email.
Never bothered to change it because I don't buy aps or music or anything. When i got my iPad for christmas two years ago I used that apple id.
I am now trying to use that iPad again and I cannot remember the password. There is a box that pops up every few seconds that keeps prompting me, but I don't remember. I can't use the iPad at all for longer than 3 seconds without being prompted from the password.
I cannot be the first person that this has happened to, can I?Go to http://iforgot.apple.com to get it straightened out.

After upgrading to Mavericks, we started getting a message "This computer is already associated with an Apple ID. If you download past purchases with your apple ID, you cannot auto-download or download past purchases with a different Apple ID for 90 days" message.
My husband and I have separate iPhones and iPads. We share an iMac, but we have separate logins. After this upgrade, one of us is always locked out of downloading purchases we made on our devices to the shared iMac.
If this creates a problem for us, surely it creates a problem for bigger families sharing one computer too? Anybody have an idea on a work-around?
We never had any problem with using 2 accounts on this machine for the past 2 years until Mavericks.hmm, that's a trick one! what I would do is go to Messages>preferences>accounts and then select imessages and then select account details and then sign out. Then your wife will need to sign in with her apple id.

simply adding both of your accounts to be reached at will prove to be faulty because when you reply you can only reply with the one email address. And even if you switch caller id's it probably still won't work. So I think my method would be the easiest way to do that at this time.
