I can't resize frames in InDesign CC 2014. Is there a setting for this?
All was working fine at first. Now I can't resize any frames once they are drawn on the page. I can move them, just not resize them. I'm on deadline--a speedy answer is appreciated!
Ah. I've figured out the issue -- it's not that I can't resize them. It's just that there is suddenly such a long response time from when I hold down the mouse button that I didn't realize it eventually would resize.
Which is still a problem, but probably has to do with my computer memory.

I am using Mail with OS 10.9.1. I used to be able drag and drop names from my address book into the address header, but can no longer do that. I now have to type each name in. Does anyone know if there is a setting for this or is it a feature of the updated software? Thanks for any info!
Yes, that appears how Mavericks works right now. However, you can open the Address Panel, select all your contacts, then click the To (or CC, or Bcc) buttons to move the selection to the address field.
If it is not already in the Toolbar, right-click on the Toolbar and select Customize Toolbar…
Then, drag the address panel up to wherever you want it.
You may also want to add it to the New Message window in the same way. -
Can one resize frames in Safari
If a web page has multiple frames sometimes you can change the size of the frames by clicking and dragging on the border between them. I haven't been able to make this work with Safari. Is there a trick?

Since upgrading my iPhone 4 to the new ios6 software I can no longer access itunes through the itunes app. I there a fix for this yet?

Why would there be a fix? YOU are having the problem. I'm not, no one I know is having the problem. No fix is needed.
Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Have you been through any, if not all of these troubleshooting steps yet? -
i am trying to now install a free trial of indesign because despite paying $50+ a month for this supposed service I cannot open an indesign file I've been sent and need to do work on it urgently. I have now signed in again for a free one month trial and it claims to be downloading but this is not happening at all. I am on a Macbook Air and Abobe for my $600 a year membership you have totally ruined by Friday night. If there's a human being out there at Abode please respond now

Upgraded to Lion & can no longer finger swipe for/backwards between pages. Is there a fix for this?
Title says it all. I just upgraded to Mac OS X Lion, and can no longer use a finger swipe, whether one or 2 fingered, to move backwards an forwards between pages. I can still do so in Safari, but not in Firefox 5.01, my preferred browser, any longer. Doesn't matter if I try using one, two or more fingers

However, I have been able to three-finger swipe forward and back on webpages by going to ''system preferences'' > ''trackpad settings'' > ''more gestures''

I recently upgraded the software on my iPad 2 to iOS8.02. Since upgrading the iPad is running slower and choppier, with several apps no longer working. In addition, it keeps knocking me off my cellular data and showing no service. Is there any fix for this, or can I downgrade the iOS back to 7?
I'm sorry, but Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS. Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums.

I've had a fault with the hard drive on my laptop, it's been replaced and now my iphone and ipod can not sync unpurchased items with itunes. Is there anyway of sorting this without uploading all of my CD's again?

Instead of getting a wireless card for the Mac Pro, you might want to consider getting an 802.11ac wireless bridge device that would enable you to connect more than one device to it by Ethernet cable and to eventually take advantage of the faster 802.11ac wireless standard.

I don't like itunes 10 and so I'm using itunes 9. However, now my phone can't connect to itunes because it says it requires itunes 10.5 or later. Is there a workaround for this?

No sorry. You need to upgrade to v10.5 Leopard (minimum) in order to sync an iPhone 4.
iPhone minimum requirements:
Mac computer with USB 2.0 port
Mac OS X v10.5.8 or later
iTunes 10.1 or later
iTunes Store account
Internet access
You can upgrade to Leopard if your Mac meets v10.5 requirements.
Requirements for Mac OS X v10.5
