I can't resize the reply window in Mac Mail

My mail is working fine.
If I write a new email it all looks okay.
If I reply or forward an email the window is so wide it would stretch maybe 3 times the width of my screen, so if I want to use any of the tools in the top right toolbar I have to drag the window across.
I can resize up and down to make the window taller or shorter but I can't make it fit onto my screen widthways.
I have rebooted, hit zoom and now I'm stumped.
Any suggestions?

Working with the application window on Mac OS
In Normal screen mode on Mac OS, resize the application window by dragging its lower right corner.
Click the green Zoom button (), located beside the Close and Minimize buttons at the left of the title bar. The application window expands to fill the screen. Click the Zoom button again to return to the previous window size.
Reposition the application window on your screen by dragging the title bar.

When we open the mail on our ipad, there is a inbox window shows up at the left on top of a mail.

As far I'm aware, what you're asking to do is not a native feature of iPad. In other words, I don't believe this can be done.

Can you resize the inspector window in FCPX 10.1.3

I am using FCP X 10.1.3 the trial version to check it out. I am running it on an iMac mid 2011 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 with a 27 in screen. When i go into the inspector the window is (of course) way to the right as you look at the monitor and what i consider small. I have tried everything that i know of and it just seems that i can not make that window any bigger. There is no "seam" for the mouse to drag and resize that i can find. I can resize all the other windows but not the inspector. Is it even possible in this version?

I saw a suggestion to hold the sleep/wake button and the home button for 10 seconds until the apple logo appeared and I tried this...it solved the problem...the tool bar is back. Thanks.

How can I override the hyperlink underline in mac mail 4.5 OS 10.6.8

I have designed a signature with hyperlinks to my email and my website. No matter what I do, I can't seem to remove the underline that accompanies the link ability. I have tried command U and by going through the menu options in the Font section. Does anyone know how to do this?

How can I resize the itunes window in mavericks if the window is larger than the screen?
Since the window is larger than the screen I cannot use the scroll-bar anymore properly...
And since resizing is in the lower right corner that leaps out of the screen I can't resize it...

The problem is that I did erase the partition, using disk utility, but I can't go back to my original disk size pre-partition, as disk utility won't let me do it and gives the message "Couldn’t modify partition map because file system verification failed." When I try to use Boot Camp Assistant it won't let me select the third option to remove windows.

The iWeb .Mac slideshow, which you previously tried to add in an iframe, does have a function to resize the window. But it would not cause the whole window to resize, just page within the iframe so you would never know.
However, the autoviewer one you are using should not do this.

Which operating system are you using?
On a windows os, usually one can just double click on the title bar in the open dialog.

I have Firefox 6. How do I resize the download window? It is currently maximised, but I want to work with a smaller window by default. The Size option is greyed out.

I have no possibility to change the size of the current download window or to define a new default download window size and position.

If you can't resize the window (try Alt+Space) then you may have to reset the toolbars.

Visual nodes not updating unless I resize the application window

I'm not sure what has happened here but I can add new nodes and use my app as normal but there is no longer any change on screen to indicate modified nodes until I resize the application window!
Once i double click the top of the app window sure enough I can see the new nodes that were added.. this is very frustrating.. Any ideas what this could be?
I went back to an older version of my app and it is occurring with that also so it isn't new changes to the app. Is my javafx broken somehow?

This is really weird... I reinstalled java, javafx, and netbeans and it didn't rectify the problem immediately. After a few days I came back to netbeans and tried the application and it was working properly. Without changing anything.
Now again, I shutdown and restarted the PC and have come back to netbeans and the application will not update moved objects on screen unless you resize the window!
This is really crazy... I literally had this application working perfectly for several days before I shut down my PC (I usually just sleep the computer for days on end until it needs a reboot).
Restarted PC and the old problem came back... I'm running Windows 7 64 bit... Am I going crazy? I don't feel this is code related!

How can i resize the "loops pane" on the side of garageband?

When ever i open garageband and open the Loops thing, it comes up but is too big in comparison to the central pane. I just want to make it smaller.

The Loop browser and the track have a fixed size. You can only hide the Loop Browser by pressing the Loops button in the footer to make the time line longer.
Or drag the resize corners to enlarge the GarageBand application window. Have you set your display to the maximum possible resolution in the for your screen in the System preferences > Display?
If you have only a small 13" screen, try to resize the GB WIndow beyond the bounds of the screen by pushing the trackheads beyond the left border and dragging the right resize corner.

How can I keep the browser window stretched across my two displays?

I run am trying to run dual monitor setup and have the Firefox browser span the two monitors. Whenever a Firefox dialog opens, such as Preferences or Print, the window zooms to fit the one primary monitor. How can I keep the browser window stretched across my two displays?

Resizing the iTunes window

Apologies for the seemingly silly question, but i can't resize my iTunes window as the little square at the bottom right corner is below the dock, and i can't raise the window high enough to expose it as the top toolbar stops it.
The green button just shrinks the window into an unexpandable control panel.
Any ideas?

I hate the new downloads-in-a-tab scheme. This was an unnecessary change in my book (if it aint broke, don't "fix it").
So in order to get it back, I performed the about:config browser.download.useToolkitUI change, but now all I get is a blank download window that pops up every time I download something.
Is there something else that I need to do? I've checked the change and it was saved, but it didn't resolve my issue as much as it just caused me a new issue.
