  • I can no longer see my edit, view,bookmarks,tools, and help menu at the top of the page, left hand side..they're gone

    the little menu at the top left where you can seeEdit, File Bookmarks ,tools and help is not on my browser anymore. Why not?

    For details of how to restore it, see the [[menu bar is missing]] article.

  • Why can't I find file,edit, view favorites, tools and help features?

    I downloaded firefox, but I can't see file,edit,veiw, favorites or tools. Why can I not see these items? and why does firefox crash so many times?

    To restore the menu bar see [[menu bar is missing]].
    For it crashing, the [[Firefox crashes]] article is a good starting place. If it submits crash reports to Mozilla, can you post some of the crash report IDs (the link above shows how to find them). The crash report IDs may help somebody identify the cause for your crashes.

  • How can i move the "File" "Edit" "History" "Bookmarks" "Tools" menus to the right side of the Firefox window instead of having them on the left side?

    The Customize feature doesn't support this action.

    You want to slide the contents of the menu bar all the way to the right?
    You could do this with a style rule, either in a userChrome.css file or using the Stylish extension. Here's a sample rule:
    @namespace url(http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul);
    #toolbar-menubar {
    position:relative !important;
    #menubar-items {
    position:absolute !important; right:0; top:0;

  • I recently lost the capability to "view" the "File, Edit, History bookmarks, tools & help" bar from the top of my screen, as well as the "Start" button on the bottom of the screen.

    How do I get the "File, Edit, History, Bookmarks, Tools & Help Bar to appear on my browser. I also need my "Previous Page & Next Page" arrow... and my "Start" button to appear at the bottom of my screen. I can't navigate without these.

    Be sure you are not in Full Screen Mode. The F11 key will toggle Full Screen Mode on or off. If you have no Firefox toolbars, tab bar, etc., you are probably in Full Screen Mode; your Windows Taskbar (with the "Start" button) will also not be visible.
