I can't run AfterEffects CS6 or CC using Mavericks HELP!

i have updated all the software and uninstalled and re-installed but when i try to open either version i get this message:
You can't use this version of the application "Adobe After Effects CS6" with this verson of OS X.
You have "Adobe After Effects CC" 11.0
OR
You can't use this version of the application "Adobe After Effects CC" with this verson of OS X.
You have "Adobe After Effects CC" 12.0
all other CS6 and CC launch fine, though Premiere is unstable.
Please help - i am in the middle of a project and have a deadline!

I just tried to update (using Bridge CC) but I get a message that says:
Bridge is unable to check for updates.
The most likely causes for this failure are an inability to connect to the internet or being logged in as a non-administrative user.
I am connected to the internet and I am properly logged in.
Help!

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Open a Finder window, select Applications in the sidebar and look for iMovie. Make sure there are no external disks connected, and if so, disconnect them, open the App Store and install iMovie.
You can also use Spotlight to look for iMovie, so press Command and Space keys and type iMovie

Can I run Photoshop CS6 Extended on an early 2009 iMac?

I'm running my early 2009 24" iMac on OS X Lion 10.7.5. It has a 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 8 GB RAM, which all fit the requirements specified by Adobe. The display uses NVIDIA GeForce GT 130 512MB. Adobe lists an "OpenGL 2.0-capable system" as a requirement, but I can't tell if this iMac's GPU qualifies. Does anyone have experience running PS CS6 on a similarly configured machine?

You can install directly - you can actually no longer download Mavericks anyway. Make sure you have sufficient RAM (at least 4GB) and hard drive space.
You won't be able to run some older software like Office 2004 so check third-party applications before you upgrade. And make sure you have a backup, preferably using Time Machine.

I have an HP Pavilion dv6
Processor: AMD A8-3500 APU w/Radeon Graphics 1.50
Graphics card: AMD Radeon(TM) HD 6620G
System: PC Windows 7 Home Premium (SP1)
Memory: 8gb
The total Performance score is 5.9 (due to the graphics card) but the Processor is a 6.6 out of 7 if that means anything....
Im not really concerned with speed as much as I am concerned with it actually running..... (I am fine with being in the middle of the pack on rendering times)
I am looking at getting the Production Premium pack and this is the only program im not sure will run.... (which is why i posted this question here)
I had a CS5 trial on this same laptop (same specs) and everything ran fine, but since I cannot purchase cs5 i need to know if I can run cs6 with this Processor (or other components) or if I need to get a new one(s)....
Let me know if there are any other specs that you need or questions that you have....

The hard drive I can do.... not sure about the ram....
The bulk of the projects I do are Primer based cut, move, correct, and print.... After Effects is used in rare occasion where i need to create motion keys and the occasional random client requested effect.
Most projects are small commercials and family movies/personal projects.... most are SD (.mod) few are HD (.mts).... most of them are outputted to Menu based DVDs (the other thing i use After Effects for)....
Does that change things?
But if I can run it, then I can run it.... I'll just have to pay the low end hardware tax till i get a better system....

We are now working with InDesign CS4 on a Citrix environment and we would like to upgrade to InDesign CS6. Will this work? What version of Citrix is best used?

Yes is the quick answer to the question. This is pretty common in large organizations for design departments or knowledge workers that need access to Creative Suite applications. Although most of the links and documents is on CS5, I have not heard about problems in CS6. InDesign does not require OpenGL hardware acceleration.

Judging from the number of votes (11) on http://community.citrix.com/citrixready/product/adobe+indesign+cs4+v6+0, there are numerous companies doing this, both on XenApp and XenDesktop, however it is hard to track who does what in our installed base.

I am in college and share a computer, photoshop, with my roommate. This summer my roommate and her computer are leaving. Is it possible to load Photoshop onto an external hardrive so that I can use different computers? I know that some programs will work like this but some programs will not work like this.

my intial guess is no. The installation must be linked to your own specific operating system. For example if you copy the photoshop installation folders from her c:drive onto an external drive, then plug that external drive into your computer, I think there's 0% chance that will work. Someone might know better, though..

Can not run complex report with ReportClientDocument using POJO beans.

Any help would be very appreciated I have been stack on this issue for the last 4 hours.
My report has parameters, a ResultSet and subreports that themselves have both parameters and ResultSet.
The report runs well in Crystal Report Designer but not on my application with ReportClientDocument API.

If I understand correctly, you create a local report which choose report from Report Server. You have two query parameters in the report which are returned by stored procedure. Currently, you cannot get default values for these parameters when run the report.
Based on my test, if we haven’t configure these parameter with Available Values, we can reproduce the same issue. Also, caching issue may cause the same issue. If the issue is persist, please delete the corresponding report in the report server. Then, redeploy
it to check.

How can I run a Buffered Contour repeatitively using on-board programming?

I have a 400 point countour move that I would like to run for 100,000 cycles. How can I use the buffer over and over again using on-board programming?

Thank you for your comments. They did not however answer the question. I am asking about buffered contour moves. Most of the Onboard programming examples and tutorials deal with repeating of linear or circular moves. I have been using the onboard programming for some time, and have set up and run may Onboard DO WHILE Loop programs with good result. I have however been having some problems with the onboard progams running reliably for more than 1000+ cycles. I have spoken with Mr. Austin about this, but we have not been able to resolve this problem.
The buffered contouring options are of great value to me, as I would eventually like to follow some pretty complex pathways that require changes in velocity as well. I can sucessfully complete one cycle o
f buffered contouring, but that is all. I can repeat this cycle, but only by buffering two or more iterations of these points. Each time you write to the buffer, it is memory intensive, and the HELP files urge you to not write to buffers too much while motion is in progress. I have worked with the vi that lets you progressively write a large number of points to a small buffer and a while loop. This works great for a few cycles, but I would like to preform 100,000 cycles. I am having trouble getting the same type of vs to work for this many points.
I would like to know if it is possible to have a buffer that you can read from recursively, without it being erased after it is read.
If not, how would it be best to approach this problem?

I'm coming into my second week of desperate attempts to make my After Effects CS6 (Volume License) work in the cursed Mac OS 10.9 : (
I'm back to using CS5.5 which works, but my clients are getting irritated by having to down-save all documents to CS5.5 for me.
I've been in contact with several Adobe advisors without luck, so I'm trying to reach out again, hoping someone has been able to solve this problem, it seems I'm not the only one suffering from this.
– I've installed CS6 OK.
– I'm trying to patch it to 11.0.4, message keeps saying "Adobe Application Manager is damaged or missing, please reinstall"
– I've tried loads of ways to remedy this; CC cleaner, surgical removal and reinstallation of all Adobe files in various order, silent installs, all kinds of permissions repairs and adjustments, reinstalling AAM, installing AAM for volume licensing, studying the PDApp.log, install and crash logs,
I've considered wiping my entire system and trying to downgrade to Mac OS 10.8 in order to get my CS6 back up and running but I worry this will lead to new problems.
Grateful for any tips or help.

Can't run Hardware Test at all. PLEASE HELP!

When hold 'D' during startup, nothing happens.
When I insert my installation DVD and perform the same task, my MBP ejects the DVD.
When I try and use the option + D command, and try and connect to my network, the password isn't correct. This password has worked for everything else I've ever used over said network.

Retail installation DVD & the System DVD are 2 different types of discs. The System DVD is machine specific which what you need to run AHT. Per the KB Article I linked: "If you updated your Mac to OS X v10.8.4 or later, use the system software disc or USB flash drive that came with your Mac."
You can get replacement System Install & Restore CD/DVDs from Apple's Customer Support - in the US, (800) 767-2775 - for a nominal S&H fee. You'll need to have the model and/or serial number of your Mac available.

Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
