I can't save a JPG that was emailed to me on my computer
It keeps saying that I don't have permission to save the file and it tells me to open Finder, go to Get Info and change the permissions. When I do that, my permission is already at read and write permission.. Any ideas?
Repair permissions, restart your computer and try again.

That is stealing. Your friend does not have the right to give her music away. Delete them and purchase your own music.

All music available from your ipod app must be synced through itunes so you cannot save a song sent by email to the ipod app directly on your phone.

if they mail it to an address for your MBP, then you can drag and drop onto iphoto and import it and then sync it to your iPhone as a photo.

Save the attachment in a folder.
From the Organizer menu choose:
File >> Get Photos & Videos >> From Files & Folders
Navigate to your image and click Open.
If the photo is embedded, make a copy or screen grab and then whilst it’s still held in memory open the Elements Editor.
From the menu click:
File >> New >> Image from clipboard
Then use File >> Save As
Then choose jpeg. -

Did you scan the file directly into Acrobat, but didn't save it? If so, the file is most certainly lost, and would need to be rescanned.

You can't, i'm sorry. What you're running into is the activation lock and it requires that the original owner release it with their apple ID before you can set it up.

Yes, you can do all of that via Tools - Forms - More Form Options - Import Data, if you have Acrobat.
If you only have the free Reader then you can still do it, but it requires a script. -

Unfortuantely, you can only track the phone if you had set up iCloud and enabled Find My iPhone on it before it was lost or stolen. I don't believe there is anything that Apple can do to locate your phone either.
