I can't save bookmarks to the folder I want, they all go to "recent bookmarks"

as ive browsed your FAQ database for a solution to this specific question, you seem to give automated answers for us. WE WANT THE OLD BOOKMARK TAB BACK! where you can choose the folder/place where to save the bookmark in question.
What is it that makes you not understand this?
i couldnt give a c**p about your "intellligent bookmark folder" it just doesnt do the things it is supposed to.
As it seems to me that you have gone and tried ti fix something that was already working, i assure you, stop before you make it even worse.
If on the other hand you do not give a sufficient answer, i am going to uninstall firefox from all my computers and revert back to using Internet explorer.
happy new year
pousse

I did not have a star. When I clicked on the bookmark tab the list of bookmarks appeared, and one item in the list was "bookmark this page". When I clicked on that, a window appeared that let me choose which folder to place the bookmark in.
