I can't see any new emails since the beginning of the new year.

I can retrieve them on my phone and yahoo acct, but not from my mail icon. What do I need to do?

Open Mail.
From the menu bar top of the screen click Mailbox > Take All Accounts Online
Then click the envelope icon top left corner of the window to, "get new messages in all accounts".

Delete your account and start fresh. You should be able to see the downloads on a fresh install.

I honestly don't know if DW CS5 is compatible with Win 8.1. The OS compatibility FAQ only mentions DW CS6 & CC.

ITunes 11.3. I can't see any way of accessing the CD database to get track names if somehow they weren't accessed when ripping the CD into my computer. It used to be EASY.

As far as I know this has never been a feature of iTunes. You always have to identify the CD before ripping. If you selected the wrong CD you can re-identify it for the next time the Cd is inserted but it won't re-label tracks you have already ripped. To re-identify an incorrectly identified CD: "Insert the CD and select it in iTunes, then menu Advanced > Get CD track names. I can't see any new SMS messages without changing one of my options?

I got the BB Curve 8520 around a month ago. Ever since getting it, whenever I have a new SMS there will be a message indicator showing at the top. But when I go to the Message LIst, there are no messages. I found out soon after that to see any of my unread messages, I have to change an option.
So I have been doing that for the past month. I regularly receive messages, and automatically I click 'Options' and change ' Display Time' to either a yes or no. When I go back to the message list, all my unread messages are there.
I have not set up an email account. Thank you!

Try this > Open your Messages folder > press the Menu Key > Options > General Options > Email and SMS Inbox and set that to SEPARATE.
Or what is the current setting there?

Can't see any new podcasts/apps in iTunes 11.2.1

I'm running iTunes on an iMac, OS X 10.7.5. For several weeks, I have been unable to see or subscribe to any new podcasts in the itunes store, period. Previously I could see a new podcast, but could not see its individual episodes. I can still see podcasts I have already subscribed to and am able to download episodes. I can also see music, music, and iTunes U contend, but apparently not all TV shows. Anyone else having this problem and know a solution?

Can't save any files ever since the update to Maverick.

Hello everybody,
Everytime I try to save a file the "save as" box pops up but as soon as I select a folder to save the file to....it flashes and closes.
It's definitely an issue of the OS because it happens in any application when attempting to save.
The only way I've worked around it is by saving is to the default location and then moving the file to it's intended location. It's a major hassle and it makes me think there's more wrong with the update. As much as I love the enhancements, I regret upgprading.
I would welcome any suggestions on what to do. Or am I just stuck in waiting for an FIX from Apple? I hope not.

When I click on the App Store I can only see "games" at the top of the screen, I can't see any Apps?

Recently I have noticed that when I click on the App Store on my iPad it defaults to "games" at the top of the screen and I can't see any new apps? Previously it defaulted to Apps and you had to chose "games" but now it seems to default to games and I don't know how to view apps without searching for the specific one?

I am surely missing something very simple, and hopefully Ralph will see it, but no matter what I do, I cannot replicate what you are seeing, try something I recommend time and again. CLose the App Store app and reboot your iPad.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the App Store app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

I'm sorry you're having issues with your e-mail account on your phone Rusty1112. Let's figure out what's going on. First, please try deleting account/information again and then restart phone. When phone is back on, try adding e-mail account again, and be sure you're entering exactly as you set up, meaning its case-sensitive. If you're still getting same error, please let us know and let us know what e-mail account it is, Yahoo, AOL, MSN, etc.

To build on the second option provided by The Edmeister make sure that you have your Sync Key, if this is not the case Firefox Sync will not help you (data is encrypted with that Key).
Finally, if the last sync happened long time ago, it may be the case that your data is not on the servers anymore. Firefox Syn wasn't designed as a back up service.

What you posted looks like the iTunes Library.xml file I will let you read about how iTunes works but not only is the .xml not your main library it is just the listing of tracks in your library and where the music files should be located. Your music is actually in media files (by the way, it is pointless to zip those as they are already compressed). Anyway, read these and you will see that your true library file (iTunes Library.itl) is only a small, but still important, part of a complete library.

As you can see, a library has several components, so "getting it back" depends upon what is missing, what it was you actually backed up in the end, if any of this music was purchased from the iTunes Store, etc.

Can't add any new email account - Bug with Ios 6.1.3?

For unknown reason, I can't add any new email account, I get stuck with when I have entrered my email address and password. In fact, the system says " checking" but nothing is happening. Do you have any idea?
Somebody proposed me to reset Safari which I did with same result.
I have two Iphone and 1 Ipad and I have exactly the same problem on all of them.

I finally found the reason, it was linked with my email suffix which was a shorten version. When I put the long one, my email address has been recognized. The strange things is the fact, I have set up earlier the same account in pop instead of imap without any issue. I need to fight with the server name too as my standard incoming server was not recogized on imap (no reason as it works with other system). However, I found my way and it works.
