I can't see anymore in Robohelp 10 a pdf file in a chm file.

In fact, I can open the pdf file when the chm file is opened just after its edition.
But when I open again my chm file , the pdf file doesn't appear. There is just a small square with a white cross inside.

1. The PDF file is added as a baggage file inside the project.
2. I tested on different PC. Here are the details.
Only one people can see the pdf file in the chm.
3. Version of RH : 10.0.0.287.
4. The link in my chm file.
5. No PDF file.
6. PDF file OK.

As has been discussed on these forums thousands of times, Adobe does not make a flash player for iphone/ipad/ipod and likely never will.

Check your Windows Display Preferences, and make sure you're using the default, 100%, smaller screen fonts.

Sending form via email - can't see user responses in returned PDF

I created a form in Form Central. I chose "save as PDF form" and saved it on my computer. I attached this form to an email and asked employees to fill out and send back to me as a pdf. When people email me back their filled in form, I can only see the responses when I click on each individual box. When I print the form, the responses do not print.
Would appreciate help since I distributed the forms to the company, and realized there was a problem as responses started to come in today (I only tested it on my computer and had no issues)
I would appreciate any help you can give. Especially:
Why is this happening?
How do I prevent this in the future?
Is there anything I can do to resolve the issue, without having to send out an updated form?

The users filling out your PDF are not using Adobe Acrobat or the Free Adobe Reader to fill out your form - FormsCentral forms have to be filled out in Adobe Reader or Acrobat.
Also, make sure that you are also using Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat to view those PDFs.
The way to resolve this is to instruct your users to use Adobe Reader to fill out the form.

I can't see the contents of some PDF's since I installed Acrobat Reader X

My OS is Windows 7 Pro
The PDF's are good because in MS Outlook 2010 (preview) or with earlier versions of Acrobat (Acrobat 9 or less) I see correctly the document.
These PDF's are created automatically by external sites (eg home banking) and contains text (showing bank transfers or extracts)
Can Anyone help-me, I don't want to install a older version of acrobat but I can´t see other solution

Try Edit>Preferences>General>Application startup and deselect "Enable protected mode at startup."
But with the some results, the reader doesn’t say anything and show a blank screen.

For information about the Other category in the Storage display, see this support article. If the Storage display seems to be inaccurate, try rebuilding the Spotlight index.
Empty the Trash if you haven't already done so. If you use iPhoto, empty its internal Trash first:
iPhoto ▹ Empty Trash
Do the same in other applications, such as Aperture, that have an internal Trash feature. Then restart the computer. That will temporarily free up some space.
According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of available space on the startup volume (as shown in the Finder Info window) for normal operation—not the mythical 10%, 15%, or any other percentage. You also need enough space left over to allow for growth of the data. There is little or no performance advantage to having more available space than the minimum Apple recommends. Available storage space that you'll never use is wasted space.
When Time Machine backs up a portable Mac, some of the free space will be used to make local snapshots, which are backup copies of recently deleted files. The space occupied by local snapshots is reported as available by the Finder, and should be considered as such. In the Storage display of System Information, local snapshots are shown as Backups. The snapshots are automatically deleted when they expire or when free space falls below a certain level. You ordinarily don't need to, and should not, delete local snapshots yourself. If you followed bad advice to disable local snapshots by running a shell command, you may have ended up with a lot of data in the Other category. Ask for instructions in that case.
See this support article for some simple ways to free up storage space.
You can more effectively use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper (ODS) or GrandPerspective (GP) to explore the volume and find out what's taking up the space. You can also delete files with it, but don't do that unless you're sure that you know what you're deleting and that all data is safely backed up. That means you have multiple backups, not just one. Note that ODS only works with OS X 10.8 or later. If you're running an older OS version, use GP.
Deleting files inside an iPhoto or Aperture library will corrupt the library. Any changes to a photo library must be made from within the application that created it. The same goes for Mail files.
Proceed further only if the problem isn't solved by the above steps.
ODS or GP can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To see everything, you have to run it as root.
Back up all data now.
If you have more than one user account, make sure you're logged in as an administrator. The administrator account is the one that was created automatically when you first set up the computer.
Install the app you downloaded in the Applications folder as usual. Quit it if it's running.
Triple-click anywhere in the corresponding line of text below on this page to select it, then copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:

Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing command-V. You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator. Ignore any other messages that appear in the Terminal window.
The application window will open, eventually showing all files in all folders, sorted by size. It may take a few minutes for the app to finish scanning.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of doing this. Don't delete anything as root. If something needs to be deleted, make sure you know what it is and how it got there, and then delete it by other, safer, means. When in doubt, leave it alone or ask for guidance.
When you're done with the app, quit it and also quit Terminal.

I created pdf forms using adobe forms central.
)    I have the pdf I created using FormsCentral on my desktop
)    I do a file save as pdf, so I can change the name of the document while still saving my blank original pdf document.
)    I write into my fillable saved as pdf doc and then email it to a coworker. The file size at this point is around 67 KB
)    This coworker opens up file and does a save as so they can rename it and save it to their desktop.
)    This coworker than adds information to the document by tying into the fillable pdf doc.
)    They email the document back to me
)    When I receive the document it is now 1 MB, Also I can only see what I wrote into the doc before I emailed it to her. However if I print the document everything she typed in shows up on the printed document. Or If I click in each field that you can type in the words or numbers she typed in show up but only in the field I’m clicking my mouse in
)    My question is would you say this is a user issue or an issue with the form itself, perhaps a bug.

Hey George, I emailed you the pdf docs. One using Windows Reader and One using Adobe Reader. It does appear that the fillable pdf docs do not work very well with windows reader. Windows Reader makes the file size much bigger and doesn't let people who don't use windows view info put into the file unless you print the doc or click in each space to view whats written. It does appear that the drop down menus and check boxes work in both adobe reader and windows reader.

Can't see Acrobat Background behind Pages PDF?

I am trying to apply a background in Acrobat 6 to a pdf printed from Pages 2.0.1 and I can't see it. If I apply the same thing as a watermark, it works fine.
If I export to Word and print to PDF from there, I can add the background just as I want.
It appears that Pages exports a solid white backgound that hides the Acrobat background. The background I want to apply is my letterhead. I never know when I start a document if I will print it on real printed paper letterhead or if I will need to send it via email. So I want to be able to use a single template file with a transparent back so I can apply my letterhead to it. By the way, my letterhead contains a "watermark" image in the middle of the page, so putting it on as a watermark in Acrobat does not work for me
Does anyone know how to print a PDF from Pages (either via Print to PDF or via Distiller) that I can then apply my letterhead to in Acrobat?

All seems the long way round, to me. Doubtless there'll be other users who can help you navigate cross-app complexities. I just use Pages, and don't.
But have you tried to make a background of your letterhead and watermark in Pages? Set up a text box to hold them, leave just enough margin to manipulate the text box, leaving the marginless printing option in the print dialogue to bleed it out later. Make the object "fixed on page" and deselect "object causes wrap" in the object inspector, then send it back - or even to the back from the "arrange" menu. Make it a master object if you want it on every page, and layer whatever else you want over it. If you just want to send an overlaying text, then select that and paste it into whatever application you want to send it from. Do the background in Pages first, that is to say, and then make your PDF or whatever you need from that.
Type "watermarks" (for example) in the online help search for details.
Of course there could well be something about Acrobat that I don't know, that could prevent your importing its product into Pages to use in this way. I'll have to leave that for others to solve if it's a problem. But please be aware that Pages does have comprehensive layering and "alpha object" transparency control in its own right via the object inspector: it doesn't need Acrobat to support that. The question is, can you get at the source of your Acrobat material, and can you get that into Pages? If you can, you can manipulate it.
Should my suggestion prove constructive, its gist is to consider Pages as a source of overlayed layout, not simply as a vehicle for other versions of it.

I would like to be able to display the title of the PDF or book while in library mode. In iTunes, you can click and hold on the song to get the full title information. I would like to see the same feature in iBooks if it doesn't already exist.

You can omit the title altogether in the URL (together with the succeeding slash, of course). For example, my own podcast URL in the Store is

Using Preview: how can I see an attachment inside a pdf-file?

I received a pdf-file which contains an xls-file as an attachment.
Using preview I cannot see the excel file. Only in Acrobat it shows the attachment and I can then select it and open in Excel.
Any idea if that is also possible using preview?

Can't See com.sap.portal.runtime.logon in list of PAR Files in Iview Wizard

Hello All,
I am trying to create an iview from PAR file com.sap.portal.runtime.logon which is the logon par file that has the logon page. But when I right click a folder in the PCD and click on New From PAR Iview I try to find on the list of available par files and I don't find the one named com.sap.portal.runtime.logon
Can anyone tell me if this has to do with the portalapp.xml file from com.sap.porta.runtime.logon.par file.? or with the Security Zones defined in portalapp.xml? Or does someone know why this PAR file doesn't appear on the list and how can I make it appear on this list of par files?
Any helpful ideas to solve this issue will give rewarding points.

What I want to do is to put the logon page in the light framework page so that the users can login from the anonymous portal. After I customize the logon page I want to create aniview in the detailed navigation.
If you want to see the jsp files that the com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par file you have to go to the file system and copy the .par.bak file , rename it to .zip and all the files are there.
But my question is if this is a par file that is deployed in the portal , why I cant create an iview from this par file? From other forums I have read they say that creating an iview from this par file it will put the logon page where you want. But when I try to create an iview from PAR File the com.sap.portal.runtime.logon doesn't appear in the list of available par files.
Please help me on this and will give rewarding points.

Can't see the backup library to DVD any more on the File list is there any other way to backup my music library?

Backing up Library to DVD. On the latest version of iTunes there doesn't appear to anyway of backing up to DVD as a prefered way protecting purchases/Library completely.
Recently had problems with my home computer and wanted to backup my Library to DVD. So went to File on iTunes only find not there anymore, could not find any reference with help on Itunes.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
