I can't see camera in HH2 devices list.

My IP camera is connected via hardwire ethernet cable to the Home Hub 2 and is accessible via desktop and Ipad.
In desktop help "view my network" it is there with its IP address.
In settings in the HH2 devices it isn't, but the desktop (ethernet) and ipads (wireless) are.
I am positive it once was listed but when I came back from hols it had gone and there was a message about lease expired on something or other but I still could access the connected devices.
Why can't I see it in devices conmected to HH2. Cheers.

Its a common problem with the home hubs 1 and 2. If the IP lease expires, it will vanish from the list intil the next time the device requests an IP address. Its best just to ignore it, if your camera is working.
If you restart you camera, it will probably appear again on the list.
You can overcome this problem by giving the camera its own static IP address.

    Devices that use the NI-DAQmx Base driver will not appear with Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX).  Instead, you should use the NI-DAQmx Base Configuration Utility found within LabVIEW under Tools > NI-DAQmx Base Configuration Utility.
    Follow the instructions in the following Knowledgebase for loading the correct task list for use with the DAQmx Base shipping examples:
    KB 3RRF2088: NI-DAQmx Base Task Configuration Utility Does Not Show PDA DAQ Device
    Also, with the new DAQmx Base 2.1, you can now use the CF-6004 Compact Flash Device with the LabVIEW 8.20 PDA Module to target Windows Mobile 5.0 devices.

    Do you have a Mac or idevice for setting up the Express? It does require a later utility than is available for windows.
    You might be able to setup with the v5 utility in windows but there is no guarantee.
    You should use a simple name both for the base and the wireless. eg AEXgen2 base name and AEXwifi for wireless name.. that is if you get access.

    Make sure your headphones are plugged in all the way, meaning you cannot see any of the silver still showing from the headphone's plug. 
    A feature of the Nano is to put it to sleep when the display goes out and it does not detect any headphones.

    ... other applications do (skype does, facetime and messages don't see camera.
    Safari can use the camera (chats through safari with google accounts can use the camera, messages on the same acounts do not see the camera).

    The camera did appear in systeminfo as a usb device. However I manged to get messages and Facetime to see the camera after deleting the the Library/preferences/com.apple.imagt and restarting.
    If the camera is not found at a restart this file gets corrupted and has to be deleted. Messages and Facetime are affected but Skype finds the camera once it is seen by the system.

    I have HP IPAQ PocketPC with Windows Mobile 2005, CF-6004
    device, PDA 8.0.1 module and I installed DAQmx Base 2.0 on PocketPC. I followed instructions in documentation I get with DAQmx Base 2.0 and PocketPC is correctly conncted to PC.
    But I can not see CF-6004 in MAX?!?
    I found out somewhere that DAQmx Base support CF-6004 on Pocket PC 2003 OS but I did not found that information for Windows Mobile 2005 OS!

  • I can't see iPad icon under device in my itune in my desktop computer

    In preparation to upgrade my iPad software, i ave been advice to use the iTunes facility on my desktop
    On connecting my iPad using the provided cable, iPad icon is not shown under device.
    Pls advice
    How can I backup my iPad.
    Can I connect my iPad to my desktop computer with ineffective anti virus. Am not sure the anti virus is effective, recently I observed the hard drive is always busy executing one action on the other, which has drastically slow down it's response time, this started when a friend used hs flash drive on my computer, is it advice to connect my iPad to such, pls help.

  • Started using iphoto and now windows can't see camera

    I borrowed my friend's digital camera and now he can't use his camera on his Dell. We had gone back and forth before with the same camera, the problem started when I set my Powerbook to launch iPhoto whenever I plugged the camera in. I don't actually remember doing that, but I hadn't been using iPhoto before.
    I also used to be able to see the camera as a mounted volume, but I can't anymore. The only way we can access the camera contents is to import them into my iPhoto.
    He is (shockingly!) annoyed with me because he can't use his camera anymore except on my computer. How do I undo this? I can't even see a way to stop iPhoto from launching automatically when I plug the camera in, and I can't get the camera to mount as a volume on my Powerbook.

    Welcome to Discussions.
    To get Iphoto to quit opening when you attach the camera:
    IMAGE CAPTURE
    Go to the Applications folder and open Image Capture.
    The preferences in Image Capture determine what happens when a camera or card reader is attached.
    Check the camera menu for how it is setup for a USB connection. This may be the problem.

    I use iwork 08 and I allready have a to do list on my ical, but in my iphone after sync I only see my calendar, contacts, etc. but not my to do list. How can i see it?

    I use a combination of Toodledo.com (a free online To Do manager, though I upgraded to their $15/yr "Pro" service) and an app for the iPhone called "Todo" (oddly enough) by Appigo. This iPhone app syncs perfectly back and forth to Toodledo.com and of course you can manage your to do list via Safari on your Mac or any browser from anywhere (like Internet Explorer at work, airport, etc). It costs $9.99 from the iTunes store, but its well worth it. Less structured than OmniFocus (which is overkill for me) and works via the web so I can access my data from anywhere on any device.
    Also, through Toodledo.com you can subscribe to a shared iCal calendar that contains your To Do list - so, while you can't edit through iCal (must edit on the web at toodledo.com or on your iPhone via Todo or the toodledo.com iPhone-specific webpage), you can SEE your to do list on the side pane of iCal.
    Works very well, actually. At the least I can see my to do list when iCal is open, and the web app is very easy to use. And Appigo's iPhone app Todo is very well written and has a great interface. There is also a Dashboard widget you can download that lets you manage your to do list.
    And Appigo also has an app called Notebook which also syncs notes back and forth to Toodledo.com ($4.99 I believe from iTunes).
    (I have no relationship with Appigo, but I did buy both of these app and I think they're well worth the price).

  • Can't see audiobooks on iPad "books" list

    I am having trouble getting recently purchased audiobooks that appear in the computer's iTunes source list to show up under the "Books" tab of my iPad when it is hooked to the computer and selected in the "Device" list. All the eBooks included in the iTunes source list show up in the iPad's "Books" list, but the audiobooks don't, and I can't do a manual sync. Anyone have any thoughts.

    i want to be sure that you are looking in the right place, so please dont be insulted by this question: are you llooking for your n95 here?
    iPhoto window, left-hand side, in the list with your photo albums, etc.
    on my mac, with my n95 connected, i see the name of my phone (mines called 'Big-Bill') listed near the top of the album list, with a digicam icon. when i click on this icon, the right side of the window changes from my photos, to a large picture of a digicam, with a button near the bottom labeled "Import".
    to be sure, importing photos from the n95 is not automatic. you have to manually import photos using the button described above. it is likely a wise idea to "delete originals" when you import, otherwise you keep the full 5mp images on the phone.
    after i import, with my phone still connected the NMT software begins a fresh synchronization, sending 320x240 resolution copies of my images back to my phone.
    assuming that this IS where you are looking - let me ask you, do you know which USB connection mode you phone is operating in? the nokia provides several, and the option to ask you at connection, or to always use a particular connection mode (options are: PC Suite, Data TRansfer, Image Print, Media Player). i can verify that the connection mode: 'PC Suite' works properly for me.
    N95-1 ---> N97-NAM ---> N900 ---> E7-00 + N900 (I use them both)
    (N95 was pretty good, N97 had potential but utterly failed to deliver, N900 is absurdly good. Those of you wondering, "should I try N900/Maemo/MeeGo"? The answer is a resounding YES)

    Go to the Photos mode and in View enable Event Titles:
    Then you'll get this type of list:
    To open or close all events at one time Option-click on the triangle at the beginning of the Event title.

  • Assign Task is assigned to a specific user but the she can not see it in her ToDo list

    I am currently working on the first process (after upgraded it to LC ES 2 with SP2) and try to test by routing it to the next person but the user could not see it in her ToDo list nor receive any Task email.
    I checked for the process in the AdminUI and see that it is currently assign to that user and also check the email configuration but do not see any thing wrong. I also recorded it and see it is assign to that person. I then try to re-assign it to a different person but it still does not show in the next person's ToDo list. So I go to the log file and see there is an error as below:

    It sounds like you have not selected anything on the Presentation & Data tab of the Workspace Startpoint/User Service.
    You need to specify:
    Your Asset (the form you want to present to the user)
    An associated Action Profile (tells the server how you want the form rendered...typically it is set to Default which uses the Render PDF Form process)
    The variable to hold your data(typically an xml variable)
    Make sure these are set.
