I install OS X Yosemite and now i can't get my extensions on Safari and when i do get it it is at the back of the address bar

Ditto, since the Mavericks update, the Purchased screen on my late-2012 iMac is just a blank white screen. Works fine on my mind-2013 MacBook Air updated to Mavericks, but not the iMac.

I think you're confusing Time Machine (the backup software) with a Time Capsule (Apple hardware combining a wireless router and HD). Unless you have a Time Capsule you want to back up to, there's no point to clicking the Set Up Time Capsule button, if that's what you mean:
I've attached the Firewire bus from system profiler, dont understand why i can see it there but not in TM.
There seems to be some sort of problem with the drive, since Disk Utility thinks it's fixed, but immediately the problem returns (per the first sample you posted).
How old is the drive?
If it's within the warranty period, you might want to contact WD or the place you bought it.

Safari 5.1 - Can't see my extensions.

I want to uninstall some extensions but when I go to preferences, I can't see the list of my extensions.

Uninstall SIMBL by deleting these items:
/Library/Application Support/SIMBL
/Library/LaunchAgents/net.culater.SIMBL.Agent.plist
/Library/ScriptingAdditions/SIMBL.osax
Log out and log back in.
Make sure you never reinstall SIMBL, as it’s one of the worst articles of crapware on the Mac platform. It’s likely to come bundled with some other modfication that depends on it. If you want trouble-free computing, avoid software that makes miraculous changes to other software, especially built-in applications. The only real exception to that rule is Safari extensions, which are mostly safe, and are easy to get rid of when they don’t work. SIMBL and its dependents are not Safari extensions.

Can't See Downloaded PDFs in Safari 3.0.4

Installed 10.4.11 over 10.4.10 using software update. Safari 3.0.4 set to show downloaded PDFs in a Safari Window. Adobe Reader 7.0.9 set to show PDFs in Browser Window. Safari correctly opens a new window as the PDF download begins. All seems to work fine until the moment Safari is about to display the downloaded PDF in the Safari window. At that instant, the Safari window turns completely dark gray and you can't see the PDF at all. The whole content area of the window turns dark gray. I grabbed Safari 2.0.4 from my backup and tried it. Same result. I reinstalled Adobe Reader from scratch. Same result.
This is critical here. We have to view PDFs all day.
It all worked fine under 10.4.10.
Any ideas?

Thanks. We can now see PDFs after installing Adobe Reader v8 as you recommend. But we sure miss the user interface of Reader v7 ! The user interface of Reader v8 will take some getting used to.
Would be nice if Apple documented the dependency/requirement somewhere, no????

I had the same problem after making Adobe the reader for pdf. Fixed it by
1) removing the Adobe plug-in from the Internet Plug-Ins file in the Library.
2) restarting Safari.
Back to normal.

I am trying to install an extension to Safari (5.1.9.) however I get an error message after which the install button disappears and it says: Install Failed. Please try again later.
- I have tried deleting the user/library/caches/com.apple.Safari/cache.de
- I have tried deleting the user/library/safari/extensions/... .plist
Any suggestions?
I am using macbookpro (mid 2009) running os x 10.6.8

Hi this is not a problem of Safari but the dumb Server that doesn't recognize the User Agent header from your browser and has no default to handle the exceptions.
You can instruct Safari to show the "Development" menu by:
- Going into the Safari / Preferences ...
- Select [Advanced Tab]
- Check [x] Show Develop menu in menu bar
So when you go to a seemly not functional site that has an aspx in the URL like https://chaseonline.chase.com/Logon.aspx
You simple go to the Menu item Develop and under User Agent select [Internet Explorer 10]
And then to the dumb server you will look like using IE and for the most part it will work.

How can I see multiple pages in safari

I used to be able to have up to 9 pages visible in safari, my husband has been playing with my iPad and upgrading it and now I can only see one page with the others in the toolbar only.... How an I change it back pls

iOS 5 added the use of Tabs at the top of the Safari screen. Just simply tap on a tab at the top under the browser bar to switch from site to site.

An image comes on my screen, but I can only see the first page. When I try to print, I get a blue question mark and can't print.

Recently when I pull up a multi-page document from an internet site, I can only see the first page. I can't scroll through it. When I try to print, I get a big blue questionmark. What's the solution to this, please?

Can't see video's in Safari

Well hello all, another problem with my problematic mac. I got it from the trash so it was expected but now it's finally stable with extensive upgrades.
So now, when I go to apple.com and say I want to see the ads they have or a movie preview, I can hear sound but no video is displayed. Any help anyone?

Not sure what the Apple site uses, but have you got the latest version of FlashPlayer installed? Having Flip4Mac will help with WMP files (I doubt Apple uses that!).

I can't see downloaded wallpapers from Safari or other apps in my Photos folder

Only the pictures that I click from the camera are being seen in the camera roll and the older wallpapers. None of the new pictures downloaded from Safari or other apps are seen. I tried deleting some photos, hoping that there must be a limit on the number of photos one can keep in the folder, but even that didn't help.
Can someone tell what is the issue over here? I am using an iPhone 4.

Since the cloud has been updated, I can not see my files on safari. Why?

Why can I not use safari to open my creative cloud page? I used that browser for months and since the cloud has been updated, I can only use google chrome.
