I can't see my full notes in iCal

When I am in iCal and I go to an event and double click on it I can see the notes. Then when I click "edit" it shows all the notes except the last line or so. Yes, I am scrolling down and nothing is there. The weird thing is that once I enter any character after the last character in the notes section-the rest of the missing notes re-appears?!

I tried to include a screenshot in my original post, but apparently it didn't work.
I can edit regular reminders just fine doing what you describe. However, when I try to do the same thing for a repeating reminder, the popup that comes up is not editable. That's the frustrating part.
I suspect the theory espoused earlier on the thread is correct, i.e., that iCal hasn't had real support for repeating reminders built into it yet. I can work around the problem so far by updating the reminders in question on either my iPhone or iPad, but that particular workaround is useful only if you have an iPhone or iPad.

First, try to reset by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.
If this does not help, connect in recovery mode and restore, explained in this article: iOS: Unable to update or restore

I can't see the full itunes screen

I for some reason can't see the full i-tunes screen on the right side where it shows the top songs,videos etc.And it only happens when i am in the itunes store because when i am in my music where my music is listed i get the bar with the arrows underneath I've tried pulling it over and going to the lower right side and pulling it over but nothing seems to work.i even re downloaded i tunes and i am still having the problem

Nope. The iPad (and iPhone and iPod touch) cannot execute Java applets. It's a limitation in iOS from the beginning (just like lack of Flash). You will either need to use a desktop computer or access a desktop computer via RDP or VNC to access that page on iPad.mIn short: there is no native way to use a Java applet on iOS.

HT4859 I have my iPhone and iPad backed up to iCloud. Recently, I had my iPhone stolen. I am trying to see the iPhone Notes but when I go to iCloud, I can only see my iPad Notes. How can I see the iPhone Notes?

I have been backing up my iPhone and iPad through the iCloud.
Recently my iPhone 4 was stolen but had recently been backed up. I am trying to find the Notes on that iPhone through the icloud.com.
When I go onto icloud.com, I can only see the iPad Notes - not the iPhone Notes.
Can anyone help?

Were both devices sync'ing their notes to iCloud? Or was one set to sync, and the other just to backup?
If you look in settings -> iCloud you needed to have the slider by Notes "ON" for both devices if you wanted to sync notes between both of them and iCloud. In that case, notes on each would be identical, and the same as you can view in the Notes app on www.iCloud.com
If you had the Notes slider "OFF" and the iCloud Backup option "ON" then your notes should be in your backup and restoreable, but you will not see them online in the Notes app there.

I can only see Inbox and not any other boxes (eg outbox, drafts, sent...)

Thunderbird has been running OK for months but now I can only see my outbox. I cannot see any way to see anything else! I'd really like to get back to the display that shows the whole list of 'boxes' in, out, etc, and my custom name boxes. These usually appear in a column on the left. But I am stuck in Inbox. I can send mails OK. In fact I can access
Get Mail, Write, Chat (not used), Address Book, and Quick Filter... and there's the search box. I could send a screen shot if you had a way for me to send it.
I feel there's a button somewhere that could sort out my problem... but I've tried everything I can think of.
So for now Thunderbird is of little use :( I hope you can help.

This happens often, and I was wondering if I am missing something, as I can't find any threads anywhere on the internet which addresses this problem...
The picture shows the game screen (this only happens on flash games). I can't play ANY flash games with this player, as I can't see many parts of the screen (see below and right of game screen).

Hi, the first thing is to make sure Flash Player is working correctly. Go to this test site and can you see the animation?

It will also display the version of Flash Player you have Installed.
Then I would read the system requirements of the website.
Also in Add/Remove, what listings of Java do you have Installed?
Then I would go to Tools, Internet Options and make sure under the Security Tab, you have it set to Medium for the Internet Zone.
Finally, go to this Troubleshooting Guide and make sure you have the Javascript Settings correct.

My hard drive crashed so I had to reinstall iTunes. Now I can't see the full versions of the songs I purchased recently in iTunes.

I can see the preview versions of the songs in my account but I don'[t know how to restore the full versions. Thanks for any advice.

Depending on which country you are in, then you might be able to re-download the music from iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 . Otherwise have you not got a backup of your purchases on, for example, an external drive or DVD that you can copy back onto your computer and add into iTunes ?

Can't see photos full screen on my Ipod

Uploaded lots of photos to my Ipod - I can see them in the little squares but when I press the center button to view the photos full screen everything just goes blank. THANKS FOR ANY HELP

You probably just upgraded to the 1.0.3 software. This is a bug with the upgrade via Apple. You need to resync the photos. Erase them and resync the same way to put them on your ipod classic the first time and after you do that, they will show up full screen. You only need to resync one time after the 1.0.3 update. Not sure why this happens, but many ipod owners (including myself) experienced this after the 1.0.3 update and it was the only logical reason for all of our ipods suddenly not showing photos. After the resync, all is good again.

Yahoo Mail account can only see certain subfolders, not main inbox

Can anyone please help? I've been on the phone with Apple tech support for 2 hours. I have a Yahoo Plus mail account that I've had for about 8 years. I've had my iPhone for a week now and have had no problems receiving or sending mail from my Yahoo account up until today. Today, I noticed my inbox was not updating. All of my subfolders (Trash, Bulk, other self created folders) retrieve email perfectly. My Inbox and Sent Items folders, however, won't retrieve mails, and they just sit there with the pinwheel saying "Checking for mail." I've done a soft reset on the iPhone, deleted and recreated the account multiple times, then even did a full software restore on the phone. No luck. I created a fake Yahoo account and used it to check mail and it works perfectly. This to me indicates a Yahoo issue.
The last guy I spoke to in Apple customer service mentioned that older Yahoo accounts were stored on an older server, and that those older account were having problems and not working correctly. His solution was to create a new account, as those are configured on the new server. I'd rather not do that considering I've had this account for 8 years now. Does anyone know if this sounds correct? If that's the case, it's a ridiculous Yahoo problem, especially if it means loyal users have to start over (and I'm a paying user as well).
I'd welcome any thoughts or suggestions. In typical Yahoo fashion, they're unavailable on the weekends, but I was able to get their email help line which is open during the week. It's 1-866-562-7219. If you're having the same issues that I am, join me in bombarding them with calls until they get it fixed.

I read somewhere someone suggest going into your Yahoo account via the web interface, and send an email through that. You may be promted to enter a code to prove you are a human (a manner of spam protection). Doing that apparently "unlocked" the Yahoo account and it would work again. Give it a shot, its worth a try and not hard to do.
I had very bad service during the week with Yahoo and decided to move all my mail accounts to GMail. I don't get push email, but I get CONSISTENT mail delivery, which is better than intermittent push.
