I can't see my Kobo to download books in 4.0

Hello,
I have a Kobo e-reader. I downloaded 4.0 from Adobe and ordered a book from my library. I can see the book is there but Adobe cannot see my Kobo. I uninstalled and tried again, re-booted my computer, and still no luck

Connect your KOBO to your computer using a Micro USB cable.
Tap Connect on your KOBO .
Launch ADE.
Kobo eReader will appear in bookshelf (listed on the left side under Devices).

If you click on Purchases icon in the toolbar you should find it listed with your purchases. There should be a progress bar showing.
The file is over 4 GBs. How long it takes depends on your internet service speed.

Old Entourage is POP and new Mavericks MAIL is IMAP I believe. I don;t know how to export in the forms you mention. Frances

Can't see files in document / downloads folder on dmg disk image

So my last update OSX 10.6.8 crapped out and i couldnt boot the system anymore... So i decided to install a new system, before i did that i backed up my whole HDD with disk utility into a compressed DMG file. I went ahead and installed OSX 10.7 new mounted the DMG file, problem is i can't see any files in my document or in my downloads folder anyone has a solution for this or know what causes this problem. Please let me know.

The Finder is a bit lackadaisical about updating itself, you can click back & forth enough times, closing folders, opening folders and eventually it'll be in touch, or you can try something like "A Better Finder Attributes", for it's "force the Finder to update stale information about your files" feature.

Sony needs to address Sony eReader users. I cannot use Kobo to download books to my readers.

What was the point of transferring my Sony Store bought books to Kobo if the Kobo Desktop app won't allow book downloads to my readers? I spent considerable time on the phone with Kobo customer care and tehy determined I need to use PC for Reader (sony) to download my Sony bought ebooks. Yet, I can't find a link to PC for Reader that works. SIte under construction?
Kobo suggested I use adobe digital edition to download books. ADE shows me an empty library. How can Sony ignore it's customers?

How can I see the total number of books (size of library) on iBooks on my iMac and IPad Mini?

I have installed iBooks on both my iMac (main library) as well as on my iPad Mini Retina. I can't seem to find where to see the total number of books in each library? Can anyone enlighten me please? I can see the covers, lists etc. but nowhere how many books I have total in each library (Total: X number of books stored) or something like that. Can someone point me where this information is viewable?

Did you have 'find my iPhone' activated on it? Because if you go to iCloud.com you can log in there and you can remotely lock or wipe your device. From what I hear, the police won't do anything about going and fetching stolen iPads and iPhones, but if you have find my iphone/ipad/ipod/mac turned on then it will give you a map of where it is.
Just keep in mind that sometimes iTunes does ask you for your password regardless, and only a few weeks ago apple brought in security questions, so everyone had to fill in security questions for their iTunes account to make it more secure If all else fails, ring Apple cusomer support and they might be able to bar your account or something, however you may have to make a new account (the might be able to set it up so you have all your previous information on a new account)

Why can't I get Itunes to download books onto my ipod?

I have tried 2 times to download book on to my ipod 5th generation with not success. The frist time was with a gift card which had been acceced but not books on the ipod. I went back into the store and reordered but was informed that the card had be redeemed. On the thrid try in entered mr credit card but still no book. I'm lost -- don't know where to go from here. The main reason for buying an ipod was to be able to download books. Where do I go from here.

Why I can't see videos although I downloaded

I downloaded Adobe Flash Player as requested by Facebook and You tube to be able to watch videos but I still can't watch videos because any time I try to open one, I see a message requesting to download Adobe Flash player again... How may I sovle this matter?

Where can I see the amount of Downloads of my free app

I cant seems to find the amount of Apps being downloaded of my App 2Visitus " Counter". Can I find this somewhere, or can one only see apps that is sold for money.

Can't see public themes or download as ase files

I have created a number of themes from a series of images.
These themes are ALL public (I have checked and checked).
When I open the Kuler panel in InDesign, and search on my
name (as the creator of these themes) only SOME of them appear.
I have also tried to download these themes as ASE files
thinking I could get to them that way, but when I try to download,
I navigate to the place on the hard drive where I want to store
them and click OK. Nothing arrives on my disk. So, I tried again. I
looked at the Save file as type dropdown and notice that there are
NO options here. It fails repeatedly and silently.
Any ideas?

Just had another look:
I have 1 theme which is called Fish. I have another theme
called Fish Bright. The Fish loaded, but the Fish Bright is
ignored. I went back to Kuler online and changed the name of Fish
Bright to Bright Fish. It showed up immediately. Could this be a
bug?
But none of the other missing themes have common words in
their names. I'm puzzled. Why can't InDesign see the other themes?
I am searching using their creator name "tamsin".
I'm on Windows by the way.

I have two iphones associated with my apple ID. One for me and one for my son. He is with his mother half the time so to be physically next to the phone is not possible at the moment.
I noticed on my phone that I got two apps that he downloaded. However, I downloaded an app that I don't think he should have. I saw in my Settings > itunes & App Stores that Automatic Downloads for Music and Apps were both set to ON. I don't use the iCloud. Is there a chance that my son has this app on his iphone now?
If this matters - I am on iOS 6.0.2, iphone 5 - he is on iOS 5.1.1, iphone 4s

Is there an easy way to convert the items that were downloaded to his own ID when he gets one? If not, can he still use the apps that were downloaded using my Apple ID?

Options/General half way down the page, you will see where downloads are sent to.
But to update Firefox all you have to do is open Help/About Firefox.
